Love this hotel and location, been there 11 times now and every time is just as good! The location is near to the beach, walk able to Americas even Cristianos if your energetic! We personally have never hired a car never felt the need to, there is a free bus to the water park and as I say the beach area is near. Some rooms in the hotel have been refurbished which are very nice its not the poshest Hotel but value for money it definitely is and very clean everywhere . The staff bend over back wards for you and work 24/7 cleaning and organizing, the food in the restaurant is exceptional continuously re stocked very fresh and a selection to die for. All staff are friendly and if you have any issue such as you don't like the location of room or want a double bed extra towels or anything they do their best to sort it very quickly with no issue. I have often read bad reviews on here about the hotel, and one person even complained about the weather which i am sure is out of their control. We have just returned this week 26th feb 2015 the weather was hot got burnt the 1st day and it seemed it was getting hotter by the day. We took friends with us this trip and they loved it, everything about it, they will definitely return there too and have raved about it ever since to everyone. Sallie Mabry

    1st time at this hotel, found no faults reception were great ,staff were great all over in the hotel ,Animation staff were fantastic and very entertaining, would go back again,found it great value for money, much to chose from on all meal times

    We have just returned from a weeks holiday and are already looking at another holiday here later in the year. The hotel is very clean and friendly and the staff are all very polite and helpfull. The food was excellent and the menu extensive with dishes to suit everyone. The location is just a 5 min walk from the beach and many bars/restaurants.
    "Better than we thought it would be"
    I booked to stay here all inclusive with a friend, but having read the reviews we were a bit concerned! We got off to a bad start when we arrived to find our room was extremely shabby and stank appallingly of drains and sewers. However, after a visit to reception we were informed they were having problems with the drains in that block and we were moved to another room which was absolutely fine. The decor was maybe a little tired, but we weren't really worried about that - a minor detail. The room was quiet and conveniently located for the heated pool. The staff were very helpful and service was good, the food was excellent and we wanted for nothing on the All Inclusive package. It was my birthday while I was there and the hotel provided a bottle of bubbly and a small cake for us, which was a nice touch. Heated pool was lovely and the weather was great too, a definite bonus! We would certainly go back to Isla Bonita, we had a great holiday there.

    "not as bad as we thought"
    Myself and my husband stayed here for the week in February with 2 of our children, as my husbands mother lives in Tenerife and was getting married. Having read mixed reviews on here we were a little worried, but when we arrived our worries were eased. Check in was a little slow however the people on reception were very helpful and friendly. They do ask for a 60 euro deposit just in case you wreck your room etc but you do get that back when you check out. After reading some reviews of people complaining about the state of their rooms we were surprised that ours (A104) was clean and spacious and also looked out onto the heated pool. We stayed all inclusive and we always found something we liked. Two of us are fussy eaters but we always found something. There was also always fresh salad etc. There were also a selection of desserts, ice creams and cake etc. The staff here are fab!! They were always helpful and friendly. The hotel does have a kids club however we only went a few times as we spent most of our time at night with my husbands mother and other family, however my son loved the time we did spend there. Overall the week we spent here was great and we would go back again and are looking to go back again in the next few months.

    We stayed here all inclusive for a week in March 2015 and thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The food and drinks were excellent and the choice was extensive to say the least. Two outdoor pools both very clean and lots of sun loungers available.

    Just returned from Isla bonita and already booked to return. Rooms were clean and a good size, food was always fresh and plenty of variety. The heated pool was lovely just like getting in a bath! Great all round hotel catering for hotels and families . The life guard by the heated pool was very helpful and would assist you if no sun lounges left! This was often due to people reserving them and not using them!

    I stayed at this hotel in November 2014 and I enjoyed it that much I'm going again the same time this year. The animacion team are second to none, great entertainers, getting the guests involved if they want to be involved and making everyone feel welcome. The staff were very friendly and helpful, always a smile and no unhappy faces. The rooms are very clean and cleaned regularly. I still had a great holiday which is why I'm going back.

    good value for money in a good location. Buffet style for meals and good choices. pool was properly heated and a pleasure to use. lots here for children and those that want to be involved. Oppositely, if you want quiet, then that also can be achieved. Staff are helpful and courteous. Location is excellent for beach and alternative restaurants. Local bus stops outside for those wishing to explore cheaply. Would definitely recommend this accomodation as good value for money and a good standard.

