"Almost like home!"
This was our 1st time at Comfort Inn, and it was super great! The place is cozy, clean, and the service for all areas was amazing! We will definatly be staying there again whenever we are in St. Petersburg.
"One of the Best!"
One of the friendliest and most professional teams I've encountered in quite some time! GM Jeremy Robinson knows how to pick the best! Eddie was great checking us in and Alex was helpful when checking us out. Our billing was correct. Vicky made the stay really special by helping us feel we were home. The cookies in the evening were yummy! Housekeeping was friendly and approachable. Requests were responded to very promptly. The room and the property were clean and well kept. The recommendations on places to dine were perfect! We totally enjoyed our visit.

Sheer genius. Whomever owns and staffs this beauty knows what he or she is doing. Flawless from experience to the quality of the washcloths is the only word I can come up with. I am speechless. I have never stayed in a Comfort In and Suites that was this remarkable. So clean even the CARPETS smelled nice, lush linen on the bed, plush towels, everything in perfect working order AND condition. Not even so much as a stray tuft of lint on a drape. The staff... if I ran an establishment like this I would poach these people right out from under them, money is NO object. The LOVELY Vickie who welcomed you as if she had been waiting for YOU and YOU ALONE all day, and prepared a room special for you (and she bakes for visitors! Who does this these days!?) The charming fellow who checked us out at the end of our stay - he made me feel like he REALLY was sorry to see us go; surely we were his FAVORITE visitors. It was peaceful, serene, quiet, and warmly wonderful. Forget ANY other hotel or motel anywhere nearby and make THIS your destination. What a wonderful place to stay.
"BEST Comfort Inn I have stayed in in a LONG Time"
Absolutely great staff, from Eddie who checked me in, to Vickie who baked cookies in the evening to Ilya in housekeeping. Pool was perfect temp and chemically well balanced. Excellent wifi and business office/room with everything I needed to do business there. Great little bodega stuff in lobby. Breakfast was moderate but well managed.
"Anniversary"
Outstanding stay- We spent our 31st anniversary here and had 2 great dinners on the waterfront in St. Petersburg. The staff was nice and the room was very clean. The Jacuzzi was a delight as were the rates. We are coming back again.
"Visiting Florida..."
I stayed for 1 week in this hotel. The room was nice, a big bed and a big tv. The daily cleaning was good, only the bathtub was far too smalll for a adult...problably it was designed for a underweight midget...well, there is a outside pool available (even steven). As for the service, just great. One thing ,as a European guest, the breakfast is just crap: plastic dishes, forks etc, no change in the menu for the whole week.... For a 4 star hotel this should not be. But overall a nice stay. Cheers
"Home Away From Home at the Amazing Comfort Inn and Suites"
We have stayed at this specific Comfort Inn and Suites more than once and have been very pleased with each time we have done so. Our room was not only large but very clean and comfortable. Our king bed was so comfortable and cozy. The staff was phenomenal....helpful, friendly, smiling, willing to go that extra step to make our stay a wonderful one. The morning breakfasts provided a variety of breakfast items to cover the various tastes and habits of each patron there. We were impressed with the staff that kept the items refilled as soon as anything on the menu dwindled down to a few servings. The atmosphere encouraged communication with staff and other travelers who were staying at the Comfort Inn.
"Last minute reservation"
I just got to my room and I have to say this place is amazing the staff is super friendly and helpful. I booked this to avoid being stuck in 2 and a half hour rush hour traffic for a doctor's appointment. I was concerned but this place is clean and comfortable. I'm already planning my next trip!
"Matthew"
We had to be evacuated from eastern Florida because of Matthew. We were able to get the last room available on Wednesday for one night. I'm glad we got it. All rooms all over Florida were taken because of the hurricane. The motel is convenient to everything in St Petersburg,Tampa by auto.I would not say it is convenient to travel by foot. The rooms seem almost new,very good bed and pillows. Everything is clean and fresh smelling. Nice large TV with fast internet. The breakfast room actually had good food and a nice variety. Alissia is the rooms attendant,and she is constantly cleaning tables,making sure food is resupplied,and asking if you need anything. Very pleasant first thing in the morning. My new best friend Alex,helped us get accommodations for Thursday and Friday. He was friendly,knowledgeable about the area. I can't think of any motel not wanting a desk Manager as good as he. My second best friend,Eddie,weekend desk manager helped us to get booked in for Saturday. He is another A+ guy,friendly,helpful,told us some cool places to explore. If we didn't have the thought of "Would our home be there after Mathew",it would have been a perfect stay. As we were leaving the motel it was as if we had been on a cruise,people saying goodbye ,even the maintenance guy wished us good luck when we get home. Definitely will stay there again when we go to Saint Petersburg. Ps. Our home made it through Mathew unscathed.
"Very pleased!"
Clean and spacious rooms. Comfy bed, super sweet staff! The cookies were wonderful that they bake for you at night! Breakfast was good. No complaints! Would stay again. The lady at check in reminded me of going over to my grandmas she was so perky and helpful and just seemed genuinely thrilled that you were there and couldn't wait to tell us about the cookies and what we were having for breakfast! Very nice lady
"Nice!"
SUCH comfortable beds! I got a really good nights sleep because the mattress was SO comfortable. I am disabled and actually slept well on this mattress. The room was clean, comfortable, a little small but there were just the two of us. We plan on staying again when we visit family. We were all able to meet and have breakfast at the Cracker Barrell not too far from the motel. Might be a walk if you don't have a car. The staff pretty friendly. I wish I knew what kind of mattresses those were!

