Wonderful accommodations with the Black Diamond suites and amenities. Staff and especially our butlers Rushane and Domenic and fabulous head butler Steve, made our week nothing short of amazing. They went above and beyond taking care of even the smallest details. The room was clean and spacious, the swim out pool from our room was incredible to sit by and have a late day dip. Highly recommend this resort and well worth the additional cost for Black Diamond service.

"Great Resort and Great"
Our stay at the Royalton was very accommodating. The staff was available anytime and every time to help us. The resort itself was beautiful and the pool areas and water slides were top notch. The environment was always friendly and safe. Our room was kept wonderfully clean by Madonna our housekeeper. Our butlers Chad and Stacey were available day and night and very helpful always and really made our stay better. The Diamond Club was a great choice for us that we would never book again without. Javal at the pool bar was one of our favorites for keeping the kids and ourselfs refreshed with many neat drinks for the whole family. The restaurants were nice and the staff was very good. The presentation was excellent of most of the food items although some of the food didn't sit well. Maybe just a difference in culture and spices. But they definitely try hard at all they do here. More so than most other resorts we have been to. Shon hooked my boys up in the pool with their first scuba experience which was cool because I got to be there with a mask and snorkel while they kicked around under 3-4' of water. My wife got a spa treatment and liked it. My 2 year old went crazy in the pool the whole time and all was well. Really a good trip.

We absolutey loved this resort. Daughter already planning another trip right back to the Royalton. American dollars are great there. Get your big bills broke down some b4 you come. Can't always get change. Tip often, the workers deserve it. We had diamond club, well worth it. Our butlers, TimRoy and Ryan went above and beyond duty. Shelly Anne, we loved, she kept our room awesome. The Zen restaurant was the best experience on the resort we had.

All a la carte resturants were very good and both quality of food and service was good. Martini bar was great also. Entertainment during the day and night was good and the only criticism I would give would be the size of the rooms, we had 3 adults in one room which was a little crowded as we had 2 single beds and a sofa bed which made it hard to access the balcony when the sofa bed was in use.

"Great holiday good hotel"
We travelled to the royalton white sands in August for our family holiday. Having previously stayed at the royalton punta cana we expected high standards. We stayed in a jacuzzi honeymoon suite which was fantastic. Very god size, big bathroom and great balcony with jacuzzi and large comfortable chairs. The swimming pools are fantastic as is the kids water park and beach area. The gourmet Marche buffet was ok although quite limited. Italian, steak house and zen were all of a good standard and decent enough food. The sports bar wasn't very nice and the area around it all needs sprucing up a bit. We had quite a few problems with power cuts, no a/c and no hot water for five nights which is unacceptable for the price we paid. All in all we had a great holiday, however it wasn't as nice as royalton punta cana.
"Great first experience of Jamaica"
We really enjoyed our 10 day holiday in Jamaica staying at the Royalton White Sands Resort. I would say there's a good choice of restaurants, 4 a la carte and one buffet which served good Jamaican food. Opa and the Zen teppanyaki were highlights. Be sure to get to reception before 9am to book Zen however! We had Jerk Chicken from the hut almost every day, it's so good! Evening entertainment was also great, the Bob Marley tribute particularly. Credit to all the entertainment team who keep going all day long! The staff were all a joy, particular thanks to Ramon at the pool bar and Ricardo in the Sports bar who kept us well watered & were always so friendly. Also to Joe from the photo shop for his wonderful after sales care since we got home. The resort itself is very nice, I think the rooms are a bit tired if that's something that might bother you. Our only real gripe was that room service takes a very long time, even for bottled water and the food isn't to the standard of the restaurants. We also had some real air con/condensation issues! It was a great central base for experiencing the country, we booked excursions through our Rep to Nine Mile by Reggae Bus, Negril/Rick's Cafe & the Blue Mountains. We hired a car on our last day and in hindsight we would have explored more by ourselves. We went to Portland and it was absolutely stunning, at no point did we feel unsafe, just be vigilant on the roads and be aware they are poorly lit at night. The excursions really add up and are often an unnecessarily long day with all the hotel drop offs and pointless detours to tourist shops. If you're an adventurer or want a real experience I would get a car where possible! Thanks to Royalton for a wonderful time in Jamaica! The country is so tropical & beautiful.

This hotel is such a great stay! From check in to check out the staff were amazing, the rooms kept clean & was all that we could have wished for our trip! Had a wonderful two weeks and will definitely be back

