We really enjoyed our stay at Wild Bear Inn. The prices were GREAT and we got a free Pancake Breakfast every morning. The staff, Angie, Betsy and Phil and also the housekeepers were polite and attentive to everything we needed. We will stay here again !!!!

"Beautiful balcony view"
I loved it here. Except the heater didn't work, but other then that, it was perfect and close to everything. I loved the views and smell of frest pine trees. Minutes from SMNP, and downtown Gatlinburg. I will stay here again.
"Our 2nd time staying here. No frills, but clean and friendly employees."
This was our 2nd time staying here. The first time was in November 2014. We almost always rent a cabin but didn't need that much space this trip. We stayed 5 nights from Dec.29th till Jan.3rd. We had a room on the back side and ground level. The place was packed and all booked up. There was a group of teenagers there and they were very loud. Our room was the last room right by the stairs. We just turned up the a/c and tv and didn't let it bother us. Our room was very clean. The first thing I do when I check in a place is to wipe down the tv remote and doors with Clorox disinfecting wipes and I check the mattresses. This place was very clean and passed all my test. Jason was very nice and helpful and Jesse at the call center is also a very nice guy. They offer you a free pancake breakfast every morning of your stay. We did not eat there this time but have in the past and liked it. Our wi-fi worked great. No problems at all with it. I would recommend this hotel and would stay here again. It's a older place but clean and has some friendly employees.
"my stay"
We traveled with 2 small dogs. We noted the rooms were very clean and neat. We were given a special room for pets and it was pet friendly. Staff was helpful, accommodating, and very nice all around. We were give a complementary voucher to redeem at the PANCAKE HOUSE on site. This voucher is one per person per nights of stay. A true value. We would recommend this motel to others and will also book it again for ourselves.
"Great value!"
Phil helped us check in and park and get to our room. He really went out of his way. The room was good and we had coffee in our room. It is right by the Smokey Mountains and easy access to Gaitlinburg too. Pigeon Forge has great Christmas lights in town. We were there for Christmas & they provided sausage biscuits, bacon biscuits and Krispy Kreme donuts for our Christmas breakfast. Betsy checked us out and was friendly. I felt safe and very relaxed. They could use new mattresses and wifi wasn't stable, but we would stay there again for sure. Free pancakes and coffee or juice every morning with room!
"Very Good for the money"
We stayed for 4 days to visit for Christmas. We choose the Rodeway for easy access and a comfortable bed and found both within a reasonable price. We had a balcony room and enjoyed the view and room. Take note that this is an older hotel, and cheaply priced but worth the money. It was clean and the staff were very nice and accommodating. Angela moved us to a larger balcony room at check in. Loved her!!
"Very Nice place to stay friendly staff."
The room was very nice and clean. We were very well taken care of. The food was amazing. We received vouchers for free breakfast every morning during our stay. The hotel staff were very polite and called the room to check up on us to make sure everything was good. Definitely will be staying again.
"Very clean rooms!!!!!!"
This is probably the cleanest, hotel/motel/inn, I have ever spent the night in! The room was completely comfortable and very clean, ....and the price was perfect! It had turned chilly and the staff had our room warm and cozy! I appreciate them turning the heat on for us. Hubby and I were spending one night. We didn't want to spend a lot of money just to sleep a few hours. I checked the rates around Pigeon Forge and the Inn's reviews on tripadvisor and determined this would be the best place, at the most reasonable rate. We have decided to make the Rodeway Inn our "go to" place. Though we were on the ground floor, there was barely any noise, only one crying baby and a car radio. We had a terrific night's sleep and awoke refreshed and ready to shop the day away. I requested extra pillows for the bed, I was accomodated! It's nothing fancy, just a clean, comfortable place to stay. There is a restaurant on site, though we did not eat there this time. We will definitely be staying there, again, and again and again!
"Better than our last stay."
Staff is very friendly. Betsy and my husband shared some of their health issues. They are very accommodating to our service dog. The only place we stay so far when we are in the mts. Love the pancake breakfast (free). Made my husbands b'day very special.

