Drury Inn San Antonio Northwest Medical Center

The style is a bit old-fashioned but the room was large for a downtown hotel, clean, and very comfortable. They offer a decent free breakfast as well as free evening drinks & snacks. The staff was friendly and efficient.

My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights recently. I will definitely go back. The hotel staff was awesome. We were on the river side and on the second floor....which I thought may be noisy, but it wasn't. The room was comfortable and the location was very good and convenient!

We had the best time in San Antonio on the river walk. It is absolutely gorgeous. The locals are so friendly. A must see is the Alamo. After a walk on the river walk, take a carriage ride through town. Great hospitality at the drury inn and suites

Excellent hotel and staff will definitely be staying again. I loved the breakfast and the 5:30 kickback. Staff was amazing the work out facilities were up to date and the pool was nice as well. The terrace is really nice

First time staying at at Drury. Choice this location for close proximity to the Riverwalk. Fabulous location, elevator to river for challenged people, dogs welcome! Many many extras, great staff. Read up on benefits as well as their Gold key plan. You'll be surprised.

We took my daughter and her friends to San Antonio to celebrate her birthday. We had a 2 queen suite. The rooms are recently updated, clean, spacious and nice. The suites are wonderful because it is really two separate rooms with a door between, and a sleeper couch. The location was great, you can exit the hotel directly onto the River Walk. Free soda and popcorn all afternoon was great for the girls. The hot breakfast was very good, we ate eggs, potatoes, waffles, oatmeal, tea, coffee and juices. Parking was fine, on site in a garage, for $16. The hotel is very near an excellent restaurant, called Acenar, which is a little off the beaten path so not quite as hectic as other restaurants on the river. We rode the river tour and had such a great time, our tour guide was wonderful and the Christmas lights on the river were magical. My only complaint is that there seemed to be a lot of kids in the hotel suites, and there were doors slamming in the hall with kids running up and down until past midnight, but in the main bedroom it was quiet and the hall noise was not a big problem. The pool and hot tub were out of commission which was disappointing, but they allowed us to go across the street to the Drury Plaza to use their rooftop pool/hot tub on the 47th floor, the view as incredible. I highly recommend this hotel.

We stayed at a Drury last night & loved their hospitality so much we booked a room for tonight on the river. Appears to be an old hotel, but it's very clean, free alcoholic drinks & food nightly. Definitely love their friendly staff & amenities. Will come again.

The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The hotel was right on the River Walk which was wonderful. The staff was friendly but could have explained the parking better so we knew where to park that was closest to our room. Beware of the parking charge. We weren't told when we checked in and then received a bill for $17 a day to park there. We would definitely stay there again.

Family Trip (4) - this was exactly what we wanted right on the Riverwalk - steps and room overlooked Riverwalk. Tip: Reminder good view of Riverwalk equals "sounds" from people walking below. If you are good with that ask for River View...if not ask for street view. Excellent Customer Service - we got in early from Amtrak Train Station. They welcomed us to rest in the lobby, then called my cell once room was available. **Highly Recommend.

My 15 year old daughter and I stayed here for the Valero Alamo Bowl. The hotel is located right on the Riverwalk, which is awesome. We'd never been to San Antonio before, and didn't even know we wanted to come to San Antonio, but wow, am I glad we did! Our room was very clean; service was good, and we enjoyed the rooftop jacuzzi. As vegetarians, although we had some options, the hot breakfast and happy hour offerings were not necessarily our first choice, but it still adds a lot to the value. The double Bloody Mary I got tonight was definitely not light on the vodka. We loved the high ceiling in our room, as well as the comfortable bed and sheets. All in all, it was a really great stay, and there's no way you can go wrong here. San Antonio was wonderful, and we hope to be back someday.

We took an impromptu trip to San Antonio and wanted a room with a river view....this hotel fit the bill. The price included a hot breakfast and happy hour food and drinks. Each adult was given a voucher for three alcoholic beaverages. The building was not originally a hotel so rooms had some oddities which added to the charm. Windows actually opened for fresh air. Take time to check out the rooftop pool. Would definately stay again.

Excellent place to stay right on the river walk in the middle of everything. We stayed in a king room and it was great. The hotel is inside an old bank with fantastic ambience and you can still see the old vaults in the bottom level. The cocktail hour, light dinner, and breakfast made the slightly higher cost than hotels in the are completely worth the money! Would stay again in a heartbeat

I stayed here while at a conference. Perfect location with exceptional service. Loved the complementary snacks and drinks. I enjoyed the gym and rooftop pool. The room was comfortable. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel was a great location to walk to the major attractions. Very good place to stay. Breakfast was great. Staff very helpful and river right out hotel. We caught the boat about a block from our hotel. We loved the decor of our room.

Took a southeast Texas trip for the holiday's. First time here. Great location, away from the loud part of the river walk but so convenient. Breakfast fantastic, great way to start the day. Great views from rooftop pool area and other vantage points. Loved it.

I love staying at the Drury Inn...... excellent service, with complimentary evening snacks/drinks and a full hot breakfast. Located on the famous Riverwalk, you have easy access to all the tourist sites, as well as shopping, dining and entertainment. A return visit is a must!!

Just leaving San Antonio after taking a trip there for my mom's birthday. Drury Inn was in an excellent location, with great breakfast and food for happy hour. The beds were incredibly comfortable and clean. Service was excellent.

stayed here with 2 other couples for a friends 40th birthday...the hotel is right on the river walk & centrally located. very nice rooms & plenty of space. best of all we were all given a card that granted us a free buffet style breakfast each morning & 3 free drinks & appetizers each evening!! very classy & I will make this our new go to place when visiting San Antonio :)

Amanda( reception), Oscar(manager) and Johnny( transportation helper)were so caring and helpful when I left my purse in the cab from the airport to the hotel. Amanda went into action immediately trying to help me. I was so distraught. With Amanda and the help of Johnny and Oscar I got my purse and contents returned. I will forever be grateful to them. I found that all of the staff were wonderful: bartender@the kickback, the food staff, housekeepers and reception . The location was excellent right on the river walk. The dinner food was really good.

Being our first trip to San Antonio I did not know what to expect but wanted a hotel within walking distance of the major attractions. The Drury Inn & Suites San Antonio Riverwalk surely fit the picture. It is on the western end of the river loop yet only a very short distance to one of the boat stops and multiple restaurant. The first floor is street level and the ground floor brings you directly to the riverwalk. The rooms are very comfortable and nicely appointed. The hotel itself is welcoming with a very helpful and courteous staff. They held our bags as we arrived before noon which gave us a few extra hours to begin exploring the area. The complementary breakfast is far above what I would've expected based upon the cost of the room. The evening "kickback hot food and beverage" was a real surprise. I would not have expected to turn their evening hot food into our dinner with all the wonderful restaurants but based on lunch being later in the day and more elaborate than what we're used to we simply did not have room to eat anymore. Parking is a dedicated parking facility attached to the hotel with in and out access for one reasonable daily rate. This allowed greater access to drive to the surrounding missions and view the city in a more comfortable manner. I know there may be more eloquent facilities and I'm confident you could spend a lot more but we found the Drury Inn & Suite San Antonio Riverwalk to be the perfect hotel for our 1st visit to San Antonio
