My husband and I just spent 3 nights at El Paseo in Miami Beach and want to rave about this hotel. From the warm welcome by Israel to the assistance in leaving by Victor, everyone exceeded our service expectations. A special thank you to Leonardo who pleasantly and patiently corrected an error I had made in my booking. The error was all mine but he went the extra mile to fix the situation. I had read some reviews about noise but we did not experience this at all. Our room was spotlessly clean, well equipped and quiet. We were offered a room on the third floor which we accepted. We are both retired but the stairs were easy and we did not carry our bags up or down...another example of great service. We enjoyed the wonderful coffee and newspaper in the lounge in the morning and the complimentary wine in the evening. Like others have said, the beach experience was lovely. This was our first visit to Miami Beach and we could not have picked a better location than Espanola Way. We had dinner here all three nights, each different. We toured the city extensively and the free trolley outside our door made getting around a breeze. We hope to come back to Miami Beach and when we do, we will stay at El Paseo again.

"Wonderful Vibe"
This hotel is in a great, lively location on Espanola Way. The staff is very attentive, and welcoming. High 5 to Israel. He is a top-notch kind of guy. He was friendly at check in, and friendly when showing us an optional room with a balcony. The only thing better than Israel, was the absolute comfort of the beds and bedsheets. Valet parking was a bit hard to find, but our error, not the hotels. We stayed in a very large 2 bedroom suite, with kitchen. Unfortunately, none of these room types have balconies, but because of that, they are very quiet. To my surprise, there was a handwritten birthday card, along with a bottle of Sangria. It is a nice feeling, when one feels welcome.

Wonderful location, amongst all the restaurants with live music & singing each night.
The rooms are very small but clean and great security. Happy hour each day and free coffee machine in the library. No lifts to upstairs rooms so be aware if you unable to climb stairs.
"Charming hotel in a charming neighborhood"
The exterior is quaintly historical, but the rooms are modern and roomier than I expected. Espanola Way is chock-a-block with restaurants and the beach is a quick walk away. There's a free wine happy hour Thursday-Sunday. The hotel provides free beach towels and two small bottles of water each day. There's also a mini bar and enough room in the small fridge to stock your own beverages, if you choose.
"Great experience"
My husband and I are spending 4 days in South Beach and these past two days have been amazing! El Paseo is in a prime location and just walking to the beach. The beach staff especially has been awesome. Demetrius, Janet and Joao are fantastic. We've come to the beach twice and have been greeted warmly and they've been super helpful!
