Compostela Beach Club

Stayed here with family including 2 kids aged 7&9. The children loved it as there is so much to do for them; swimming, games etc. For adults I recommend getting the All inclusive although the food is not superior but it is good enough and makes things easier. The Hotel has a small shop for snacks etc. Also you can find Many books and magazines in the play area. The Rooms are big and clean. For stars because of the food.

Spent the week over new year 2014 here. I booked this hotel on the recommendation of a friend, even though it was only 3 star. As a rule I generally stay 4* plus, especially in Spain, but I was told it was fab!! And so it was...... Our flight was delayed and so we missed all the evening dinner and entertainment, however we were greeted ever so friendly by Sylvia and told we had a packed lunch of sandwiches, fruit and biscuits with water, all in the fridge, chilling nicely waiting for us. We dumped our suitcases and went for a drink! The bar staff were genuinely please to see us and made an effort with the children straight away and made them laugh and smile. Breakfast was very much needed, full English, with Spanish omelettes, pancakes, Danish, croissants, ham, cheese, selection of breads We really enjoyed breakfast every day. snacks are basic, breads, ham and cheese, with fresh salad and dressings with fruit and ice cream, the later snacks had hot dogs and chips for the kids, everything you need for light snacks round the pool. Dinner I found lovely, I have read other reviews, and I cant see why people are complaining. There was always fresh meat on offer, roast beef, chicken breast, pork loin steaks, pork chops. Vegetables and rice were always available with different potatoes and or mash. If that doesn't suit your needs, choose chips. The fish I had most nights, grilled hake, seared tuna steaks, fresh sea bass with garlic! For kids at meal times it was more basic, but this suited our kids, rice, ham croquettes, burgers, nuggets, hot dogs, chips, pizza, Salad. There was one night (oriental night) where we bought the kids a pizza and cheese burger off the bar menu, BUT our kids don't like oriental food, so we cannot complain!!

My wife and I paid our third visit to Compostela Beach Golf Club apartments in December and once again were delighted with our stay Dont be put off by the Golf title .... you are only 10 minutes walk from the best beach on the island (Las Vistas) and there is adequate access for the fleet of foot and disabled people to enjoy all the attractions around The apartments themselves are first class with views either over the Atlantic Ocean or over the Golf course and up into the mountains.....SPECTACULAR We loved the quiet pool area which was astro turfed and great to walk on without fear of slipping. There is plenty for the kids to play on / with and a bus stop outside for trips. The staff are excellent and cant help you enough. I was unfortunate enough to end up in hospital with an infection and a wonderful lady from reception got me to hospital and popped in to visit .... THATS the level of service and quality you get

Had a weeks stay here in August & was pleasantly surprised. its 3 star rated so don't expect 5 star service & you won't be disappointed.rooms are very spacious & clean & there is a kitchen as well. Pool is lovely & the entertainer is very hard working and a very nice guy. We stayed all inclusive & to be honest the food could have been a little better but just about adequate for 3 star i suppose.....its quite a walk to the beach & a lot more than 800 metres as stated in brochure,so if you tire easily best to get a taxi ( about 5 euros ). I would stay here again but probably on a self catering holiday.

Me and my girlfriend spent two weeks here all inclusive th rooms Are faultless th staff Are superb, th entertainer David Does a excellent job considering his resources good could improve but there is always summat for everyone. My only concern was no aircon so th fan is must. Hope you all enjoy it like i did and i would come back again