Had another wonderful stay at Rodewsy Inn. The staff was very friendly & helpful, Betsy & Ben answered our questions & provided wonderful customer service. Our room was clean, awesome price & the bed was comfortable. Definitely staying on next trip there!
"Great Place to stay"
We have stayed at several motels in Pigeon Forge,but from now on the Rodeway Inn will be the one we go to.It's located at the very end of South Parkway(closer to Gatlinburg) so you don't have problems getting in and out of the traffic.It's quiet and clean.The Lady at the desk was Betsy,very nice, the house keepers were nice and friendly also! There's a pancake house right there on the grounds too.Just a great place to stay!! Can't wait to go back!
"Vacation"
Phil was so helpful to us every time we had questions and needed to buy tickets. Wish people at each Inn were this friendly and courteous . This Inn is right on the main road coming through Pigeon Forge. The rates are excellent and rooms are nice. Quickly available to all locations.
"Great place for family vacation"
My family and I stayed here dec.5,2015 the room was very clean smelled good the housekeeper Elizabeth was very friendly we stayed in the far side of the property she done a excellent job cleaning our room this was our first time seeing her as a housekeeper we stay here every year and hope to see her next year she was very sweet and made sure our stay was enjoyable definitely giving her a excellent rating
"Good Value & Pet Friendly"
We stayed at the Roadway Inn over the Thanksgiving Holiday because there were no other pet friendly places available. We were pleasantly surprised, the staff was very friendly. The room was clean and well maintained, the prize per night was reasonable (all inclusive - pet), a breakfast voucher was provided for each morning we were there to be used in the on-site restaurant (to include all in the party), and they are pet friendly. The are centrally located, just minutes away from Gatlinburg, the Great Smoky Mountain National Park, Dollywood, theaters, restaurants, and other amusement parks. Based on my experience, I recommend it.
"Decent value"
Our experience with this particular Rodeway was a decent one. Most of them are relatively dirty and trashy. It is an older property so the rooms aren't the nicest, but for the location it has decent value and is relatively clean. The housekeepers were friendly when I passed them and the front desk clerk Phil was great. He recommended we eat at the Smoky Mountain Brewery which was a tasty choice. We will definitely consider this property again if we are in the area.
"Labor day weekend"
Love this place it was nicecand clean staff especially dustin was great to bad he is no longer there he is the one that made our stay there fun enjoyed our our weekend up there plan on coming back soon
"Seniors Rock"
We are from a different time of in America. The Pigeon Forge of today was a two lane road before the interstate highways were built when I started coming. The roadway inn, Dollywood and other sites did no exists then. With that being said, our stay at Roadway Inn was what we expected. Clean, essentials, quiet and a nice restaurant on site. Color TV with cable and cold air. We enjoy our stays here and will come back.

"Family Vacation"
Very nice, clean, quiet, very friendly staff. Free pancake breakfast. Perfect location. Fridge in the room, hair dryer, coffee pot. All the comforts of home. Easy access to all the fun things to do. We will be staying here again.
"Weekend getaway with Friends"
Hotel was close to area attractions. Easy shuttle into Gatlinburg if you wanted or just around town. Hotel offered free pancake breakfast at Pancake house next door. The rooms were dated but very clean .Fridge in room was a bonus . easy drive to other area attractions if you wanted to get away .
"Great place to stay!"
Went for a girl getaway from October 1 to October 4, 2015. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the beds were very comfortable. The hotel is at the Gatlinburg end and the trolley stops right out front. There is plenty of parking. The restaurant has great breakfast food (only meal we tried there) and you get pancakes and a beverage free every morning or $1 off any other breakfast purchase. Our waitress, Rachel, was such a pleasure (but if she does something wrong her name is George). We had a pet-friendly room which is why we chose the hotel. We loved Pigeon Forge, the hotel, and the people, so we plan to go back to the Wild Bear Inn every time we go to Pigeon Forge!
"Good bargain"
For a 1 start hotel, it was exactly what I expected - cheap but efficient lodgings. We came to the smokies to hike and it served as a great room to crash at the end of a long day. Plus, free pancake breakfast!
"Clean and Friendly"
My wife and I stayed here September 10 and 11 to visit Dollywood. Did not know a car show was in town when we decided to come. The front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful...he put us in a room on the back side to be away from any noise. Although the facilities are little dated, our room was very clean and fresh smelling...no musty odor. The beds were comfortable and the A/C worked fine. Satisfied with the rate. Location is at a traffic light on the south end of town, so access is very easy going left or right (to Gatlinburg). The pancake and coffee breakfast is good. I will definitely stay here again when visiting Pigeon Forge. We had a very pleasant visit. Learn to use Veterans Blvd. and Teaster Lane to bypass the slow traffic thru town.
"Great Place"
We've stayed here twice this year and are very pleased with both of our stays. Rooms were very clean with micro and fridge. Beds comfortable. Staff has been very friendly and helpful with questions of things do do and places to eat. Our stay included pancakes for breakfast at the attached restaurant and that was a nice little Bonus. We'll definitely be back and recommend to others.
