"Location, Location, Location and Comfort"
As a frequent traveler, i stayed in many of the IHG hotels worldwide. Hence, why i have certain high expectations. This Holiday Inn has a spectacular location overlooking San Antonio Riverwalk. It was right passed the holiday season but still the downtown and Riverwalk view was breath-taking. I like the lobby, the drive thru ramp which give you access to parking, i also like the restaurant in the first floor, and the coffee shop at the lobby area. As an IHG Platinum member I got an upgrade to a suite on the top floors and the view from balcony is awesome. The hotel staff are courteous, the room was beyond clean & comfortable, the breakfast was very nice.
"Great location to see a great city"
The hotel is almost 20 minutes away from San Antonio airport. The hotel is located in a great location near almost everything you can ask for. Resuturants, shopping and arts. The San Antonio River Walk is right there, The Briscoe Wester Art Museum is not far from the hotel and many resturants choices near by. Of course the area around the hotel is not the safest but the hotel location is great to see and enjoy the city. Room was nice with wooden floor and has a mini fridge. The swimming pool is also nice during those hot summer days.

Was very unsure about the hotel because of the location. But as soon as I arrived for check in and was greeted by Susie S. She was absolutely amazing and professional and put my mind at ease. She was so helpful and answered all my questions I will absolutely stay at this hotel every time I am in town. Thank you again for the top notch professionalism
"Outstanding"
We were traveling with family we had a balcony room over looking the river walk . The Christmas lights were already up and it was simply breath taking below !! The trees were covered in light all Png the walk just simply beautiful. Friendly and helpful staff which is always a joy when your out of town . San Antonio is the place to be if you love culture so much to do and explore . What a city
"Super Weekend"
We just spent a great weekend . It started with dinner at the restaurant our servers Caitlyn and Cindy were excellent. It got very busy but they made sure we had everything we needed. Our breakfast was no different with Liz and Mario. The service was great and the food was so well prepared we ate most of our meals at the hotel. We made sure we sent kudos to Chef Angel, Aaron and Mike. My wife is in the hospitality business so we know how important a dedicated and professional staff is to the success of an operation.
"Weekend Getaway"
What a great hotel and staff. We arrived Friday evening and checked in to very nice room with a wonderful view of the Riverwalk and San Antonio skyline. The hotel is located in an excllent location that it was easy to get in some sightseeing, restaurants, and visit historic areas. We enjoyed our dinner so much on Friday that we decided to have all our meals at the hotel. They had llive music in the bar and we had a great time.

Amazing service from Cindy, even though she was super busy. Very Friendly and professional, and eager to serve! The bar and restaurant area was very busy and we continued to receive proper service.