"Best customer service and extremely clean"
I traveled all through Florida recently with a well thought out schedule. However, this stop was not planned. Yet, It was the nicest hotel we stayed at in Florida. Most excellent customer service...above and beyond service. Great location with restaurants near by. You won't be disappointed.
"Great hotel amenities and breakfast!"
We went with a group of 25 people and the service was flawless. The workout room was great. Everything was excellent! Rooms were clean. The reception area was friendly and professionals. Love everything about it.
"Short but Sweet"
The front desk staff were exceptionally helpful and pleasant. The hotel is a little off the beaton path but within 25 minutes of everything from Tampa to St. Peter's Beach to Clearwater Beach. I didn't use the pool, the complementary breakfast or the WiFi so no comments about that. The room was clean and they cared for it everyday by the time I returned from the beach.
"Group Trip for a Week"
I booked 7 rooms for a church group trip to St. Petersburg for a week. I could not have asked for more. The staff was accommodating, friendly, helpful, and wonderful. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable. The cookies in the lobby and the hot breakfast with a wide variety of other breakfast foods kept my group happy and well-fed during our stay. I highly recommend this hotel for business, family, and group travel!
"Nice & clean small hotel"
1.Customer service = 10+ 2. Cleanliness = 10 3. Room space = 9 4. Bathroom space = 4 5. Breakfast & daily cookies 10 I would recommend this hotel to all individuals n small families. Vicky was exceptional, thanks to her we've added St.Pete to our list of places to live!
"Great Staff"
We were there for two nights and the beds were the most comfortable I have ever slept in in a hotel. The staff is amazing. Nothing is too much for them and the girl in the breakfast room makes it a pleasure to start your day. There were quite a few restaurants close by and it was very convenient since we weren't driving. I would stay there again in a heartbeat.
"Great Location and Service"
The staff is very delightful at this hotel located in a prime spot, just off Gandy with easy access to major arteries to shopping, Tampa and Beaches. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The free morning breakfast buffet is great. Small pool but clean and ideal for a cool off from the Florida heat. Would recommend to anyone visiting the area.
"Small vacation"
It was a very nice and clean place. Employees are very friendly specially the employee in charge of the breakfast she is amazing. The only thing I can complain about is that the beds were too hard to sleep on. Other than that room was very clean and housekeeping was amazing on their job. Thank you!
"Great service"
Hotel staff were great and although the pool is small it is sufficient. Breakfast is what it is lol, afterrall it is a free buffet, can't complain. Rooms were comfortable but what made the stay was the staff, very helpful in finding great places to eat.

The employees at this hotel were exceptional. They were very kind and personal. We received the best customer service at this hotel. One employee, Vicky, befriended our family. She took time to share information on St. Petersburg and what areas / activities would be recommended for our family. Vicky went out of her way to help us ensure we had everything we needed and had a servant heart. Thank you Vicky for being so kind to our family and taking good care of us! The hotel was clean and breakfast was good.
"Comfortable room, lots of pillows"
I was pleased with the room overall. There was a breakfast in the morning, but not much at all for eating gluten free, since I have celiac disease. A hard boiled egg and a piece of fruit doesn't go far! Seems to be a little over priced for the quality.
"Clean and cozy business trip"
I frequently stay in "Comfort Inn" hotels due to consistency in cleanliness, decor, quiet buildings, maintenance/upkeep, and safety. This hotel was no exception. It fulfilled all of my needs on this business trip and was very accommodating of my late check-in time (I checked in close to 2 am after work). Overall a great hotel and one I would definitely consider staying at in future.
"Good for business traveler"
This was an okay travel stop, but not a place for an extended vacation. It had an unheated tiny pool in a shaded spot where it never got any sun. I never saw anyone in it. For a CI, Alesia kept the breakfast area clean and well stocked until the very end of the slotted hours. Vicki was very friendly at check-in. Rooms clean and furnished nicely.
"Good food, comfortable bed"
For the price I expected this to be a cleaner room.The carpet in the corners & along the walls needed to be vacuumed more regularly. The shower head did not function correctly & the bathtub was old & therefore, discolored. Staff were very helpful, breakfast was great & the beds were comfortable. However, if I had paid full price I would have been very disappointed.
"Pleasant and friendly place to stay !"
We found this to be a clean, friendly, nice place to stay for business trip. I wouldn't consider this hotel to be a vacation destination as it's a bit out of the way from beaches but a great option near freeway and bridge to Tamps.