    Had a Great week at the isla bonita had. Room next door to my sister as requested the only thing was the bathroom was a bit smelly for a few days and the noise from the road at night we were in room A 337 I didn't complain as I didn't want to move from my sister and we were not in the room for long as the entertainment was great for the kids the choice of food every day was good.I will return with the children but would ask for a refurbished room next time.All the staff were great.

    Hi cant wait to go back to Isla Bonita hotel in april,been here six times over the years. staff cant do enough for you,and I love the fact you have a separate bedroom and sitting room area,plenty of choice for food even for salads and desserts.We are always lucky enough to get a pool view room.so fingers crossed for april.Beach just a ten minuet walk away,and weekly market just across road,so great for every where.

    The Isla Bonita Hotel is situated in Costa Adeje and is approximately 3/4of a mile from the beach. The hotel on 1st arriving was impressive and didn't disappoint to much during our 10 day visit. There are 2 pools or either side of the main building. 1 heated the other not so in February it's better to try and get near the heated one even though it didn't get much sun early in the day. The restaurant had a good variety of foods on offer and cooked to a good standard. The snack bars were ok but nothing to write home about. There is BBQ night that you have too book to attend that had some good food. The hotel shop had a good variety of things and prices were pretty good. There's quite a few bars. 2 self service bars 1 by each pool (lager, soft drinks, coffee machine, various juices and water). Then the main bar on the main concourse with a pretty good free drinks list ( non free drinks not to pricey either I.e. Magners 3). Then there's the downstairs bar open in the evening where the entertainment was when we were there but will probably be on main concourse later in the year. The entertainment was so so. Not putting it down as some of the shows were good (parrot show, Michael Jackson tribute) but most shows audience participation which are the same world over. The biggest problem with holding the shows downstairs was that there was loads of pillars so view was always getting blocked unless you went there early and got to the front. The activity guys were brilliant, always a few things happening so if you didn't like 1 thing then you could do another. Pool, darts, archery, pistol and rifle shooting, tennis, boules, table tennis etc.

    Great PR girls, Kitty and Jana, who were very helpful and friendly. Fast and efficient and nothing too much trouble. Accommodating staff, good food and spacious rooms. Would stay again and recommend to friends.

    Just back from here after two weeks with 2 kids every thing was perfect the staff were all polite and helpful we were in a ground floor room and was very clean I know there is people moaning the rooms are dated don't no what they were expecting for the money they were clean and cleaners in every day only thing the wife would of liked a bit more storage for clothes I think she should of taken less The food was was good plenty of choice leaning more to fish but always a choice of other meats food was all freshly cooked good salads etc for the amount of people they are catering for they do a top job chefs and waiters ,waitress very friendly work hard and do a great job any one who moans about the food should get a life and stop eating in KFC The pool area was clean with bars heated pool was very warm great for kids , you do have to move round with the sun if you like basking but could get sun most of the day if you want to frazzle yourself all day the beach is only 5 min walk The bar staff worked hard and the drinks were ok beer was good the all inc drinks stop at 11 pm but it tells you that on the tin and you always want that one for the road Animation team worked hard and put some great shows on at night we were with our 2 kids and they loved it and liked the kids club Overall very good and would go back no prob This hotel does not deserve the bad feed back that some people leave but they are probably the sort that claim if they trip on there shadow

    been Tenerife 3 times now and this hotel been best yet. great food.. loads of space friendly staff good 2 pools 1 heated.. great place for kids good size play room and shallow infant pool .park ..,only down fall was sauna was not working /usable hopefully fixed for our next trip, rooms were ok cleaned daily free wifi , good entertainment ,good choice of food and drink

    celebrated my hen party here last week. 5 days was not long enough, rooms were cleaned 4 of the days, staff were flawless, drinks & food were fantastic!! Will Defo be returning. Excellent value for money.

    Had a brilliant holiday. Stayed at The Isla Bonita for 9 Nights. Food Was layed out very well and was nice every time. Plenty of food and plenty of choice. Our bedroom was in the shade all day and all night but this didnt bother us as we were hardly in our room other then to sleep. The activities all day are great for all ages. Not far from Beach. Animation Team work very hard and put on some brilliant Shows in the evening. My 3 year old daughter couldnt have been happier. Loved Mini Disco. and she loved the Kids Pool. You definatly get what you pay for.

