We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

    What Our Customers Are Saying

    Written Review

    "Great service"
I recently took my son to the Melia Orlando at Celebration Florida. It was a great experience for us! The service was unbelieveable, the food was great and it was beautiful! I would definately consider coming back.
    "Great stay !"
We stayed over the weekend and took the shuttle to Universal Studios. Fyi: shuttles are first come, first serve. Ate at the restaurant upstairs, was yummy and filling for a day at the park. We didn't have time to check out the pool and other amenities. We did love the room, thought it was very modern, updated and clean. Supplies weren't an issue for us :) Def plan on staying again in the future for a longer amount of time!
    "Melia is a hidden gem"

    "One week stay - great."
My family of 4 adults stayed at the Melia in early February 2015 for 7 days. Our room on the 5th floor was spacious, modern and comfortable. The staff were excellent and service oriented. Wifi was not good, but useable and better than nothing. I would have no hesitation in staying in the hotel again or recommending it to friends.
    "Perfect for our needs"
This property was an excellent choice for a long weekend in Orlando. As it was just my husband and I on the trip, we appreciated the adult-oriented feel that gave us a break from the theme-park and kid-oriented feel of most area hotels. The suite was modern, spacious, and quiet. The location was conveniently located near theme parks, shopping, grocery store, and Starbucks. Free parking and free Wi-Fi were included in the very reasonable room rate.
    "Good value"
The Melia is a welcoming suite hotel situated near to Celebration town centre - a definite bonus in mega sized Orlando. We found the staff friendly and helpful; the two-bedroom suite was big and clean, with decent cooking facilities. The shuttles to the Disney and other resorts were well organised and ran to time, with drivers who were knowledgeable and helpful. For the price we paid the Melia was a bargain.
    "Highly Recommend Sol Melia Orlando"
Recently my husband and I stayed at the Sol Melia Orlando Suites in Orlando and I must say I was very pleased. I have stayed at their other properties in Havana and Cancun and I have always been very pleased. The Sol Melia Orlando Suites is very clean. The staff is very attentive. The pool area was also very nice. I would stay here again. Loved the fact that the rooms are suites and fully set up kitchens, fridge, range. Also enjoyed having 2 televisions.
"Great place for a golf weekend"
Got a great rate on Southwest.com for a two bedroom pool view suite on Superbowl weekend. Our foursome played four rounds of golf, hung by the pool, used the hotel shuttle to transport us to private superbowl partyand we watch our Pat's win! Hotel rooms were updated, clean daily, very large, nice balcony to enjoy the weather....all around great place to stay. Near enough to all the parks and very close to some great golf.
    "Beautiful Resort"
I'll start by saying I'm a Disney Girl! I generally stay on property because I want the level of service and cleanliness that you are almost guaranteed at a Disney Resort. However, on this trip we were doing a romantic getaway. I chose Malia in part because of the great rate but mostly because the pictures and reviews were consistently great. We arrived early afternoon and were greeted by a gracious staff who made us feel special and at home at the same time. When we were escorted to our room we were thrilled to find that we'd been upgraded to a massive suite that was bigger than my first few apartments! The view from our balcony was a beautiful pool. We were really close to the parks but found that the shuttle service that you pay for with your resort fees only run twice a day...not so good. We ordered a cab and agreed on a flat rate that included the parking fee. I showed my annual pass upon entering the gate and were waived through with no parking fee - the cab driver was insistent that the fare remain the same. It was a bit frustrating but not enough to dampen the mood. We had an amazing time at the Food & Wine Fest then headed back to the resort. Again we were greeted by super friendly staff. We hung out in the hot tub and ordered late night food - again great service! For the $150 plus $15 resort fee we felt that we got way more than our money's worth!!!!
