"Loved the resort"
Nice well maintained resort. The pool and lazy river were nice and relaxing. All of the staff were helpful and friendly. I would definately stay at this resort again. One thing to be aware of, even though the pool area can only be accessed through your room key, non guests can still enter with paying guests.
"Perfect Vacation"
I just returned from las vegas where I spent 2days at Tahiti and 4 days at Cancun. I was able to experience both timeshare properties during the same week.
Cancun's one bedroom suite was far superior from the one bedroom suite I got a Tahiti but overall Tahiti takes the win. The pools at Tahiti are gorgeous and the sandy beach was awesome for my three year old. The shuttle at Tahiti was a real convenience and it was a big money saver since taxis can be quite pricey being away from the strip. For these two reasons Tahiti wins.
I attended the Luau and although the food was actually good I don't think it was worth the $50 price tag. Adding canopies or umbrellas for shade is a must. It is way too hot to sit completely exposed to the sun. The drink station was disgusting. No one attending. The ice would melt in 5 minutes no one refilling. Tiny 8oz cups. U had to get a refill after every other sip. Only water and ice tea. Adding a lemonade wouldn't break the budget. Every other drinks u have to buy. Only the first two rows get a decent view of the dancers. Everyone up had to stand to see the dancers. It was ok but I wouldn't of purchased the tickets had I known. It wasn't an experienced as I expected.
"Faboulous place off the strip"
We stayed her for 7 wonderful days in May 2016. I was very happy with everything. The pool was amazing and the room was beautiful. I was extremely impressed with the staff and their kindness to help. I will definitely return to this hotel for a relaxing escape again. I have told all my family and friends to book here in the future
"Escape and relax"
Near perfect getaway, with a boat load of activities for family. Volleyball in the pool, sandy beach and then, my personal favorite the lazy river. It gets better, they light the place up with tiki torches at dark! 8) Its on the far south end of the strip and really easy to navigate to. The complimentary shuttle take you to two stops on the strip. And there is a Denny's connected to the resort for a quick meal. But the resort does have a large BBQ that may be reserved. Really the only thing missing is some cuties in grass skirts.
"Family Friendly Hotel in Vegas"
We stayed here with our family on our road trip to Colorado and thought it was good. Unfortunately the day we arrived, there was contamination in the big pool and it was closed till the next day. This was hugely disappointing as we were only there one night and it made it so we were not able to let out kids swim. I understand things like this happen, but part of paying the cost is expecting this experience. The room size was nice, and loved the kitchenette. It was loud though because of all the kids and families, which did not make for a peaceful nights sleep. The staff was hit or miss with friendliness as no one seemed apologetic that the pool was closed. Overall, we would stay here again, as it is very family friendly, not smoking friendly and the rooms were generous.
"Great place off the strip"
We stayed here for 3 nights, room was clean and spacious for 4 people. Had a pullout couch, blender, utensils and fridge.
You could upgrade to a room that had a full kitchen, which I would probably do next time. Fresh towels and linen were brought to us everyday. Pools were awesome. Big main pool with a little beach area for kids, hot tub, and another pool which was a lazy river. Bigger Than I expected. Still must be there early to get good seats, but that's expected at every resort Parking was free and easy. Big grills to BBQ all over the resort. It was nice to have a BBQ instead of eating out.
I'll definitely be staying here again.
"Great fun !!"
This place is perfect for families. It would be for adults too if looking to get away from the strip. Just beware there are tons of kids. The pool and lazy river are fun but busy. Shuttle rides to the strip are often running. But be careful if you are at the mirage pick up in the late evening. The two times we did it. It was packed like not enough room for everyone. So then you have to wait another half hour or so for another shuttle to come get you. And there is no line to wait in. The shuttle pulls up ,doors open and people push to get on. This made it scary for my family of five. Making sure the kids got on with us.
The rooms are great. Plenty of room and clean. We always go to the grocery and fill up the fridge for the week. Can be tricky to carry groceries all the way in and up the elevator. But kids helped !!
The activities that they have for the kids are free. That is a super nice touch. Other places we have been we have to pay for them. The kids were planning their days bases on the crafts that we're going on. We came home with a bunch.
We did the timeshare presentation to get discounted tickets on Ka. It is definitely low pressure. You go, you listen, you say no thank you if not for you and you are free to go. No hassle. And Ka was amazing.
