"Some people you just can't please"
My family and i stayed for 4 days. We absolutely loved it! Great courteous staff and very clean room. The room was very clean and well stocked with all your needed supplies like towels and such and if you needed to cook all the dishes were there for your use. The location is great to walk to the strip ,not far at all. Pancake house almost right across the street. I was kinda nervous about the room because of the other reviews. Im not sure what room they stayed in but ours was awesome! We loved and will stay here again! The only downside is the parking garage, the spots are really tight but that is the only complaint i have.

    "Great Location!"
I was so afraid of how this room would look based on the other reviews but I was blessed! There were 12 of us and we had 2 - 2Br units for a week stay. There was more than enough space. The lockout unit is considered the 2nd bedroom & it had a fridge in that room and a nice bathroom. The livingroom had the thickest most comfy mattress I've ever seen on a pull-out couch. The outside pool is small but my kids didn't care. It rained one day and they also used the indoor pool. The staff was extremely friendly. The location was great! the 3 teens in our group could walk out at night to the strip which was quite lively until 11pm. You could catch the Trolley to Dollywood or Splash Country which we visited for 3 days. We really enjoyed our stay.
    "Summer vacation"
My family and I have stayed here twice and we enjoyed each stay. We were close to a lot of attractions and shopping; everything within walking distance. The nights sitting out on the balcony w as thing the full moon rise was amazing, too
    "Great place to stay."
Stayed week of June 6th. Had a one bedroom unit on the fourth floor. Great setup. Very well stocked. Nice kitchen with stove, refrigerator, washer/dryer. Bedroom had a hot tub. Great feature. We had a unit on the creek side so you you hear the water running and the birds chirping in the morning. Very peaceful. We did not use the facilities - pool - exercise room - but they looked well maintained. There was construction going on but did not disturb our vacation. The garage is very tight to maneuver but at least you have underground parking. Not on the main strip but within walking distance which is a plus. Would definitely recommend. Right close to the entrance of the Smokey Mountains.
    "Location was perfect"
Family reunion was the purpose if travel, we rented 2 of the 2 bedroom condos, there was plenty of space for all 6 adults and 2 toddlers. Pools were great and heated, they were quite so we were not worried about taking the little ones to the water, most times we had the pool or hot tub to our selves. They were making upgrades to many ares while we were there, however it didn't feel like a construction zone, in fact the units were surprisingly quite! We walked every where since we were literally 3 blocks from down town. There was so much to do and very family friendly! I suggest the aquarium and hike to Laural falls while you are there! I would stay here again.
    "Good location"
This is a time share resort. We have stayed twice in the rear building overlooking the creek which is update with granite, new floors, furniture, etc. This visit was because we received an offer for a 3 night stay if we agreed to attend a sales presentation. We were shown the same room we were staying in. I did find out, however, that all three buildings are completely different, built at different times, and owned by different companies. The resort has an outdoor heated pool, new hot tub and heated indoor pool. There is a kids playground and stuff to do. Located a two block walk from the main street you never have to drive to have a meal or a cocktail. The park is just up the road. Very nice resort and would stay again.
    "Gatlinburg Town Square Resort"
Very nice. Had a 3 bedroom unit with friends twice and was satisfied both times. Very clean and staff was friendly and helpful. We were unable to use the pool as it was fall both times and too cold. It would be great if you had an indoor pool and hot tub/sauna.
    "Birthday Week"
Had a 3 bedroom condo for a week. Family time with siblings and a nephew and a sister-in-law. The weather turned extremely cold and we had a beautiful snow that turned everything into a winter wonderland. The only draw back was the slippery sidewalks at the condo. I slipped twice going to the parking garage. The condo was on the top floor and was on the very end so it was quite. There were a lot of kids staying here over the weekend but our condo was away from the noise. We had plenty of room and this is in a good location to walk down the hill into Gatlinburg where the eating and shops are.
    "Town Square"
This resort is older, but overall the location and convenience is worth it. It is on one of the main streets in Gatlinburg, within walking distance of the downtown main street. Easily walk to numerous restaurants, gift shops, and amusement facilities. The staff at GTS were very nice and since we were there when temperatures dropped below 0, they were good at keeping the facility well maintained.