    Just returned from an 8 night stay After reading other reviews was worried! Arrived and were given an immediate upgrade to a superior suite Was adequate for our needs, did overlook the car park!!! Hopefully when we return next Feb we have a suite overlooking the pool x Staff were helpful and animation team work their backsides off to keep u entertained x Was my birthday during our stay, we didn't tell anyone but was surprised to find bottle of fizz and a cake in our fridge x Weather was fab and really sunny and hot for our stay Despite being all inclusive we ate out every evening, fab restaurants overlooking the ocean, with great quality food, fillet steaks and drinks 4 two adults circa 45 euros We paid 800 pounds for hols, including flights (230 pounds) Cava on tap, help yourself beer and great weather We saw no bugs, rooms were clean and adequate with maid in everyday To conclude this was a fab break and we got what we paid for!! Only tip I would give is to pay extra 4 a taxi or private transfer as you are virtually last on the shared shuttle drop off and first pick up on way back. We were 3 hours on a coach from airport and 2 hours back!!! See u next year x

    Just got back from a week at the isla bonita had a great time every thing was fine from reception area who were efficient all the staff from maids waiters in restaurants the bar staff animation team were excellent.food was good plenty of variety bars were great nice to have real glasses not plastic ,rooms were basic but very clean ,clean bedding and towels each day .THANKS for a great holiday.

    We stayed for a week in February, very basic 70s style 2* hotel, very clean, hotel staff friendly, rooms large, shower hot and powerful! Food amazing loads of choice, delicious, drinks local and strong! Sunbeds few and far between so it's a towel craze before 9am, location 7 min walk to beach and restaurants! Did not see any of evening entertainment, but book swop handy in reception : ) would stay again if on a budget, you pay for what you get so don't expect the ritz on a shoe string.
    "Much better than we expected"
    We spent 4 nights at this hotel from 20th February and having read the reviews we were dreading it. We had looked at swooping hotels but couldn't find anything in same resort for the price we paid. It was by far nowhere near as bad as we expected. We did pay for pool view rooms as most bad reviews were for basement ones and were given 4 twin rooms on ground floor of a block. Rooms were like apartments with seperate living area to bedrooms, screened off kitchen and hallway between bedroom and bath room. Balcony was accessible from both lounge and bedroom. All spotlessly clean and only negative comment is that bathroom was a bit dates but to be honest the shower was the most powerful I've had in any hotel and made the decor insignificant. All inclusive bar is local spirits only but hardly ever a queue as limited to two alcohol drinks per person at a time. All inclusive buffets were really well stocked with plenty of choice everyday and food cooked to order at all sittings. Entertainment finishes about 11.30 which was only downside as would have liked a late night disco but we went out when it closed and found Harley's an American rock diner which did the best cocktails ever! Entertainment was interesting! Mexican night was hilarious but not sure it was meant to be and the soul singer we heard hadn't learnt his words but we helped him out. Main poolsdidn't get a lot of sun which was a shame as we felt we chased the sun with our beds which may be a problem when it us really busy. Staff were very helpful and checkin and checkout were simple. Nothing was a problem and I'd recommend this hotel to everyone

    Me & my husband Mark came here twice this was our second time & we are going back again in 5 weeks time in April - the only 2 things wrong with our stays here are the that we was put in a room with a MAIN ROAD VIEW & the second floor which our door opened overlooking the entertainment & bar area so the noise from that if i wanted an early-ish night i could not sleep - Those was our only issues - Who cares what colour the building is or if the flowers hadn't blossomed - some of you may as complain that the birds wasn't singing loud enough .. honestly .. this hotel for the service you get off the maids every day and the staff bend over backwards to make sure its the best possible stay.. what more can you ask of the price you have paid.. if its a top rated hotel you want did you really expect it to be this cheap ... really !! The food is always excellent choice .. we always do the all inc here because of its standards and trust me i've stayed in a lot worse places ... Yes you do get kids running around and splashing in the pools making some noise - its called kids enjoying them selves.. just what you expect from kids on their holidays .. so anyone who should moan about kids are just grumpy old mares and if its quiet you want then maybe go to beach where the noise is drowned out..or the LIBRARY to read your book :-! This hotel is a little dated - BUT..... as you have probably read already that the hotel is having a make over and we all know ROME WAS NOT BUILT IN A DAY .. this is gonna take some years to get through all them rooms.. and as i stated your holiday was cheap and your room is only a base at the end of the day.. This hotel is in an excellent spot - only 5/10 mins walk to almost everything.. Any way that's enough from me ... hope this review has helped making your decision to book it.. as for me .. i simply can't wait for April to go back to the Isla Bonita - i've already packed & counting the days lol ..