We would easily stay here again. Good location. Close to the strip without being on the strip. Perfect for families. Quiet and clean rooms with friendly staff
"Second stay, nice resort"
I am an owner at Tahiti Village and this was my second stay there. The rooms are clean and have all the comforts of home. What attracts me to a resort like Tahiti Village are things like space and a kitchen. With a family it's not always convenient to go out to eat so having a full kitchen is a bonus for me! I wish that the kitchen was stocked with some nicer cooking equipment. The pans were old and there were not enough cooking utensils. I realize that not everyone cooks on vacation but I do occasionally and nicer equipment would have been helpful. The BBQ area was immaculate and was enjoyed by many families. The pool is amazing however I would suggest trying to find a lounger near one of the refreshment huts. There was a girl walking around with a tray however I never saw her take a drink order in the 5 days I went to the pool. She walked around the pool, avoided eye contact with the guests and went back to her station inside one of the drink stations. The staff in the lobby were so friendly and helpful. Although there were a lot of families at this resort it was quiet and relaxing and the grounds were beautiful and well kept. The activities and shuttle bus provided were an awesome bonus and a lot of people took advantage of both. All in all this is a great location in Vegas. Close enough to the strip, but far enough away to think you were in a tropical island!
"Great Place to vacation"
I enjoyed staying at Tahiti Village with my son and his friends. The location is across the street from the outlet so they spent hours shopping and swimming in the pool at Tahiti Village. The last few times that I've gone to Vegas, I've stayed there. I usually shop at the grocery store before I go so that we'll have snacks and breakfast in the room.
"Great place for a family"
Loved the condo, it was clean and spacious! Also the pools and lazy river were a great place to relax. Only 5 minutes from the strip but didn't have the cheesy vegas feel. We also got married in the skyroom on the 9th floor and everything was wonderful and more than what we expected. Loved this place!
"Fun Stay"
Our family has come here several different times for a week stay. Plenty of things for the kids to do, love the swimming pool and lazy river. Rooms are spacious enough. Some stuff to clean with like a broom/vacuum would be helpful for those long stays when we don't need or want room service. Overall we have a good time and shopping and lots of places to eat close by.
"A gem in the dessert"
Tahiti Village Resort in Las Vegas is truly amazing,I would say its a gem of an oasis in the dessert. The Resort has everything and then some, the rooms has plenty of space. And a grand view over the resort, pool and lazy river and palm forrest, with out getting to noisy by swimmers and children running amok in the water. You can also choose to get view of The city skyline, if you prefer that.
The Resort is also just a stone throw from the intl Airport, wich always is good if you have had a long haul flight and needs to get to a hotel fast without traveling miles and miles by transportation. The Resort has also a shuttle service to the strip and airport, and attractions nearby Las Vegas, if you dare heading out into the Heat :) The Resort is also guarded by security in the lobby and you need a keycard to get in and out of the area, use the poolsite etc ( so dont forget it!! )
The Hotel resort is great for family vaccations and also for singlepersons or a groul trip with friends :) The resort is somewhat simmilar to Floridas Disney Polynesian Resort in Orlando.and is magical espesially by night, when torches are lit and the pools and lazy river is lit by lights and the winds is rattling the palmleaves and the music and atmosphere of people gathering around for a drink or having theyr cozy family meals on the many large size family grill sites for the whole family to enjoy.I simply loved it , one of the best experiences I had :)
"Our 3 night stay"
A bit further from the main strip area, you needed to shuttle from the resort to one of three areas (free).... We were treated well and the entire premises was kept neat and full of beautiful gardens. Our 1 bedroom unit was well equipped and extremely comfortable. Wanting to get a tour of the Hoover Dam, I asked the concierge and they gave us the particulars and booked our tour for the following day. I would definitely return to The Tahiti Village.
"Nice surprise"
This was our first time staying here and staying off the strip. We were pleasantly surprised. Front desk staff were always helpful. Our room was the 2 bedroom Tahiti room and it was awesome. The kitchen was top notch. It was nice to be able to cook breakfast every morning. Saved a lot of money doing it.
Ask to stay closer to pool as our room was near the kids center so it was a hike. Unfortunately we asked for a view room, but there was none available at checkin. We ate out every night, but people were using the grill facilities which were plenty to go around.
The washer and dryer in the room was an added bonus. It really came in handy. FYI it takes hours to wash and dry one load Do it overnight. The pools were awesome. Only cons: they closed too early in May when we were there. Otherwise I believe they are opened until 10. The other complaint is the lifeguards would let boys/ young men throw a ball across the pool. This is fine when it's not busy, but it should stop when it's busy. We had to "heads up" a lot.
We used Uber to go to and from the strip. Average price during weekdays was $7-$9, a little higher on weekends. Real positive vibes from the drivers. The strip is far. You can't really walk it. Plus it's unsafe.