    "Anniversary and Family time"
We have stayed here several different times once with family and other times with my husband. Location is very close to all attractions. We have stayed in several different rooms, I prefer the rooms with the balcony and creek. Overall we will stay again and again. Very nice place to stay and great location.
"Very nice place and great location"
We were very pleased with the room at Gatlinburg Town Square. The room was large, clean, and nicely furnished. We would recommend this place and will stay there again. It was very close to all the local attractions
    "Great Resort to stay at!"
I have been going to this resort since I was an infant and they have made many changes in the positive direction since then. The rooms have always been great and we have had no problem with them! The service wasn't always the best though, and they didn't have many activities for kids, but now they have a great service and Ping pong, basketball, bingo and rubber duck races for kids! It is an excellent resort with clean and relaxing pools and many activities for all ages! I recommend this resort for anyone looking to stay in the downtown Gatlinburg area!
    "A Nice Place"
We shared a 2 bedroom lockout with our in-laws for a few days. The room was very nicely appointed with everything anyone would need to spend a week there. In the lock-out unit the connecting door between the units would not stay open unless braced with one of the chairs from the kitchen set. The staff was prompt when called to fix a non-operational fireplace. The only thing that seemed poorly planned was the fact that you had to check in at a building down the road and then go back to the resort. Overall a very nice property.

    "Great Family Resort"
We purchased our stay through a vacation website. We didn't expect a lot but we were pleasantly surprised. We stayed in room 512A which is facing a beautiful creek and heavily wooded. One night a black bear came out for a visit and another night was a raccoon. Very exciting. This resort has an underground parking garage, indoor and outdoor pool, hot tub outside. Our room had a jacuzzi tub in the bedroom which was wonderful. Private balconies, fireplace, grills, and you can purchase any activity/show tickets in the front office. The whole place is set only about two blocks from all the shops and restaurants downtown. Across the street is a pancake house with good food.
    "Good location in Gatlinburg"
We were staying here through timeshare points so it was a free stay for us with a small housekeeping fee. It would not have been our first choice of hotels, but it served our purposes. Staff responded promptly to a concern about our room door sticking. The outdoor pool was not open yet, but the indoor pool was very warm. It is an easy walk to the main strip while being away from the hustle and bustle of everything. Family friendy with activities planned.
"Quiet Place Just Off The Parkway"
I stayed at Gatlinburg Town Square Resort for a girls trip during the off season (March 2013. It was very quiet at night and just a few blocks off the parkway. We had a two bedroom condo with two baths and a full kitchen. The room was clean when we got there and we had no complaints with staff. During our stay we met several of the resort workers and they were as kind and helpful as people can be. The resort offered a free dinner on the Sunday night which was also nice. This isn't a five star place but it's a nice place conveniently located near downtown Gatlinburg just 3 miles from the Smoky Mountain National Park.
    "Grand time........"
We visited the resort the first week of December 2012 and had a wonderful time.....the place was lovely and staff friendly. We had a two bedroom/2 bath condo and it was so nice and very clean. When you passed some of the staff, they always spoke and smiled. If we had questions, they were quick to help. If there was a downside, it would be parking.....most parking is in a under ground parking lot and was very tight parking. However, there was always plenty of parking available. Each morning, we could just walk across the street to the wonderful Log Cabin Pancake House. They serve anything you would want for breakfast and lunch.........the atmosphere is rustic and very welcoming........ We will definitely stay at Gatlinburg Town Square again......
    "Best value in the smokies"
I stayed with GTS 28 Dec thru 4 Jan 13. We had a one bedroom condo. The furnishings are as nice as I have had in the 15+ yrs of spending New Years in The Smokies. Our condo had a creek outside by the balcony and a mountain view. The fireplace was going as we arrived and the snow was falling outside our glass balcony doors.....a winter wonderland. The bed was comfy and everything was clean and very comfortable. I booked this condo thru AFVC and will do my best to book it again for next year as soon as possible. I don't know where these other people are staying, but this condo exceeded my expectations. The indoor pool was great for our grandchildren and the location by the strip was awesome.
