    "Great Get Away"
Kings Creek Plantation is a great get away. Close to Jamestown, Yorktown and Williamsburg, the location cannot be beat. The property is clean, quiet, and the resort has a wonderful large aquatic center with work out facilities. Staff are pleasant and very accomodating. This is a time share community, so we had a one bedroom unt with mini kitchen and living room. We would stay here again.
    "A wonderful week"
We were totally impressed. The facilities were very nice and spacious, every employee we encountered was friendly and helpful, the resort itself has a "neighborhood" feel as opposed to an apartment/condo atomosphere, which we liked very much. We liked it so much that we took the plunge and bought a wee piece of it. The "sales pitch" was in no way an unpleasant experience, we weren't pressured or insulted or pestered. We look forward to returning!
    "Nice timeshare property--great exchange"
We were in a 2 bedroom 2-1/2 bath unit that was perfect for two couples. I've stayed in many timeshare properties, and this one ranked high in terms of comfort, amenities, cleanliness, and the provision of many basic supplies (e.g., paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, etc.) The kitchen was well stocked, too--better than most. Willaimsburg and the surrounding area has so many attractions that we didn't really have time to take advantage of the amenities, but there were many. The playground for kids looked great. This seems like an excellent choice for families.
"The Cottages are a great place to stay."
We stayed in a two bedroom cottage and had a very enjoyable stay. It was like a regular house rather than a hotel. These are separate houses in a village configuration. The house was very clean and furnished with a lot of quality towels in the bathrooms. Each bedroom has TV and a private bathroom. The bedrooms are upstairs which was not a problem for us.The furniture was clean and the unit had attractive decorations. There was a full kitchen and dining room. The units are well maintained. There is a great indoor pool and fitness center as well as outdoor pools and playgrounds. Each cottage has a grill outside. The location is excellent with a lot of shopping nearby and excellent highways. We look forward to staying again.
    "I'd stay again"
We stayed at King's Creek for a long weekend from 12/12-12/15. We were a group of 6 who fit quite comfortably in one of the two-unit townhomes. (We stayed in one unit.) We had two bedrooms, each with flatscreen tv's, and 2.5 baths, one on the lower floor and one in each bedroom. The beds were comfortable, the linens clean. We had plenty of room and I appreciated the opportunity to store food in the full-size refrigerator and cook meals in the house instead of having to eat every meal out. The indoor pool was great and the kids utilized it a few times during our stay. All in all, convenient, great place to stay, close to the historical sites.
    "Looking forward to 2nd visit"
This is a great place to visit with family. So, looking forward to our second visit. We found Kings Creek Resort to be one of the most friendly and nicest resort we've visited. Great location near shops, restaurants, and theme parks. We hope our in-laws will enjoy coming with us this visit.
    "Extraordinary"
I absolutely loved this resort. It was a very relaxing and beautiful place. The service was outstanding. This is a great place to visit with the family. I stayed in the Cottages and the rooms are very spacious. I cant wait to visit again.
    "Lovely Vacation Week"
My husband and I are owners at King's Creek and thoroughly enjoyed our recent week's vacation. We stayed in a recently upgraded three bedroom cottage and enjoyed the benefits of new carpet, furniture and pillowtop mattresses. Check-in was a breeze this time and when asked to schedule an owner's update meeting we notified the staff we were not looking to upgrade or change our contract. In previous visits we've endured three and four hour presentations, but this time we remained firm and the salesman was very gracious and accepted the fact that we had no intentions of upgrading. Our preschooler daughter loved the pool area and playground, and we enjoyed relaxing on the front porch sitting in the rocking chairs. This was our fourth trip to Kings Creek and the best one yet!
"Very nice room, but floorplan a little odd"
We stayed in a 1 bed/1 bath in the Estates section. All of the amenities of the unit were very nice and new-looking. Granite countertops in the kitchen, bathtub with jets in the bedroom, washer/dryer. It really had everything. The floorplan was a little strange, though, because you enter the unit in the living room. If you keep walking straight, there is the galley kitchen. Keep walking straight and you're in the bedroom. Turn left (the floorplan is a big circle around the unit) and left again, and you walk into the bathroom/laundry. Keep walking and you've entered the living room on the other side where you started. There are no hallways between rooms, just doorways. They amnaged to fit everything into a tight little box of a floorplan, so you won't want for anything, just maybe notice that the floorplan is a little strange. It looks like there are a lot of units there. We really didn't have time to check out anything about the resort as we were doing things during the day.