Buffet, Zen and the jerk chicken and pork served on the beach were the best food options! Staff were mostly all helpful and friendly. Grounds were kept up well. We used Chris's Jamaica tours to book a more personalized excursion that was not so "touristy" he was awesome and kept us and our kids safe.
"Great first-time getaway to Jamaica"
This was our first time to Jamaica and to this resort. White sands and Blue waters are connected therefor we were able to use the pools, beaches, and restaurants they shared which was a great plus plus!! Just like staying at a mega resort. We loved all the local cuisines the buffet had to offer especially ox tail, plantains rice and peas, and jerk chicken. So if you appreciate Jamaican food, you will love this place. You'll definitely enjoy the entertainment at the Zen restaurant serving Japanese teppanyaki. Ricardo was great at making everyone laugh at our table as well as showing off his samurai cooking skills. Our room was quite small in comparison to the other Royaltons I've been to, but it was adequate as we didn't spend too much time in the room and the bathroom was fine with a steady pressure and amount of hot water. Beach was clean and very beautiful (blue waters/white sand) with plenty of cabanas and beach chairs, although vendors were very annoying trying to get your attention at every turn. Our favourite place to hang out was the diamond club beach club. Winston was an excellent bartender, giving suggestions as to what to drink and offering up some knowledge about the local culture and life in Jamaica. Always a pleasure to see home with his big smile and warm demeanour. He has a passion for his job and it clearly shows. Roxane from the animation team was great at getting everyone turnt up and ready to party. Live bands were amazing and threat at displaying some of the great reggae music the country has to offer. I'd definitely consider coming back to this resort especially for all the warm staff at the resort. Thank you for a great week!
"beautiful people and place"
The staff was always smiling and very helpful. We would highly recommend this resort, weather was exceptional, blue water lots of friendly people a great experience. the chefs were always willing to make special food due to health issues and this was great appreciated.
"Cleanest pools in the Caribben"
Whoever is in charge of their pools needs to get a gold star. Regardless of intensity of use all pools, water slides, swim up bars etc. were crystal clear at all times. Beaches were cleaned and groomed daily.
"Wonderful experience"
I visited this resort for 10 nights earlier this month, to attend my Godson's wedding. On arrival there appeared to be a misunderstanding as to the rooms pre booked which eventually got sorted, after some gentle persuasion on my part. My room was large, bright, clean with all the required facilities, apart from a kettle. Superb walk-in shower with the largest overhead option I've ever seen which was a dream, when it worked. In the main, the Staff who were plentiful in number were excellent, occasional blip. Our all inclusive package was excellent value for money. Onsite specialist Restaurants offer a superb variety of tastes, with 3 new ones opening during last few days of our trip, making 7 in total. Excellent facilities for Kids, so this Hotel is well suited for Families........... Setting and scenery are perfect for the many Weddings which take place here, having enjoyed the experience, I can see why folks would travel so far to enjoy. I booked on 2 trips via onsite operators, both were a tad disappointing based on our expectations v the reality. Overall, I thoroughly wonderful time was had by me and vast majority of our party, naturally we had a few blips, some were easier to sort than others.
"Family Vacation"
Vacation was enjoyable and the hotel was very nice, except for a few small things, such as the check in service, which was very disorganized and not enjoyable. The food in all the restaurants was excellent for an all inclusive resort and the entertainment was very good. The Entertainment staff were also very friendly and enjoyable to be around.
"Ain't that a trump"
After the concierge learned that I was a single woman traveling solo she informed me that I would not be eligible for the promotional gift package after taking the Royalton Blue tour. Single women or women traveling solo need to know your married or couple counterpart are receiving opportunities after taking a tour which you are not offered due to your solo status. Living in the gray ~ The resort is wonderful but not the sexist policy.
"don't worry"
Having read some reviews about cold water I thought oh no !, however all was well, this hotel is fantastic the staff just make your holiday, the lady who worked the beach bar everyday could not do enough so thank you. Food was excellent although we didn't like the Mediterranean , we had butler service which was great ,rooms were clean and views stunning,we travelled with two friends and one became ill and had to stay in hospital for a few days, the hotel staff were so caring and went beyond what we expected always asking about him,the Thomson rep did not ask even once and didn't even acknowledge him as we got on the coach to leave, ,I would recommend a taxi from the airport coach takes far too long. Thank you all at royalton you made our holiday in Jamacia and we will be back

Royalton white sands resort was a beautiful resort . Would go back again . Clean beaches ,staff was excellent either in the restaurants or on the beach and bars. Rooms clean and anything extra needed taken care of right away. Everyone in our group would go back
"Kids club fantasia"
We booked our autistic son in for kids club most days and Nyoka,Marsha, Lisa, Tamara, othele, shennoy and taj were all fabulous and kind to him. He enjoyed himself so much. Thank you girls. I can most definitely recommend the kids club to any parent as they were very professional throughout.

A warm friendly greeting as you pullup at the front entrance of The Royalton ..colourful attractive lobby decor ,, with refreshing drink to quench your thirst upon arrival.. Yes Indeed The Royalton White Sands .. has a nice , clean white sands beach area with sublte waves and a little private 'inlet' surrounded by rocks for that private kiss.. (smile) & great tanning areas or shaded areas if so desired.. Yes white sandy beach & much more was enjoyed over my 3 day stay.. such as: A great poolside dinner buffet on Monday night & an amazing poolside entertainment on Monday night which was a lively sinchronized swimming act, followed by many beach day activities push ups & Male & Female Dance competitions , Tuesday night's Entertainment was lively local singing & dancing acts which was quite good! The Royalton has many attractive Restaurants and the main dining area offers wide buffet food, fruits, desserts, sushi , pasta & meat choices! The Staff is very friendly & helpful ..also for the thrill water slide seekers there are covered & open long twirling slides for a good 'heart racing'..There are many quiet outdoor seating areas for easy relaxation & easy access swim up bar & Sports Bar & other bars for many drink choices! This was a Wonderful White sands getaway and will do it many more times over!!