This hotel is actually on the Riverwalk and you can access through the back door of the hotel. The only negative was the room noise. Looks like a recent remodel with no carpet so everything echos and is loud. If anyone moves next door or in the hall you will hear it :(
"Location!"
I feel confident booking at Holiday Inns as they have stepped up to the plate. I have not been disappointed in service, cleanliness or price. This location was perfect! The Riverwalk was a minute away and my son's graduation at Lackland Air Force Base was a simple 20 minutes.
"Great Location....Very helpful staff"
We were staying at a nearby hotel but not pleased....we were walking along Riverwalk and decided to come into this hotel. We were pleased with the lobby and modern look. Steven at the front desk was wonderful !!!!! He provided all sorts of information and helped make some reservations at the Holiday Inn. He has our vote for the Employee of the Month.
"Anniversary"
Loved this modern hotel. Welcomed from moment we walked in. They recognized me as a elite member and promptly told me I was upgraded to an executive suite. It was beautiful and Hugh. Elizabeth can to room to personally welcome me and had a special gift sent up for our anniversary. The hotel was perfect on the riverwalk. Not right in the busy section but with in several minutes. The back entrance made getting down to the river very quick. We had dinner in the onsite Restrant and food was perfect service was exceptional by our server Catlyn. She gave us hits to explore on the riverwalk. The pool area is small but with the heat there the pool felt great. We were given late checkout but did not use it as we had to be up and out early.
"Very Pleasant Surprise"
Our stay was fantastic. From the helpful staff, to the restaurant to the snack bar, to the rooms, to the onsite parking, this was a great stay. Also, the location in relation to the main loop of the Riverwalk is excellent. The only thing I would recommend is getting things squared away with the hardwood floors in the rooms....next time I will bring tube socks for walking around the room.
"Not your normal Holiday Inn"
I travel for work and IHG Brands work best for where I go. This being said normal Holiday Inn properties are fairly average. NOT this location. We were upgraded to a suite overlooking the riverwalk and the room was awesome. It had recently been updated and if you were placed in this room blindfolded you would have no way guessed it was a Holiday Inn!!
"Great find on Labor Day weekend"
Found what we thought was a great deal as we got to San Antonio for a weekend stay only to find a better deal at check-in and it was worth the money. Only issue was the air condition but they got Leo right on it and it was taken care of right away with no problem. Easy access to the Riverwalk - just a walk to the back and first night with a stroller we found out the hard way the best way to access the walkway was to take the elevator to garage level and voila you save yourself the hassle of figuring out how to get to the Riverwalk itself. The next night we were without a stroller and glad too since it was busy and there were alot of people walking along the Riverwalk. Pool was nice too as we had that and the hot tub to ourselves. Great breakfast too. Really, really enjoyed ourselves and would definitely book again!
"Restaurant...hidden gem"
Stayed one night. Ate at the gen of a restaurant. Aaron cooks a mean ribeye. Very tasty and juicy. The asparagus and red potatoes were perfectly seasoned. The bartender, Alex, was very friendly and attentive. Plus, he's a fantasy football guru. Do if you're into fantasy football, or you want to be, hanging out with Alex is a great investment. Alex, thanks for the pointers.
"Date Night!"
I wanted to have a romantic date night with my Boyfriend and Elizabeth at the front desk recommended your Beautiful restaurant that we ended up really enjoying. Upon arrival we were surprised with a beautiful set up by Cindy and Caitlynn. Rebecca, our server did such an amazing job too. I had a little message that I Wanted on our cheese cake desert and Jeremiah went above and beyond and made it happen that ended our night very special. I just want to say thank you to everyone that was involved. You truly met my expectations and i will be recommending your hotel to friends and family.
"Excellent location and service!"
I really like San Antonio and it took me a while to try this hotel. But after the first time in January, I chose it every time I got back. The location is excellent - you are on the Riverwalk, but on a calmer place, with just a 2-minute walk to the crowd. I also like the rooms as they have pretty new furniture and no carpet (which is Heaven for an allergic person!)
"Good bar"
Nice bar and very great bartender. We have been to most bars on riverwalk and very disappointed. Alex was our bartender here tonight and has done a great job of making great drinks and keeping us occupied and enjoying our time. If ever back in SA we will def stay here and come back to bar to see Alex.

Hotel was recommended by a friend, enjoyed the stay and view from my room. The bar/lounge area is a great place to unwind after a long day..Juan the bartender made sure I was well taken care of, great personality which made the afternoon enjoyable. Cynthia, the manager introduced herself and was also very friendly not only to myself but all the patrons in the lounge. Great atmosphere and great staff! Valet was quick and front desk was very friendly and professional...Defiantly recommending this hotel and plan on staying here on my next visit.
"Great customer service!"
When we first arrived, we had booked a double bed room. They told me that they were going to upgrade us to a king with a balcony overlooking the riverwalk. It sounded nice, but we had our 2 and 3 year olds with us. They were able to provide us with a crib, so we were able to make the sleeping arrangements work. Well, that room was very small! After the first night, my husband went down to see if we could switch back to our original reservation and the ended up providing us a king suite! It was perfect for us, and they didn't charge us anything extra. On our last morning we ate breakfast in the hotel restaurant. The servers were fabulous and the food was very good!
"Excellent Customer Service"
When my husband and I stayed in the Holiday Inn in Panama City Beach, FL we had a great time and had excellent service so when I had to come to San Antonio for business I looked for a Holiday Inn. I was not disappointed when I checked in they upgraded me to a suite and it was a wonderful surprise. The bed was very comfortable, the furniture in the living room was a little worn but the customer service and room service more than made up for it.

The front desk staff always greats you with a smile and and makes you feel welcome. They are willing to help with all request and give suggestions on where to go while exploring the Riverwalk. The hotel bar, Ripples is a great place to unwind after a day of work and the bartenders are friendly and make you feel as if you are in your local watering hole back home.
"HOLIDAYS"
I visited San Antonio with my family and found this hotel excellent, their customer service is fantastic from front desk to housekeeping to maintenance, the best thing is next to river walk. I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wants to stay in San Antonio river walk.