"Very good option for Orlando. I'd come back over and over again"
Although it may not be the most romantic of hotels or have the typical Orlando atmosphere (Disney stuff all over) , it is certainly a very very good option when traveling with large parties. The Melia offers rooms that are actually apartments. Each room has a full kitchen and all the amenities one could ask for when traveling to Orlando (especially with Families). My stay was really great. Staff was courteous, room was clean and internet signal was strong. The only two things preventing me from giving a 5 star are: - Parking at night can be a nightmare. When returning from the parks all tired and exhausted, we had to park really far away as the parking spots by my building were all used. - Bathroom needs a bit of improvement. Water coming of out the shower was weak, and no hot water came out of the sink. I really suggest this hotel. Good value for the price.
    "Big room, little atmosphere."
Lobby looks really nice. The rooms are big,but super plain. Just overall boring! Tiny little TVs and dirty carpets throughout the suite. Plus...the toilet broke as soon as we got in the room- 1 flush and it was dead. Big room for the price but they need some pizazz.
    "gin & tonic frolics"
We spent ten days here at the beginning of October as my partners son was getting married at Cypress Grove. We had a corner suite on the 3rd floor facing toward the hospital across the freeway just outside celebration, although traffic noise wasn't intrusive so not an issue at all. The suite consisted of Two large double rooms, both en suite with separate shower cubicles and baths hand basins and WC one of the bedrooms had a large balcony with table and chairs for at least 6 people.. A huge kitchen diner/ lounge with a balcony over looking the rear of the hotel, which contained all the usual mod cons, air conditioning etc. Everything was extremely clean and in excellent condition, with our suite being cleaned daily while we were out. The food in the hotel was good although the menu was very limited, and we only ate there on two occasions, we mainly ate out but on a few nights after one gin too many in the hotel bar. we discovered through Kevin our most excellent fun and friendly bartender that we could order takeaway and have it delivered to the hotel. The hotel was an extremely relaxing and enjoyable haven to return too from the hustle and bustle of Orlando and I would recommend this to anyone as great place to stay.
    "Beautiful"
Me and my family of 4 went here, it was such a beautiful hotel, the staff were lovely! A top tip is to go to ponderosa for breakfast, it's lovely there and not badly priced. Well worth it! Wasn't a fan of Disney, as too many kids waiting for costumed people, but it was lovely to go there, great memory here as taught my younger brother to swim in that pool! It was great!
"Nice suites in a good location"
The room is good and comfy. The pool area looks ok, I have not gone closer. They have a good local transportation limousine service. Guests have access to a nice fitness centre across the road and the health center. They have a small restaurant for breakfast.
    "Excellent value"
Rooms Excellent sizes. Beds were very comfortable. Cleaned daily. No mirror over the dressing table in the main bedroom. Overall tastefully decorated and well maintained. Location 10 -15 min drive from disney - lots of car parking available. 5 mins away from shops / village. Service All staff were Very helpful ! Especially one gentleman that was on reception on the morning of 29th Dec. breakfast did not open till 7am yet we were leaving at 6:30am for Miami - he went upstairs into the restaurant and brought the breakfast down to us so we never missed out. Pool was slightly heated - this enabled us to use the pool throughout the day. The jacuzzi is a little hidden gem in the centre of the pool surrounded by trees. I would definately consider /stay in this hotel again should we ever return to Orlando.

