"little tips!"
Hi we booked this hotel as we were near to everything and able to walk at night to eat and look at shops ect, you will be able to do this from the enclave, be careful when booking as international drive is huge and some areas you are not near to the above, also many hotels don't have balconys we found it very clean ,I took mattrass protectors which the cleaners left on the beds, but that is a personal choice,,the pools were lovely and the feeling was very relaxed you were welcome to take a drink or snack around the pool, staff were all lovely and helpful transport was great you do not need a car from here to get around, taxis are cheap, are the buses are brilliant, you can walk to universal,20mins, massive car park, breakfast really good if you upgrade but basic if you dont, OK though, we took ours to our room and ate on the terrace which is huge and overlooked universal and Harry's castle! I took a few bits with me I would recommend,a couple of dishcloths, dishwasher tabs, freezer coolers for coolbag for parks, buy anything Disney like t-shirts flopflops ,caps, towels here just as nice. Some of the hotels you see when trawling through, when booking say they are near shops ect but they are not, or they are facing the i4, the confrerance centre area of international drive is the posher end, if you can Google earth it do so, so you will see how far you are from things. I found great tips for the parks on line and used them all, The hotel is perfect if you want to relax as I said very easy going and so obliging , we will consider for next trip ,overall had no problems and all had a fantastic time.
"This is my kind of hotel! Best kept secret in Orlando."
I love this place. If you like to travel and not spend a fortune, this is for you. This hotel is right off of International parkway. So there are lots of dining and attractions within walking distance. There is a Pirate Dinner Theater right across the street. You can walk about a block and get the trolley that goes up and down international. No rental car needed. You can also get a shuttle to the theme parks for about $12 a person round trip. They have an indoor pool, hot tub, and weight room open 24 hrs. They also have an outside pool and hot tub. There is a Pizza Hut in the hotel. The breakfast is good and cooked daily. Each day they offer a little something different. You can add the breakfast for 3.99 a day per person. There is also an outside pool table, fooze ball, and ping pong tables. The security personel are visible, but not overly zealous. The staff is helpful and polite. They gave us an early check in because we were coming from another hotel. They also held our suitcases until we could check in. And they upgraded our room. The place is clean and well maintained. Most of the clientel seemed to be from Europe. This is an older hotel. That being said, there are some differences between this one and the ones built later. With this hotel, you can get rooms that have outside terraces. All of the hotels around it that were built later do not have them. The Wi-Fi works great in all areas including the outside pool area. The room we had was the top penthouse. There was one room with a queen sized bed, a tv, and a bathroom with a stand up shower. The other bed room had two single beds, a tv, and a bathroom with a full tub and shower. The room between them had a tv, a pull out couch, a small stove and oven, a fridge, a toaster oven, a microwave, a dish washer (with soap), plates, glasses, cutlery, silverwear, and a dining table with 4 chairs. The terrace had a table with an umbrella, 4 chairs, and two chaise style chairs. We could see the fireworks every night from Universal Studios. I am torn writing this review. I want the hotel to be successful and do wonderful business. But I want to be able to get a room when I go there. So, if you are looking for a 5 star hotel with laundry service and you don't care about spending a wad of money, look elsewhere. But if you want the best place for the money, and to be able to walk around town and get the trolley, and have your own kitchen to cook food, plus a pool, hot tub, and weight room open 24 hrs, this is the hotel for you.
"GREAT HOTEL SUITES"
Just returned from a two week stay at the Enclave Suites Florida and would recommend this accommodation. The staffs friendliness and helpfulness was excellent and the comfort, location and services offered were of a high standard. I was very apprehensive after reading some of the reviews but on arrival these were quickly put to rest as our suite was very nice. We were on the 5th floor overlooking the fun park which was comfortable as the sun did not beat down on the balcony. This would have made the apartment too hot and as the aircon was noisy when running we were able to cope without it at night as we ran it while out during the day and we then had a cool suite to return too. Ideal central hotel just of International Drive perfect reach for all parks, restaurants and iride trolley which took us to the outlets which are situated at each end of International Drive at a cost of 18 dollars for 14 days on and off as much as you like.
"Our vow renewal made perfect by everyone at The Enclave"
We stayed at The Enclave Suites for 3 weeks in August-September. We were a big family of 12, we have nothing but good things to say about this hotel and all of the staff within. For starters when we arrived, we were all lucky enough to have rather large rooms (2bedroom apartments), with nice big Balconies over looking the lake and Wet n Wild. We were located in the second block which was perfect. We arranged to have our wedding vows renewed at the Enclave, on our 25th wedding anniversary, which was done in the gazebo over looking the lake. This was the first time that Hannah (who is the guest service manager) had arranged or performed anything like this at this hotel before. The ceremony was absolutely perfect, Hannah had arranged for all of the flowers, cake, champagne and decorations of the gazebo to be done on this special day, and all we can say is it was unforgettable. Hannah actually performed this service herself, after being ordained, she put all her heart and effort into the ceremony, as if we were her own family. We were extremely overwhelmed by her passion during the whole service. We will treasure these memories forever. Going back to the hotel itself, it is situated just off international drive, right opposite TGI Fridays. It is perfect location for walking to restaurants and gift shops, and Wet N Wild. On site amenities were good, also the souvenir cups were brilliant for $15 and for as many refills for the duration of the stay, especially with kids/teenagers. All the staff at The Enclave were friendly and welcoming, especially our lovely new friend Burnette, who is as nutty as a fruitcake, but an absolutely lovely, funny lady. All in all The Enclave Suites made our holiday more magical.