Stayed two weeks all inclusive from the 9th to the 23rd of Sept. Had an absolute blast of a time and met some lovely people and great Hotel staff. A special thanks goes to Jonathan the bar man, who I had a good laugh with and all ways remembered all our groups drinks even down to bringing me drinks out whilst sat in the bar area without even asking! Our days were filled with fun as we actively took part in games that were run by the fabulous and all ways smiling David. we thoroughly enjoyed or time playing the games with him and he was very open and we were able to speak to him more as an old friend than as a member of staff. The drinks in the bar are fine on a/i, and the a/i cocktails ( so I was told by those in our group) were all good too. The food in the restaurant is ok, dont expect 5 star grub, we ate out on our last night as a treat, but for 13 other days of our stay we ate in the restaurant, bar a couple of lunches when we were out. We had room 160, which we found very warm at all times, tho not enough to complain or ask to be moved, the rooms are a decent size and layout. We had transfers from the airport included in out package deal, but opted for a taxi from the airport on our first day, this cost 25 and took only 15 mins During our stay we visited Siam Parc and Loro Parc and would defiantly suggest them as a trip out!

stayed here 2nd -12th sept 2014 on a sc basis. lovely apartments, very spacious and and fully equipped. the staff were very helpful as I had had an accident a couple of days before and couldn't walk very well so they put us in a downstairs apartment adjacent to the pool. we found all the staff really nice and friendly and we did pay for food on a few occasions. you can pay for a all you can eat breakfast, lunch, or dinner as you want it and we found the food very nice especially the breakfasts. the only downside is the shop on site. it could do with being open a bit more. location is quite a walk to las Americas and los christianos but saying that if you were staying further into any of these resorts it would be a longer walk to get to the other one so we found it ideal to have the best of both. we would definitely stay here again. thankyou compostela... :) :)

We stayed here on a self catering basis for the last ten days of august. We had a lovely family holiday, our apartment was lovely although no air conditioning had everything we needed to self cater. I found all the staff very friendly and helpful especially Sylvia on reception. David the entertainer was fantastic but some of the evening entertainment was a little questionable. We did eat at the hotel a couple of times and found it ok. Pizza were lovely. Weather was beautiful and would definitely return to Tenerife in the future and would stay here again no doubt.

Brilliant place.. Great entertainment.. 10 mins walk away from everything.. Rooms always cleaned, food is good even if you are a fussy eater, very friendly staff.. I am a clean freak n I was impressed.. I would go back again tomorrow!

It was my first visit, but for sure I'll go back again in the winter. Friendly employees, even at the restaurant. And surprisingly good food too! Truly value for money. Rooms a little bit dated, but very clean.

Just returned after a weeks holiday with my children and mother. After reading all the reviews before we went , bad reviews about the food etc . I was very impressed with the food , the staff and the cleanliness . I am well travelled and this was booked as a last minute during school holidays so wasn't cheap but was good value for money considering the hike in prices .

We are a family of five who have just returned from here, absolutely loved the place. Rooms were very clean and spacious although would benefit from air-conditioning as it was hot, hot, hot. Pool was great too not deep so you could relax whilst the kids were in the pool, my 9 year old loved it, he was constantly in the pool with his snorkel. Food was fine it is a three star and you get what you pay for, you want better food than pay for it. David the entertainer works so hard, he struggled getting some people up to take part in games and things, but my family were always up and having a laugh he thanked us for that at the end of the holiday (some holiday makers definately need to lighten up and laugh a little) David was absolutely brilliant, great with the kids and adults alike, loved him. Lovely place, great holiday and lovely staff (especially David) Thank you to everyone at Compostela for making this a lovely holiday for my family :)

Just returned from a weeks holiday, value for money, get what you pay for. Rooms are massive, great size. Pool is great not too deep and ideal for young children or those who don't like deep water. Food is basic (if your staying all inclusive) can't expect 5 star for 3. Bar/restaurant staff are lovely and very quick to remove glasses, plates and clean up. Only downside is the entertainment, there's only 1 entertainer so can't really blame him as he doesn't have many resources to use. He tries to keep everyone happy and is always smiling. Also it's about a 20 minute walk into the main centre and can be quite tiring in the heat.

Very basic accommodation, however has everything you need, with extras available to hire : fan, iron, safe etc... Small and friendly complex. The on site supermarket has a small range of goods which are over priced compared to the local supermarket ten minutes away.