    "Good"
Have really nice rooms but personally dislike the fact that it wasn't a porter guy who helps with the luggage. They make you walk by yourself with it and can be a long distance. Anyway the stay is pretty good with nice facilities. If you going to the parks, you going to be near of the most of them.
    "Simply outstanding Staff!"
My review is unusual as we never actually stayed in the hotel. We booked a 4-day non-refundable deal through an airline package, missed our flights, arrived a day later and needed to cancel the rest of our hotel stay altogether as our plans had changed somewhat. We forfeited the first night (understandably) then entered Eric, a thoroughly professional customer-oriented on-duty manager who worked with us to salvage a refund - even leaving updates on our home voicemail twice assuring us it had been processed from Melia's end. When the refund stalled at the outside vendor another Melia manager (Jeff?) followed up aggressively and consistently leaving us voicemails at every stage until our money was fully refunded to our card. Though we never saw the inside of the rooms we will absolutely be staying in Melia on our next visit. Their customer service was simply outstanding! 5 of 5 starsReviewed January 6, 2015 My review is unusual as we never actually stayed in the hotel. "Love this place"
Upon arrival we were quickly checked in and given our choice of room. We took a two bedroom with pool view and it was great. Free laundry was a great surprise as too was the suite as a whole. The mattresses were all good quality and we had tons of space for our family of five. The one issue we had was that although the maids come every day they don't vacuum. If the staff had no intention of vacuuming during my stay they should at least leave me a vacuum or broom in the closet and I'll just do it myself. By the end of the week we wouldn't even take our shoes off any more because of the mess on the floor. That being said we will definitely be back, the pool was awesome and the location can't be beat.
"LOVED this hotel, will come back soon!"
LOVED my stay when I went. BEAUTIFUL and BIG rooms. The BEDS are incredible. The price excellent. I found the kitchen and rooms beautiful, comfortable, spacious. Location is great, many pharmacies, restaurantes in the same avenue. Near parks. When I go back to Disney will definately will stay there again.
    "Staff credit to melia!"
Our second stay at the melia suites leading up to Christmas and missing it already. Stayed in a refurbed fifth floor suite overlooking pool with full sun all day! Staff couldn't do enough for you - special thanks to Hector and all for making our stay such a joy! Made to feel like one of the family.
    "Staff saved the day"
I recently had to spend a month at the hotel, as a family member was in nearby Celebration Hospital. Being at a hotel that long, you get to see a lot and get to know the staff. The hotel was clean, the rooms big and a reasonable amount of amenities. There is free washers and dryers, you just need to bring powder or alternatively buy some there. I didn't have any thieving issues but I was sensible and used the safe in the room and locked my luggage if there was anything I was concerned about. The best service from the hotel is the free shuttle around Celebration. Available between 7am-11pm, the shuttle can take you to publix, the hospital (has an amazing gym you can use for free as a guest of the hotel) and the downtown area of celebration, which looks like Mayberry. It was the staff Hector and Jeffery that deserve outstanding mentions. Both men were brilliant at a time when I wasn't either my loveliest or in the best spirits. They were always respectful and helpful, gave great information on the local area and a smiling face when it was the only one I saw all day. Overall this hotel was Fantastic and if I had any inclination to return to Florida, would definitely stay here.
"Excellent option so close to Disney"
My husband and I stayed here from December 5-10. We first discovered Melia about three years ago when we spent one night there before checking into our timeshare. The hotel is located very close to Disney. Probably 5 minutes or so to Hollywood Studios which is the closest park to the hotel. We stayed in a one bedroom suite which was very spacious with a balcony overlooking the pool. It is in need of a little spruce up but overall was very clean and well maintained. Beds are comfy, lots of towels in bathroom. We had one dinner in the restaurant and visited the bar a couple of times. Bartender was very friendly and made great drinks. There is a grocery store and lots of restaurants within walking distance. The beautiful town of Celebration is a short drive away. The rate was very affordable both times we visited. We will definitely be back and will recommend it too.
    "Very Pleased!"
Recently we decided to take a trip to Disneyworld Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Of course it was a holiday weekend, everything was booked. I went to ReserveOrlando and instantly got rooms at this hotel, Well I was pleasantly surprised. It is super KID friendly. The rooms were clean, neat and set up very nicely. They are actually small kitchenettes, with everything even dishes. For the price and amenities we would definitely stay there again. We were 5.7 miles from the Magic Kingdom, a short drive and very easy to find. We actually had a bedroom with 2 double beds, a living , kitchen area with an easy chair, fold out couch and small kitchen area that included a 2 burner stove, full size refrigerator, and a dishwasher. Cant ask for more that that. We ordered from a room service menu they had, I think it was called Order In, wow the food was fantastic and fairly priced. So we enjoyed our hotel stay as well as the park. Thank you!!!
    "great family value"
I booked this for a short trip to Disney world with my mother and grandson. It was clean, but the furniture was older, it could use new couch and chair. We went to use the pool one night but it was too cold, not heated. The morning breakfast was great, but only from 6-9 and after a long day at the park we barely made it. There is a game room, fitness room, family bbq area, kids sandbox and a basketball hoop. So, if you are hanging around there are somethings to keep busy. The staff were very friendly and helpful. I have stayed at other resorts in the area, I would probably try their availability before this one again. But, it is close to the parks which is why I chose it. If you have a ground floor unit note that you can hear all noises from the unit above. Overall it was a good value... used AAA rate.
