We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

"Excellent A+ Hotel"
Stayed here during Colonial Williamsburg trip, and was more than impressed. Staff was awesome, rooms were great, pool was perfect. Will stay here from now on when in the area! Cookies upon check-in were the icing on the cake! Ease of check in and check out a plus!
"Closest hotel to Busch Gardens and Water Country"
We stayed here twice when we visited Busch Gardens. Once back in April and another time this past August. We picked this place only because of the proximity to both Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. I can't say enough about how the staff treats you. They are very welcoming and make you feel right at home. The hostess at breakfast remembered that we had been there before. I was totally amazed at her recollection. She is very warm and friendly to begin with but the fact that she remembered was something else. At breakfast, she would go around to each table and chat up the guests. That's something I don't see very often. And she would do this several times. The breakfast buffet is your typical hotel breakfast. There is a chef that cooks fresh omelettes as well a waffles. There is also your typical breakfast dishes like sausages, bacon, creamed chipped beef with biscuit, scrambled eggs, grits, oatmeal, pancakes, and several bread types with a toaster next to them. There is also a selection of breakfast pastries like muffins and danishes as well a yogurt and fresh fruit. The WiFi signal in our room was strong and I did not experience any dropped connections or speed issues. The pool is very nice and both the indoor and outdoor pool are connected via a tunnel. The indoor pool is open year round. When we visited back in April, since the weather was cool then, only the indoor pool was opened. This time, both the indoor and outdoor pool were opened. Our room faced the pool and it can get noisy late at night. The hotel is pretty big and each floor has a lot of rooms. The elevators are located nearest the lower room numbers. There is also another elevator near room 30. The room we had was big, spacious, and comfortable. The bathroom was on the small side though. Overall, this is a nice hotel to stay at and I would pick this place again if we visit Williamsburg.
"Great location! Great staff!"
My fianc and I love spending Labor Day weekend in Williamsburg taking in the sights and Busch Gardens and decided to stay at the DoubleTree. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful along with being very knowledgeable about the surrounding "goings on". They offer a shuttle that grants you a round trip to Busch Gardens and the driver was beyond amazing! He went as far as to give us a tour of neighboring restaurants and his favorite spots on the way home from the park our final night! The rooms are very clean and spacious and they offer an array of dinning on the property as well!
"Great location for busch gardens and williamsburg"
We stayed for two nights. It was a great hotel. Nice pool. We didn't eat at the restaurant. The room was a good size and very quiet. The staff was pleasant. We got water and cookies on arrival. Checkout was easy. Room was an updated decor.
"BEST LOCATION FOR BUSCH GARDENS"
if you main attraction during your visit to Williamsburg is Busch Gardens this is your hotel, just minutes again from the park and the shuttle is available all day at specific hours and our your way back you just need to call them!
"Nice Visit"
My family (3 total) just returned from a weekend in Williamsburg & this was the first time staying at the Double Tree. We chose the DT because of its proximity to Busch Gardens and for the package deal with the park. The hotel interior was nice and had every ammenity that we needed. Our room was clean and also had everything we needed. We ate at the hotel cafe for breakfast (buffet) which was definitely price ($47) for 2 adults and one child. If we go back there we will eat breakfast at Shorty's diner. The shuttle to BG's was convenient and for a small family of 3 it was a great deal ($5/pp roundtrip). It drops you off right at the park entrance...NO LINES for parking! The staff was friendly and very helpful & when we missed our shuttle going back to the hotel we notified someone and the shuttle driver was back to pick us up in approx. 5 min. We will definitely go back to the DT the next time we're in town.
"Nice stay!!"
I recently stayed at the double tree for a mini get away (weds-sat). Upon arriving I was greeted by a very friendly staff, after checking in I received my warm chocolate chip cookie, which I thought was cute. My room was on the 4th floor, it was clean and comfortable. We had a view of the pool which was nice. We had a king size bed which was comfortable. The room came with a small fridge. Would have been nice to have a microwave but it didn't make or break my trip, or change my view of the hotel. The room was nice, had a few small showing of wear & tear, but nothing I would complain about. The hotel has a restaurant (we didn't use). They have a pool which was kept up and clean, open from 6am-11pm (the hotel also has clean towels for guests to use at the pool) we did swim twice in the pool, it is indoor and outdoor which was neat. The pool was heated but it was a good temp to also cool you off on a hot day. They have an arcade with quite a few games. They offer fruit infused water in the lobby downstairs. They have room service we didn't use, but it seemed a lot of people did as you could see the deliveries taking place often. The staff was very friendly and accommodating anytime we came in contact with them. The first day when we got a roll cart to get our luggage out of the car and bring it in, one of the men working explained to us that the hotel was a full service hotel, all we need to do is ask and we could have pulled up and they would help us with our luggage. He suggested taking advantage of the service as we are on vacation and shouldn't be "working". I thought that was very nice. This hotel is VERY close to Busch gardens and from what I understand they offer a shuttle to and from for a small fee. We didn't do Busch gardens but the location was good, not far from the outlets with lots of restaurants close by. We also took a day trip to VA beach which is about an hour drive (depending on traffic). We left around 11am and returned around 8pm, the traffic wasn't an issue during these times. I would def return to this hotel. I thought it was a good value. Good job Doubletree!
"Great Experience"
Upon check in we received a really good warm cookie, and I was told I was the guest of the day. Nice reward!! The room was very clean and comfortable. When we inquired about places to eat with front desk staff another member of the team printed out directions to give to us. Though we did not use the pool it was clean and the chairs around it were comfortable to sit in. Great overnight.