"So special"
We enjoy are our stay at the Enclave. So wonderful staff, especially in the pizza hut area.Special mention to fantastic girls Jackie,Yamilet. Thanks for making our stay one amazing.Next year will be there again.
"Love it"
Great place. ..great folks. ..good time had by all. Everything and everyone was just super. All the staff was wonderful in the Pizza Hut. Could not ask for anything without getting a smile from everyone
"Loved this hotel"
We returned last Sunday after staying in the Enclave for a week, myself my husband & 3 grown up kids. This apartment ticked all the boxes for us, there was more than enough space for 5 adults, the aircon was perfect & balcony a rare thing on International Drive. I have to be honest you don't spend all that money & travel 1/2 way round the world to sit in your room but these apartments are a perfect base to go back to after a long day, beds are very comfy, towels & bedding changed regularly & in an ideal location. The pools are handy if you do get chance to relax & never over crowded. I was a little confused about breakfast after reading mixed reviews but the explanation is there are two areas where breakfast is taken, one being for Virgin guests only. I can't speak for these people as we traveled with Thomas Cook but our breakfast comprised of toast, cakes, pastries, fresh fruit & hot & cold drinks. I think this was a nice touch as other hotels don't offer any complimentary breakfast at all. Reception were fast & efficient at both check in & out which were the only time we needed to use them apart from taxis. There are some fantastic places to eat within walking distance, especially Chillies & although I can't find it on trip advisor was our favourite place to eat. Universal is walking distance from Enclave (wet & wild is even closer) but taxis are very reasonable & it's sometimes more convenient, any questions feel free to ask
"florida holiday"
my family spent 2 weeks at the enclave hotel & suites in august(19/08/14). we travel with virgin and all I can say was what a great holiday. the hotel is 3 star but the staff made feel like a 5 star what a fantastic place. Great staff nice pools and very well placed in the middle of international drive. this is the second time we have stayed at this hotel and they have never let us down we are looking to go again in a couple of years. love it
"Enclave is Orlando's best hotel away from home"
The hotel was very clean and the staff provided excellent customer service. This was our first visit and we will return again in the future. The hotel was very crowded which indicates it's a great place to stay.
"good enough for me"
Stayed at the Enclave end of august and I have no complaints. It was clean, quite and the staff were lovely especially Maria who was adorable and Enrique (great omelette maker!) .Both had big smiles whenever we saw them and i love that. Pools were clean and the gym was great.Pizza hut on site was perfect and a little too handy.Maybe the only thing to make it better would be a bar area to get together with new friends to relax in the evening
"not too bad"
Good location needs a bit of an update room could be cleaned more often The reception are eager to help when possible. We were delighted to be given a free breakfast upgrade. Rooms are okay but need updated desperately. Sofa bed is terrible, uncomfortable and impossible to sleep on. Not enough cutlery, family of five had 3 forks, knives, spoons etc to share. Cleaners didn't come round enough, 4 times in 2 weeks and bedclothes only changed once. Breakfast staff really pleasant.
"great stay"
stayed in the enclave 28th of july for 2 weeks , was not sure after reading other reviews but i must say it was fab. really enjoyed our time there the staff were great. our apartment was lovely and clean .we were there a week when a knock on our door and it was the manager , it was funny as my son thought we were in trouble.the lady explained why she was there , the last guest had left something in the safe and we had not even noticed . they were so nice and friendly even gave us a late check out when leaving . we are heading back again in oct for 2 weeks and cant wait have booked to stay in the enclave again .
"Brilliant Holiday"
We stayed here for 2 weeks August-September. As already said on here we were extremely nervous about staying here. We didn't need to be. We had a studio room with a fabulous balcony overlooking the lake and Wet and Wild. We were in building 2, yes the corridors could do with a lick of paint but we weren't there to look at the decor. We wanted somewhere clean and comfortable and that is what we had. The location as previously said was fantastic all the staff we saw were friendly and helpful. We didn't use the free breakfast or the Pizza Hut so cannot comment on those, our daughter loved the pool both inside and out. The free WiFi was brilliant.
"Family holiday"
Perfect location for visiting the attractions with plenty of room for parking on site. The room was great with comfortable beds and a great kitchen area with a large fridge. We travelled with 2 teenagers and had plenty of room. The pools were always clean and there was plenty of sun loungers, tables and chairs available. All the staff were friendly and the complementary breakfast was most welcome on more than one occasion (nice coffee) All in all we had a great visit and would use this hotel again without hesitation.