    "Best Kept Secret in Williamsburg"
I'm a frequent flyer at Kings Creek. I would never stay any where else in Williamsburg. My mother and sisters and and brother in law stayed with us on this visit. It's an overall feeling of "cozy and warm", especially with the fireplace. We went shopping at the outlets while the men went golfing. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped to prepare meals for my family. Target is convenient for any food items now. I must admit, overall I love the jet tubs the most, so I can pamper myself, so take your favorite bath salts with you. Enjoy!!
"Loved the Resort and the Free Lunch!"
My husband and I spent a weekend here for a timeshare presentation. This was the best accomodation I had ever styaed in for a timeshare presentation. Normally they put you in places that make your skin crawl. Not King's Creek. They pulled out all the stops. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage. Full amenties. It's a bit of drive to the heart of Williamsburg which is the Richmond Rd strip. (That's where Captain George's and the outlets are.) Took about 20 minutes to drive there every day. But it as nice to be off the beaten path. They even treat you to lunch during your timeshare presentation. Some kind of diner, but it was good. The tour guide guy was nice. Everything was really nice. If you want a quick getaway, go!
"Better Than Expected & Great Location"
Stayed at King's Creek in a Cottage (2-story villa) through an Interval International exchange, a total of four adults and two small children. The villa itself was spacious inside with separate kitchen and dining (table for six) and two master bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. We found the unit and grounds clean and attractive. The location couldn't be better -- right off of I-64 (exit 242 B) and next door to Water Country. The drive to Busch Gardens was only about ten minutes and the drive to Yorktown via the Colonial Parkway (which was two minutes away) only took fifteen minutes. All-in-all, we were extremely satisfied with our stay as the total experience was better than expected.
    "Beautiful Property, Beautiful Stay"
We recently returned from a stay at this beautiful property. We had a two bed, two bath unit with a full kitchen and washer and dryer. There was plenty of space for everything, and everyone. Our unit was spacious and well appointed. Even though the weather didn't cooperate for a couple of days, that was fine. We just hunkered down by the fireplace and enjoyed a good book. Everyone we encountered whether it was on the property or out and about, was nice, pleasant and very helpful. This property is centrally located to the sights, shopping and Historic Williamsburg. Nothing seemed to be more than a half hour away. Williamsburg is only 10 minutes from the property. This was a much needed and very relaxing vacation. I look forward to going back in the future.
    "Superb in every way"
From the warm welcome at the check in to help with our washing machine, I'd say the service here is excellent. Quiet. Great for power walking. Swim and gym facilities are fantastic. Good kitchen, towels, bed very comfortable. Clean! And yes close to everything. We came here with an Interval Get-away for a couple of hundred$ and couldn't believe the warm treatment we were afforded. Highly recommended.
    "Fairy Tale Cottage"
We rented a 3 bedroom cottage and it was wonderful. (7/15 to 7/22) We purchased a 7 day Bush Garden/WaterCountry pass (on line prior to our trip). From the parking lot of WaterCountry to our front door took 3 minutes. Bush Gardens was only 5 minutes away. This cottage reminded me of a fairy tale cottage. Two of the bedrooms had King Size Beds and the 3rd bedroom had (2) Twin Beds. Every bedroom had a widescreen TV and private bath with a 1/2 bath downstairs. Very clean and well kept. If i were to build a home it would be a replica of this cottage. There were (2) outside pools and (1) olympic size pool in the plantation complex. The units had a gas grill to use and the maintenance people came around and emptied your garbage can every morning. My daughter-in-law found this deal on craigslist. I have been to Williamsburg, VA for the last (6) years and there is no doubt that when i come back it will be to KingsCreek Plantation.
"Great Location - near everything! Perfect for families!"
We stayed at King's Creek from June 29th thru July 4th. We had a 2 bedroom cottage that was perfect for our family of 4. It was well kept and we didn't have any issues at all. The beds were pillow tops and wonderful to come home to after exploring the area! The place was very clean and comfortable. We had large flat screen tvs in both bedrooms and the living room. We did the sales meeting the second day we were there and the man was not pushy at all. He told us about the plan, left us alone to discuss and when we said we weren't interested he said "Okay, you folks have a great vacation." Even the second guy we were then sent downstairs to who offered to cut the price in half was polite and just said, "Alright, enjoy your the rest of the week." The hour spent was definitely worth what we paid to stay in a 2 bedroom home! We would defintely go back!