We found the Village to be a fun nice family resort. Our daughter had a blast. Overall, we will stay there again. Again the room was awesome. Huge!!!
"Such hardworking staff"
This is the second time I have stayed at this resort. I believe they are celebrating their 10th anniversary. It's a perfect location for me; I DON'T want to be in the midst of the hustle/bustle of the Strip. For me this works because if you do want to venture out to the Strip for a night out, their shuttle runs continuously every 30 minutes. But when you want to be away from the noise, you can have that too.
(We stayed 7 nights and only ventured to the Strip twice.)
I can't tell you how hard the staff works. Looking out from the balcony, I could see the workers cleaning the grills every morning diligently. I saw people steam cleaning the sidewalks. I saw housekeeping working a night shift. I saw mini-trucks hauling away trash near midnight. For this recent stay, I was in Building 5 which I recommend. Exercise room is right there and convenient to the pools.
Whenever you mix alcohol and pools, things can get loud and rowdy but this trip was actually quite quiet (which I liked). Music was audible but not blaring. With temperatures near 108 degrees, it was also thoughtful to provide free cold water coolers at the pools.
We arrived before check-in time and the front desk made every effort to accomodate us and that was most appreciated.
Shuttle drivers run 4X a week to the grocery store. Since we didn't have a car, that was appreciated. Let's face it, a shuttle bus isn't the easiest way to transport groceries, but the drivers were courteous and patient with us.
"Great Resort"
Great resort for people of all ages. Stayed in the newest tower, and it was very nice. Washer, Dryer, and full kitchen were awesome for my stay. Grills and cooking area was directly off of lobby. Pool was great. A little far to walk places, but there is a shuttle.
"Restricted Gambling south of the strip"
We loved staying here because we are not big gamblers and don't enjoy the whole gambling atmosphere so other than a Acouple of pokies at the bar there really isn't any gambling ..,
We had a Bora Bora room which had a full kitchen, and plenty of space ... Room clean and we stayed a week so only had housekeeping mid week which we didn't mind anyway..
Pool and lazy river nice additions only issue was kids being stupid in the last river making waves and they were spoken too by the lifeguards.. But kept doing what they were told not too with no consequences
Walking distance to restaurants and premium outlet malls south .. Shuttle to town square and strip is awesome...
2nd time staying here and will stay again if we visit Las Vegas again
"Beautiful resort!"
I own this timeshare so I finally decided to use it. The resort itself is immaculate. The rooms are nice. The kitchen has the basic utensils to be able to cook basic food items. There were three of us so my son slept in the sofa bed. The thick blanket was rough and stiff. Unlike hotels, they don't clean the rooms or change your towels daily. We stayed for 6 days and we didn't qualify for the room cleaning in the middle of the week. They have some activities and the pool looks impressive. They have torches with actual fire burning around th pool and barbecue areas. The gym can use more equipments. Towels and water are available free of charge. I joined one session of yoga. The shuttle service of the resort only dtops off/ picks up people gtom Tropicana and Mirage. The bus service of the city doesn't go all the way to Tahiti Village. To make our lives easier I ended up using Uber a lot. The only thing with Uber is you have to ask the hotels where the pick up areas for Uber/Lyft are. They can drop you off anywhere but getting picked up is challenging.
"Wonderful Place For Families"
Stayed for four nights in July and had a great time with our granddaughter. Check in was easy and we were given a 4th floor room in Tower 5 overlooking the rental car facility. It was a quiet room and had a fine time sleeping. The pools and lazy river were a huge hit especially in the 100 degree heat. I took the shuttle which drops you off at the Mirage every 30 minutes. We took the timeshare tour and it took exactly the 2 hours as advertised and we were not highly pressured at all. All in all a fine stay in a nicely kept facility for a couple of grandparents and a 6 year old. We'll be back.
"Hot Vegas Summer, but a beautiful, cool Pool and Lazy River."
Wife and I took a quick, short trip to Las Vegas in July (too hot), but had a great time. Tahiti Village's huge, inviting swimming pool and long, cool Lazy River were perfect for the day time and evenings in the hot tub for relaxing after being at shows on the Strip. We've been staying at Tahiti Village for 10 years and love the location off the Strip. Shuttle buses operates two per hour till midnight, and there is a bus provided for picking up groceries three times a week! The bus saves you $18 each way to the strip and more if you went grocery shopping. Great Staff, wonderful amenities, top notch resort that is out to please!
"Short trip as a stop over from a bigger trip"
My family and I stayed at the resort for 2 nights after a 2 week trip to utahs national parks. We had a great time. My kids loved the pool, the lazing river and the kids activity room. My husband and I loved the grill area, the convient shuttle service and the size of the room. We would all love to come back some day, and highly recommend it to families staying in Las Vegas.