"very nice"
overall very nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff. first hotel i have stayed in and felt i could walk on the floor without shoes and get in the shower with out having to put a hand towel in the bottom. i would definitely say again
"Modern and spacious room"
Great hotel in a nice convenient location. Room is more spacious than your normal hotel room. Bed is very comfortable, living up to hilton chain reputation. Swimming pool is great. Has indoor and outdoor pool, connected through a swim through under a glass wall. Kids told me water is comfortable and warm temp on a cool summer night. On site restaurant is Manhattan price and serves decent food. Only thing missing is a hot tub! Hotel of this scale should have a hot tub. Slight disappointment, but overall it's a five star for great stay. Our room is on another wing. It was quite a walk bc the hotel is big. Make sure you ask for hotel room on corridor near the main lobby elevator. Unless, one prefers a walk to burn some calories off.
"A great hotel in a great location!"
This hotel is beautiful! Our room was clean and comfortable. The Shuttle to Busch Gardens and back was very much appreciated and well worth the $5 instead of paying a parking fee. The breakfast buffet was fresh and plentiful! Dinner in Pitchers was very good, reasonably priced. Staff from check in to check out were all super friendly.
"Last minute stay"
After a day at Busch Gardens with our 3 kids. I was too tired to make the 3 hour drive home. This hotel was perfect. We booked it on my iPhone and drove right over ( 5min from Busch Gardens). We had a great rate for one night. Nice clean, lobby , staffed and welcoming front desk . Our room with two Double beds was "modern -chic". Had a pleasant urban, tailored , clean look . Our kids thought the beds were the " best they ever slept in ". I agree that the beds were comfy.. Warm down comforters . Bathroom had plenty of towels and the all important hair dryer. We arrived Too late to eat dinner , ( kitchen closes at 11). But we had eaten elsewhere and hotel is located within 1 mile of plenty of fast food and chain options. The hotel is large and hosts conferences. So has a business center, a 7-11 style store/coffe cafe as well as a grille / spots bar and a resturant. And an indoor pool. Of all those we had the all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast in the morning in the resturant. This was well worth the money. 6.99 for kids! Had everything from make your own omelette... eggs any way, pancakes, cereals , pastries, breads , fruit bar yogurt, juices. Etc. something for everyone. My favorite part of all of this was the super friendly wait staff at the breakfast. Our waitress was so so nice and friendly and doted on our kids in a very sweet southern manner. The cook replenishing the buffet was all smiles and friendly. I highly recommend this hotel
"Pleasant Experience Close to Busch Gardens"
We made a short trip to Williamsburg as part of a larger trip to the D.C. area. The Doubletree was a great hotel choice. Getting in on an early Wednesday flight, we checked in before our room was ready, but they were happy to hold our luggage while we went to the park. They run a very useful shuttle to Busch Gardens, but it was a bummer that they charged $5 a person and that the schedule didn't seem to match demand, especially on a weekday. We had to wait about 20 minutes from the time we booked the shuttle to when we got on. That being said, we were able to call the shuttle when we were ready to be picked up in the evening and that driver was there within minutes. When we went back to the front desk to get our key, it felt like we were checking in again, and they hadn't taken our luggage up to the room, which seemed odd. They also offer each guest a cookie, but unfortunately, it was made with milk & eggs, so I couldn't eat it. Might be a good idea to change the recipe, but that's a very specific personal issue. We also ordered room service and I have to say it was the best PB&J I've ever had! So top notch food from the kitchen in my opinion. The only other weird issue is that they don't have a snack vending machine on any of the floors. They do have a food market, but I'd rather have it close to my room. Keeping in mind all of the small negatives, the Doubletree is still a really great place for a short stay when you're going to Busch Gardens.
"Excellent Stay at Williamsburg"
We chose the DoubleTree because of its quiet location and close proximity to Colonial Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. Upon arrival we were greeted with a warm cookie, and a bag with snacks and water in it as a thank you for being an HHoners member. Our two bedded room was clean, spacious, and very modern with newer furniture, and new carpet. The bathroom while very small was clean and always well stocked with towels and shampoo. Contrary to other reviews and photos the bathroom had new light fixtures and were not rusty like the ones shown in the pictures. The beds were comfortable and had supportive pillows. We got the Family Fun package which included Premium WiFi and free breakfast, which was buffet style, and included made to order eggs, omletes and waffles, along with pastries, fruit, bacon, pancakes, potatoes, grits, and sausage, which all were very good.
"A fantastic weekend"
Conveniently located near the attractions. The room was impeccably clean with all the usual amenities. Well decorated with modern furniture and a comfortable King size bed. Entertainment in the hotel was great. There was a comedy show and a DJ with Karaoke. Within a short walk or drive there's a great selection of restaurants. Breakfast is unbeatable, with a cook on site to prepare your eggs to order. A very enjoyable weekend in a great hotel.
"Hotel stay close to Busch Gardens"
Stayed at hotel for Softball tournament, hotel was able to accomodate the whole team. Great location for Busch Garden and Colonial Williamsburg. Saturday all you can eat prime rib dinner buffet was great and we were able to have a very large party.
"Very understanding of expensive food left in refrigerator"
We just returned from staying at the Doubletree and inadvertently left some expensive food in the refrigerator that was to be used on our vacation. They were so gracious in reducing our bill to take the cost the food off of our bill. The hotel is beautiful and the breakfast was wonderful. The staff was so responsive to our needs and we couldn't be happier with our stay.
