Bluewater Resort Hotel is the best Hotel we have ever stayed in. The overall stay was immaculate. All the employees were very friendly and helpful. The housekeepers were amazing, always there to help. The cleanliness of the entire building and grounds were astounding. We were there for nine days and never had a complaint! We always felt safe! We are going to stay at Bluewater everytime we visit Myrtle Beach!

"Off Season Paradise"
My husband and I spent 3 weeks in November at this resort. We rented directly from the owner. This resort is a mixture of privately owned and resort owned condos...and it makes for an ok mix. It is popular with Snowbirds during the off season. The location is its best feature, being right on the beach and in the heart of the South Myrtle Beach area. It is ideally placed with restaurants, shopping, entertainment and golfing within easy reach. We enjoyed several rounds of golf, at reasonable prices, with the Myrtle Beach Golf Passport. (There is no residency requirement for the passport.)This unit, #502, has been redone with updated fixtures and a fireplace, making for cozy evenings in the winter. The resort itself is quiet and very clean. In the winter there is a Snowbirds Association. I highly recommend this resort and this part of Myrtle Beach, the south end, as the density is lower than other areas.

I stayed with my family in 1004 The condo was in excellent shape and very nicely decorated! Clean a lot of pools, right on the beach. Excellent facility and I have stayed in quite of few condos over the years.

It was very clean and the staff was fantastic and friendly. Security was also a plus. I would come back!!! It is also a good location. I love the workout room, the rooftop view and all the pools to be able to swim.
"Blu water Resort"
Enjoyed the room, very spaciuos, and clean. Liked having a kichenette, it made eating down there very easy to deal with regarding the price.. And the view of the ocean every morning was to die for, being able to sit on my balcony early in the morning and get that morning breeze off the ocean, the peaceful calm from the waves, and the sun rise. Would not trade that experience for nothing in the world other than the birth of my children. Heaven!
"Great place for family!"
I was a little concerned with all the bad reviews but we booked a room anyway because the price was right. We stayed 4 nights in July 2013 and had a great time! The hotel staff were all very nice and security was great. There were security personnel walking around and I think that keeps the bad guys away. The pools and the hot tubs were all working and in good order. I do think it is important to get the right room. At first we were going to stay in one room on the 7th floor (701). We asked for another room and they accommodated us. We struck the jackpot with ROOM 602! Granite counters, high end furniture and a great view!
"Wonderful Stay at Bluewater!"
I recently stayed at this resort and was very pleased. They've completed some renovations to the pools which made them very nice. Our room was in the villa II building and was clean and nicely decorated. We rented from owners (not through the resort). The owners were pleasant to deal with and accommodated all of our needs. Our stay was a great value and we would return.

Wonderful,kind staff! Very clean and kept secure for guests only. Stayed in 1004 and it is big and beautiful! Love the big balcony! 2 nce bedrooms and 2 bathrooms,full kitchen,dishwasher,food disposal,nice appliances.washer and dryer.TV's in all rooms.
"A great place to bring in the New Year!!!!!"
I stayed at the Blue Water Rsort and was very pleased. Everyone was pleasant and polite. Going through a divorce, and getting married on New Year's Eve, was a little much for me.This year I did something different. I bought the New Year in at the beach. Everything I needed was there at the hotel. The resturant was closed, but King's highway, a block over, had almost any resturant you wanted to eat at. The staff was great. Love you guys. I will be back soon.

My boyfriend and i stayed at room 1406 at Bluewater Resort. It was an excellent time ! The room was beautiful, very clean and tastefully decorated. It was very nice and cozy. The floor was very nice. I would definately go back to Bluewater again and stay in this room.
"Amazing...Must Stay!!!!"
I have been coming to the area now for about 10 years. I admit I was a bit skeptible at first to stay at Bluewater, but boy am I glad I did. The resort is at a great location and the ammenities are amazing. Great ocean front bar, 11 bodies of water (several pools, indoor/outdoor, lazy river), arcade, guest laundry, and must I say GREAT staff!!!!!! I have stayed at several places over the years and by far the staff at Bluewater is the BEST I have come across! They are responsive, attentive, helpful, and most importantly sincere! I have never seen a staff who genuinlaly cares and is so committed to customer service. Now back to the location aspect!!! Bluewater is minuets away form historic ocean blvd, great golf courses, broadway at the beach, family kingdom, and the great Market Common!! Bluewater Resort is one of the best places I have visited and I will be sure to come back!
"Awesome Room (Room 812)"
My husband and I stayed at the Bluewater Resort in Room 812 this past weekend. We were so impressed with the room which was beautiful and decorated so nice. The amentities were awesome with several pools and jacuzzis to choose from. We enjoyed Nassau Ned's and karaoke night with DJ Jessie on Friday and Saturday. All areas were clean and well maintained. We met several staff from security to maintenance to housekeeping manager. Everyone was nice and very helpful. We will definitely be back!!
"Fantastic Suite (Rm. 904)"
Beautifully renovated 2 bedroom apartment. Hardwood flooring, granite counters and very comfortable (and clean) furnishings! It is very clear that whoever owns this place takes pride in their piece of paradise. I would strongly recommend requesting this unit. I heard that the same owner also has 601 and 1406. Apparently, they are equally as nice!!

