"Very Nice and quiet place"
Very nice and quiet place. Family oriented. The rooms are very nice and clean. Staff and management are very friendly and very plaisant. We are coming to this place for over 30 years and we were never desapointed.

My family has been staying at the Carolina Winds for about 15 years. We love it. The pool is fantastic and the beach access is convenient and easy. The rooms are individually owned, so they are all very different. Staff is always helpful and courteous. We will return!

"Back Again For A Great Time !"
My husband and I just returned from another stay at this good value condo hotel. Had a wonderful time. Good housekeeping with lots of fresh towels everyday and where your maid will cater to your every need. Excellent front desk service especially from Georgeanna who was so helpful when I called for our reservation and setting us up with all that we needed. She helped to make our trip very special and for this we are truly grateful. As Canadians with a low dollar this was a great value for us and with a friendly smile every morning from the front desk this made it extra special. The staff really care about you and will do everything to make your trip memorable. This southern hospitality is something we just don't get at home and we really appreciate it. One just has to ask if there is a problem and it will be taken care of immediately. We will be returning next year same time. Can't wait.
"Best so far in Myrtle Beach Room 771"
Room 771 was the best by far! I have stayed here and at other complexes and this 2 bed condo was renovated and it was obvious that the owner cared. Fresh paint, Granite counters, new mattresses. Clean, clean, clean. Cleaning staff was there every day and needed batteries for remote the gentleman came immediately and made sure we were happy. The pools were attended to constantly. I will return only to this room.

We had a terrible experience with a previous hotel so I decided to book here. The staff was very understanding and was able to fulfill my request for a modern unit. They were awesome! Its very convenient to the nearby shops and restaurants.
"6th floor very nice"
We've stayed here a few times recently With Friends. We were lucky enough to get the 6th floor in the small building across the road near The Lazy River. Both these rooms were recently renovated so I would recommend a unit on that floor. Every one is individually owned so you don't always know what you're going to get. We absolutely love the large pool I think the longest in the Grand Strand! We will definitely be back!
"First vacation to the beach!"
This was our first ever time to the beach & ocean! Loved every second of it! Can't beat the deal and location! Wanted a hotel that was right on the beach and had views and a large pool. We stayed June 17th-24th The view was amazing and you can't beat the location. We didn't want super close to the boardwalk. When I booked this hotel back in February they were doing a deal of book 5 nights get 2 free so I couldn't pass it up. Room was clean and by our choice they cleaned every other day. They made our beds, mopped the floor, cleaned off the counters, and removed our trash. We stayed in a 1 bedroom efficiency suite on the 10th floor. Room 1011. Our daughter loved the outdoor pool. I love the lazy river next door. Only downside is the beds were not that comfortable. I ended up sleeping on the sofa for a few nights. But I've never stayed in a hotel that had a comfy bed so this was not a factor at all. The front desk staff was very nice and friendly. There's also a black cat that hangs around outside. My daughter would look for her every time we went to leave for the day.

Very nice hotel and affordable price close to most attractions. The beach Visiable from balcony. The staff was helpful. The room was clean and festive.Accomadatioms were excessive . I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
"Birthday Celebration for Grandson"
This was our first stay at Carolina Winds. Check in was great. Staff was very helpful and courteous. We were in a 2 bedroom - 772. The room was clean but is in need of some minor repairs. Our housekeeper was very nice and helpful. The pools & lazy river were clean with easy access to. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to anyone. My only complaint is the parking is pretty tight if you have a large vehicle. I would also like to say we were a little skeptical about coming last week as it was bike week. But we didn't have any problems and it was a lot quieter than we expected.

Everyone was very nice and helpful. The staff even gave my kids some beach toys!!! On the ocean and the room was perfect. It was clean and the beds were great. Perfect size for a family of five. I loved the kitchen! It had everything you needed to cook a full meal. We will be back!!
"Great place for a relaxing off season vacation"
Great location for walking to shopping and restaurants. The staff is friendly and very responsive. Stayed in 802 again this stay, owners did wonderful updates to make it feel even more like home. Best part is always drinking my morning coffee or early evening beverage and watching the dolphins go by... a definite yes for your next vacation.

Thank you Carolina Winds for another amazing stay. The front desk staff could not be more congenial and helpful, the room definitely was a slice of heaven on 11 hahhah views wonderful, pool spotless and crystal clear, indoor and outdoor pools/hot-tubs lovely and inviting..beach steps away and clean walkable beautiful beach area that stretches for miles and grounds are kept so beautifully. Yes it is an older condo hotel and rooms are eclectic due to different owners but it means nothing if your not treated royally like they do there. Such a nice group of different people staying at the hotel some older, younger, families a great mix and it all works...thanks for making more cherished memories for me to bring home
"Stayed while house shopping"
We didn't really come to vacation as we were there to shop for a new home. But with the beach so close, the bar in the resort, and the indoor and out door pool it really ended up being more of a vacation. We enjoyed ourselves so much. My husband previously stayed here while he was interviewing for his new job and he had the same experience then as well! I do wish the Beach Pit was open during the week more, we tried to order food while playing at the pool Monday but they aren't open all week. That would be my only negative, if you can even call that a negative. I am not sure where it could be located, but a small washer and dryer in the room would have been so helpful. We would stay here again as well as recommend it to anyone!
"Fantastic Springbreak"
This is our second year visiting Carolina Winds during Spring Break. Each year the experience surpasses the previous. We reserved a 3 bedroom condo and it far exceeded our expectations. Carolina Winds is located to everything (amusement parks, attractions, and restaurants). A magnificant oceanfront property. Can't wait until 2018.
"We visit every year"
Awesome rooms. Right on the beach. 1 bedroom and 3 bedroom suites are located in the building right on the beach which is awesome. Higher floors have awesome views. 2 bedroom suites are located in the other building which is just across the street and has a lazy river. Great hotel, great location. Close to grocery stores, main avenue with plenty of mini golf locations, etc.
"Nice place and friendly staff"
It being off season, we got the 3 bedroom condo, south side, 11th floor. The views are truly amazing! The room itself was plenty for my family of 4 (kids are adults) but I'm still in denial they grew up so fast! I love Carolina Winds! So much so, we booked a week in July.
"Great Place to stay in Myrtle Beach; family stays every year"
Great location, the staff were more than helpful when I asked for recommendations. The setup was wonderful for our family. It allowed the adults to stay up later at night and enjoy the great views. The kitchen and bath were extremely clean. Loved the pool and gym. We will be back.
"A very nice stay in Myrtle Beach"
Well, in two words: Simply awesome! The staff at the front desk were cordial, helpful and friendly. They gave us a lot of info about Myrtle Beach... The view from the room was breathtaking. We had a clear view of the ocean from the balcony, and could just sit in the balcony in the night, enjoying the view of waves lapping the shore... The beach is next to the hotel (two minute walk), and is spectacularly clean... The hotel is also conveniently located from most restaurants, entertainment etc.
"One of My FAVORITE places to be!!!!"
Stayed in November!! So relaxing and friendly people abound!! So the room itself needs a little work but didn't stay in it all day and it was after the hurricane. Love the staff, the Housekeepers are the best, and the area can't be beat. We come as often as possible and hope to maybe buy a condo unit and stay each winter. Fall/winter is a great time for Snowbirds here. The staff is very friendly and smiles along with warm greetings happen daily. Thanks for a great stay!!!