Stayed here from 12 July 2014 for two weeks (self catering). Could'nt fault it . First week ate out most days but second week we took up the 3 day all inclusive offer.27 euro's each per day-min of 3 days. Some people groaned at price but it is easily comparable to eating out,and when you add drinks, easily worth the cost. After the A,I. we went to eating out again ,but had breakfast in the hotel for the remaining mornings(at 6.50 euro ,cant complain). We never had any problems with the food .There was always something to MOST peoples tastes ,and the girls could always get icecream n'pop no problem. entertainment was good,nearly all done by david ,a little pocket dynamo of a guy, he was great. worked his socks off. On reception you had Sylvia , who again was great and a font of local knowledge . In fact all the staff were good rooms were cleaned regularly and bedding changed every other day. I,m sorry to say that the bad reviewers obviously expected 5 star for 3 star prices. We would definately go again

Everything about this hotel was amazing! I stayed here with some friends in July for a week I will never forget. Rooms are a good size and very clean. the food/catering there is more than adequate, made all the more enjoyable by the fantastic, friendly and fun loving staff! David, the entertainer, has been mentioned in many reviews and this one shall be no different! He worked near non stop for the duration of our stay, and absolutely made our holiday! If you don't enjoy your stay at this hotel, I'm afraid it's probably you that has the problem. We are already planning our next trip to this hotel, need I say more?

Just returned from a fort nights holiday in the Compostella Beach Golf. We had a fantastic time with friends. We were self catering so cannot comment on the food in the Restruant . Snacks were good. We ate out in the numerous bars , pubs and Restaurants close to the hotel. The pool area is spacious with plenty of sun beds but you need to be early to get your spot. Day time and night time entertainment available with kids club. Recommended to families and couples. Nightlife in Las Americas is only a short walk from the hotel. New shopping centre due to open across the road from the complex with a large supermarket on site.

Just returned from a 10 night all inclusive holiday. Apartments were very clean and spacious. Nice size pool. Bit of a mare getting a sunbed if u were not down by pool by 8:45 ish. Food on all inclusive seem to get better as holiday went on. Plenty of choice. All staff seemed friendly and helpful. David the Entertainer did a brill job in the day and evening. Only criticism would be that they could probably do with another person as no Entertainment on his 2 days off day or evening. Overall a nice place.

Having read some bad reviews before leaving for Tenerife I was worried about the hotel we had picked.On arrival we had missed the all inclusive dinner but they offered to make us some sandwiches.In general there was a large variety of food available and we always found something we liked.The all inclusive drinks covered most drinks and the other drinks were about half price for all inclusive customers.The only downside of this was that all inclusive drinks ended at 11pm which was slightly dissapointing.All of the bar staff where extremely friendly especially Abel who always remembered our drinks.The entertainment was very good it included watersports , bingo , animal shows , live music , games and a childrens disco.The entertainment was made by David who does an amazing job and is excellent with the kids.David has only been in the job 2 weeks but he looks like he hadbeen there for years.the only downside was that the entertainment had 2 days off per week and it would be nice for someone to cover for David on his days off.The cleaners did a great job of cleaning the apartments and also poolside and the customer services were very helpful.The apartments are a short walk to the beach and the local strip Veronicas also Siam Park is a 5 minute Taxi away.In general the hotel was amazing I would reccomend it to anyone and I will hopefully return there in a few years time.

Me my wife and my little girl stayed here between 6th to 20th of june 2014 in room 154. Had a really good too weeks all inclusive. Drinks are good, lager tastes good, wine ok, vodka and long drinks have very good measures and the sangria was beaut. Food was good, was never hungry and on only 2 occasions did I not fancy what was on offer. Its a 10/15 minute walk into both christianos and las americas. Our little girl is 3 so we took our push chair as we knew it was a walk into the resorts. Pool is good and chilled out and so is the bar. Rooms are spacious and clean, the cleaning staff do a fantastic job in the rooms every day. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Made some very good friends both english and dutch while we were there and had some good days and nights.