    "Fun place to stay"
Now, let me start this review by saying that I'm a timeshare owner here, but because I was local, I never actually stayed at the resort until now. Instead, I used the facilities on pretty much a weekly basis. However, I moved to PA and came back for a week visit. So, here's my review: I stayed in the lower townhouse area on Begonia, an advantage because it's close to the largest pool but not next to it, i.e., much less noise. The townhouse itself was great when you have a big group. Our unit was well decorated, clean, and well laid out. There's a kingsize bed in the master bedroom, another bedroom with a queen or double, and a study with a pull-out double bed. Two small bathrooms are included, both of which have nice showers with ample water pressure, and one has a nice jacuzzi. The kitchen was great, and it had everything we needed for a family of five. Great amenities in the units and on the grounds. Indoor and outdoor pools; fitness center; playground; barbecue grills; picnic tables. Located really close to Water Country and Busch Gardens. Between the kitchen and the BBQ grills, you could easily stay on a food budget. Free wi-fi in the units (a bit slow) and two computers available in the gift shop. Advice: When you come on the grounds of King Creek, drive by the entrance gate (which I saw manned in the evening), down the hill, and then up the hill to the aquatic center. This is where you check in. Check in is not until 4 p.m., and they pretty much hold to that time. There is a place to leave luggage if you want to check in and then come back later for the keys. I stayed in the reception area and got into my room a half-hour earlier. After you sign in, you will be sent over to a counter for a welcome packet. This included an invitation to attend a timeshare presentation. The packets had tons of info on the area and some coupons, and the staff didn't seem to be pushy about the timeshare part. (They did later call the room.) You will be given a map of the resort, which is helpful in finding your unit. Basically, there are three types: cottage, townhouse, and estate, in order of having been built and in amenities. After you check in, I suggest going to a grocery store for supplies. There is a nearby shopping center with a Target, Kohl's (department store), Dick's (sporting supplies), etc. I don't know if Target has food, for we went to several grocery stores that were down the road. To get to Harris Teeter's, take a left onto route 199 and go approximately 5 miles until you see a small shopping center on the right (near Kingsmill). The second choice is to take a left on Route 199 and then a right onto Route 143 towards Willilamsburg. Go about 3-4 miles and you'll see a Food Lion on the right. If you want fast food, the closes places are to take a left on Route 199 and follow the Busch Gardens signs. You'll take a right off of 199 and then another right onto Route 60. Within a minute you'll see a McDonald's and a Wendy's. There are also restaurants and specialty shops in the same area. Busch Gardens is a mile or two further down the road. I like King's Creek. Someone mentioned that Ford's Colony was fancier. That's true, but if you want to be close to Busch Gardens and Water County, you can't beat KC. It has lovely grounds where you can walk to everything, and the selection of pools and hot tubs is great. The best time to hit the pools is lunchtime, for most people are out and about or are having lunch.
    "Winners win losers lose"
I love how people say they love the product but don't understand why a sales person asked them to buy. I ll admit I didn't come to buy anything and me and my wife talked about saying No before the tour. Everyone does that. But If no one ever bought it kings creek would be out of business. Fact is I was sick of hotel rooms and not having any space on my vacation. I know everyone that leaves a review should say don't buy! But if no one ever did and resorts went out of business we would have to pay for our own tickets to Bush Gardens! Lol. I settled on a 9900 package and me and my wife are happy with it, the rep and the resort. Yea I ve seen resales but they don't come with the benefits the resort itself offers. if you spend 700 - 1000 a year in a hotel then a Resort would be an upgrade. Hate if you want to but I m going on vacation with Interval and Kings Creek.
    "Lovely Resort"
I had never stayed at this resort before but had always wanted to.We were able to go over the Thanksgiving holiday and had a wonderful time. The first thing that i was impressed with was the staff very helpful and polite! This is always important to me as i am sure it is with others.I thought the grounds were well maintained and clean! The unit itself was very nice!Very spacious and clean!I really liked the sitting room that was located off the one bedroom and living room! There was a nice indoor pool and gym but i did not get to use it.The resort is near Yorktown and Jamestown which we spent alot of time at each! The river walk in Yorktown was very nice!Visiting Jamestown was also a great expierence. If you get the chance check out Presidents Park right near the resort. It is a great thing to check out that is very close by.We were extremely blessed on our stay with very nice weather so we were able to do alot of outdoor things.I have been to Williamsburg several times and Kings Creek is probably one of the nicest places i have stayed at!I give it a edge over Wyndhams Kingsgate but Wyndhams Govenors Green is i think a little bit better!None the less i dont think you can go wrong with any of the three!Hope this is some help to others.Be Blessed Jimbass!
"Like Tony the Tiger "Ther're Great!!!""
I had a super time at King's Creek...I celebrated my birthday at the resort and I can't say enough about the accomodations and the housekeeping service. My wife is a stickler about cleanliness so if she was pleased I am too! I can wait until next year to celebrate my special day at the resort.