My family and I stayed in room 601. This place was unbelievable and we loved it. It's new remodeled with all new appliance... stove, refrigerator, sink and a Ninja. The countertops are granite. This kitchen had everything in it I needed to cook with. I love being in the kitchen and it felt like home. All the rooms had flat screen tv's there was a Blue Ray DVD player in the living room. The furniture in the bedrooms was new and clean. The beds slept great.... very comfortable. There is a leather sleep sofa in the living room. The bathrooms are really nice also. I sent the owners an email thanking them for caring and having an awesome place. I received an email back from them letting me now they appreciate my email and glad I enjoyed my stay. I plan to request this room or 904 each time I visit.
"pleasantly surprised!"
We recently stayed at the resort august 8-10th. The resort was very clean! Pools and grounds were constantly being serviced. Great location. My room was 412 which was very clean, looked recently updated, kids enjoyed the large flat screens and blue ray along with arcade. I was a little nervous after reading past reviews but out experience was great and affordable. We will def. Be back:-)
"GREAT PLACE TO STAY!!!!"
I saw your comments 1504 and just wanted to say the renovations were great, my 2 daughters had a blast at the pools and the beach!! I just wanted to say that the place was spotless and the condo was wonderful at keeping the pools clean, we watched them almost every morning cleaning the pool, sidewalk and walkways!!! I heard they are going to have wifi, we just booked again at 1504 for this summer. Condolux was very accomodating and great to deal with!!! Thanks, we can't wait to go back in July!!!!
"Very nice! Would stay at again!"
My boyfriend and I just stayed at this hotel last weekend. We stayed in the "Studio apartment" room. We had an angle view of the ocean, and our own private balcony. It was very lovely. The furniture was a bit dated, but we didn't mind at all. The only downside to the room was that the shower was small, but it had hot water, nice pressure, and over all we enjoyed ourselves. The pools and the jacuzzi were amazing, and the bar and deck were great! The bartender was very friendly and personable, and the drinks were tropical and delicious. The room was big and definitely enough room for the two of us, and the staff were extremely friendly and enthusiastic to help us out. After a late night out, we couldn't find a parking spot in the suites across the street so we had to park in the parking garage, and we had to call the security guard to let us in. When he came, he made sure we had a spot, and drove us back to the front door of our hotel in his golf cart! It was great. Overall, we had a great time, and we would definitely book our vacation again with Bluewater Resort.
"Had a great time"
Me and my children stayed there June 2011, we had an angle oceanfront suite. The rooms were clean upon arrival. Daily maid service was sporadic and had to ask for towels a couple of times, but overall was a great motel. Loved the pools and entertainment nightly. Breakfast buffet was good. great view of the ocean and boulevard.
"Beautiful Bluewater"
After reading all the reviews on this site we almost canceled our reservation. I am glad we did not. When we arrived we were greeted by the staff and were impressed with the unit. Everyone was super friendly and answered any questions that we had. Throughout the week if we had a question it was answered promptly and with enthusiasm. I also observed Bluewater staff members cleaning bathrooms, mopping, collecting garbage, painting throughout the duration of our stay. The pools are small however I believe the pictures on Bluewater's site show what they have accurately. I did notice some sand in the pool closest to the ocean. However, I watched several people come off of the beach and jump in the pool, thus tracking sand into the pool. Our room had an oceanview which overlooked the pool and I observed one of the workers cleaning the pool daily. I also noticed that some complained about the size of the tvs. I do not go on vacation to watch tv. The tvs are fine. I did notice in anther unit they had a large flat screen tv. So I think that just depends on the unit. We would definitely stay here again. We stayed in 905 through Global Connections.
"New Manager Is Doing a GREAT JOB."
This was our third year in a row at Blue Water. The new manager is doing a great job. There were more employees this year than I have ever seen. Everyone is busy working to keep things clean. There is a dedicated lobby attendant keeping the sand under control. We stayed in room 401 and the room was beautiful. The breakfast that was included was great! Nightly entertainment is also nice. The internet service is not the best and the guy cooking at the outside grill should wear gloves. Ned's bar is a nice treat and the electric lemonade is awesome! Would not stay anywhere else - for the price - it can't be beat.

after reading the latest reviews before our check in -- i was close to canceling our reservation and finding a new place to stay for our family vacation!! i decided to give them the benefit of the doubt and gave the manager a call. i explained to her my concerns and she assured me that if the room / resort was not what i had in mind she would refund our money without any charges! well i am soooo glad that i made that phone call because the resort is awesome. very clean, friendly / considerate staff. great view of the ocean (angle view). updated appliances and bathroom. staff allowed us to take a look at the room before making our final payment. i would reccomend this hotel to anyone!!! +