"Yearly vacation trip - great"
We have a time-share at this resort and go there every year for 1 week of vacation.
We really like this resort, has everything you need. Its like our going home every year, staff is friendly, helpful. We always ask for a room higher up, facing the airport so we can watch the planes coming in and going out. This year we were there for 4th of July and saw the Fireworks from our balcony -we had a great view.
"First family trip to this area, accommodation wonderful"
Great, modern, spacious accommodation. Lazy river fantastic and great free transport into strip. For all it was a large complex, it was never noisy at night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Whole place very clean. Would thoroughly recommend
"Great family time!"
Our family decided to stay here for the three days we were in vegas and our only regret was we had to leave and not able to utilize all the amenities! Upon arrival we took advantage of paying extra for the Polynesian dinner luau! We ordered these tickets prior to our arrival via calling resort and getting info through website. The dinner itself was not what we were expecting for price. The luau guests are given lai's upon entering and being sested. The resort chooses your table! We were located mid back from stage area with hard to see viewing for dinner show especially if you are short stature and have young children. The wait for food was also long as they tell you when your table is called to get food. There is lots of interaction between show personnel and audience which is fun. They also provide time to get up close personal pictures with entertainers.
The resort itself is immaculate & up to date. The room furnishings were clean and efficient. Most of the staff was friendly however there was one security guard who was rude and obnoxious to myself and my daughters as we were entering the elevators with bagfuls of groceries asking to see id! He had come across us prior to this day with same attitude but never asked for id (roomkey).
The pools were rather cold and not heated but this didn't stop oyr youngest son age 11 from enjoying swimming. There is a volleyball net as well as an area of pool area where there is a beach like, setting entry for small children. The resort also has a lazy river which is always busy and full! Plenty of space to bbq snd rest as ursnt/bar on site as well as massages. Take advantage of staying here for a week if you have a chance!
"Perfect Spot for a great vacation"
We had a great time!! We have been to Vegas before but this was our most memorable trip. Everything was great, first time in a lazy river and the main pool was awesome . Room was spotless and very well appointed , everything about the property was excellent. Everyone we encountered were very friendly and professional. Great location close to groceries and shopping . Hotel shuttle (free) brought us to the strip and brought us back no problems. The hotel gave us some discount coupons for restaurants Use them they were great bargains !! I would highly recommend Tahiti Village for a fun Vacation.
"Perfect Spot for a great vacation"
Stayed here last April and its a perfect location for family stay. Close to the grocery store and the Las Vegas Outlet is next door! The rooms are clean and very spacious, we had the 2 adjoining rooms. There's lots of space for barbecue and they always clean the area. The shuttle bus is on time all the time. Just 15 minutes and you are already in the Strip. Avoid taking the last shuttle from the Mirage back to the resort!
"Gorgeous property"
We love anything tropical & this property did not disappoint! From the minute you walk in, you are greeted by island tunes & the Tahitian atmosphere. We stayed in a Moorea unit which was perfect for our family of 4. The lazy river & pool were amazing especially with the 120 degree heat. Those young at heart even have a beach area to play in & make any creation your heart desires. We didn't eat at the 17 degree restaurant or the Sandbox but did utilize the Denny's for a late lunch. The food was fine but it took forever (an hour)for the staff to get us everything we ordered & we went at an off time. You are a hop & a skip from the Strip/Airport/restaurants & shopping. Great location!!!!
"Great place to stay with the family!"
I brought my wife & 2 little girls here in March. The Royal Suite is huge - 2 full bedrooms, huge living area, 1.5 kitchens! The suite was great, but the amenities were amazing! Pools were incredible, lazy river was amazing & the recreation / games room was super cool. Gym was a bit bigger than average - that was good too.
"Family fun!"
This is our second stay in a month. We live 5 hours away and this is the perfect getaway with kids when you want to have fun but relax too. The rooms are big and have everything you need. The pool is big and offers a fun sandy beach where we built sandcastles, and net for water games. The lazy river is refreshing and the tubes are provided at no cost. They have plenty of lounge chairs and I love the beach towel service. I read so many people complain about the leaves in the water but what do you expect? It was clean from trash. The staff is friendly and I feel they provide a safe and controlled resort without having overzealous rules. Maintenance crews are so nice and always hard at work. My girls loved the activities and crafts. You can easily make meals in your room as they all have a kitchen. Or go out to many choices in waking distance.
Another great point is that either we had very quiet neighbors on both visits or the rooms have thick walls. We never had a problem with noise disturbances.
We will definitely be going back!