"Happy holiday"
Like many other reviewers we as a group were a little apprehensive with our booking, however upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised. From a smooth check-in which was polite and courteous (as always in Florida), to all general requests. The room itself yes it may look a little dated but all of the ammenities needed were present. Large fridge freezer to keep your drinks cold to cooking & cleaning facilities. Nice small balcony to dry clothes or to the late afternoon storms. Bed whilst comfortable was a little on the noisy side when turning. Small little touches to make a more modern feel, metal finish light switches, get rid of the border from the wall decor and change the taps in the bathroom and shower. Would I stay here yes I certainly would without hesitation, location ideal for iDrive, restaurants, universal and if you want to take the Green or Red line iTrolley. No negatives just minor gripes about the decor, would I recommend? Yes I would.

Would I stay here yes I certainly would without hesitation, location ideal for iDrive, restaurants, universal and if you want to take the Green or Red line iTrolley.
"Room with a great view"
We stayed here for our second week of holiday..ready for universal studios, seaworld etc...We had a very good room with a view pool side ..being able to see rollcoasters in the distance..along with Hogwarts castle...wonderful..but my sister had a room the otherside looking out on to the car park and was not happy with it..O' well this being my review..we were happy with ours..so therefore it is a bit of plot luck!!! breakfast good selection with a waitress who told us she had been their 20Yrs was the life and soul...Burnette...well Done to you for making people such as ourselves welcome....not forgetting Susan who was too very helpful in the Shop...thankyou girls you are doing a good job ..keep it up...this being block two...over all would stay again in the same room..good location..first week spent in Disney which sorry you can not beat..here..here..for adventure holidays..
"Best palce to stay"
Near parks and variety of dining options, the Pizza Hut on site serves a great menu, not just pizza, their salads are a great value, too. Breakfast had a lot of choices. The employees go out of their way to make sure you are happy.
"Great location"
Fantastic stay at the Enclave Suites, this was our second stay here. It was perfect for what we needed. The location being the biggest and best part of this accommodation. The rooms were spacious and clean with great facilities. The communal areas were kept clean and tidy. We liked having the choice of when our room was cleaned and had fresh towels each day!!
"Excellent place, some rooms outdated but overall, just a great place to stay"
I love this place. Home away from home. Very clean. The staff is unbelievable. Lorena and Vera are fantastic managers. I appreciate how they take care of their customers. Some of the rooms are outdated, but in general it is a clean, safe place to stay while in Orlando. 3 pools, restaurant on site, I- drive within 2 minutes, perfect location, plus balconies and a view of the lake!
"Excellent Holiday"
We stayed at the Enclave Suites on the 14th August 2014 for 3 weeks, we had a 2 bedroom terrace apartment and the views over looking Wet & Wild was amazing. The staff was very helpful especially Hannah who organised my brother,s renewal of their wedding vows in the gazebo next to the lake which was a first for the Enclaves Suites it was beautiful. All the staff at the Enclaves was so polite especially Burnett who was so funny and made our stay more enjoyable. Looking forward to coming in the future.
"First Time at the Enclave Suites"
The hotel is in an excellent location with lots of restaurants etc within walking distance. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. The rooms could do with updating but apart from that they were clean and tidy, lots of fresh towels and hot water. I would definitely stay here again.
"Friendly staff and central location"
We visited the Enclave Hotel late June early July 2014 as a family of five, we were very happy with the very central location and the staff were very nice especially at breakfast Burnett is very entertaining along with Susan and Jackie both lovely, helpful ladies. Our apartment was basic but clean, the only complaint we had was our sofa bed was uncomfortable and reception organised a matress that day to go on top which saved an argument with tired kids. I would recommend this hotel and location to anyone travelling to Orlando.

"lovely place to stay in orlando"
I have visited orlando 8 times and have stayed in the enclave suits 3 times would highly recomend this hotel.Staff are all friendly and will do anything to help with anything if you need it .Found the enclave to be clean and convienant for all attractions with wet and wild just around corner ,tgi fridays, and pondarossa close by.When we were here last it included free breakfast as we flew with virgin, breakfast every morning was greated with a warm and fiendly welcome by a lady called kelly it was a pleasure to be greated every morning with a smile .
"Fantastic Stay"
We were a bit apprehensive about staying here after reading the some of the previous reviews on here, but I would take them with a pinch of salt, Your holiday is what you make it.!!! We had a two bedroomed suite with two bathrooms and it was clean, plenty of space and perfect as a base when exploring Orlando. The staff were all friendly and helpful and answered any queries with a smile nothing was to much trouble. Scott on the universal desk was very helpful as well, The breakfast staff were great and always greeted us with a smile and a good morning, (as did any other staff that we encountered) The hotel is situated just back off International Drive and this makes it easy to get anywhere you want, We stayed in block 2 and it was lovely and quiet, we overlooked the lake, wet and wild and universal. I would recommend this to family and friends and look forward to staying with you again
