We just finished a week vacation at the Grand Sirenis. We booked through BookVIP and I have to say that I'm extremely pleased with the entire trip, all the way from booking through the conclusion of the trip. We got a phenomenal deal and had an excellent trip!

What Our Customers Are Saying

Written Review

"Perfect for a Weekend Trip to Fountain of Youth"
We stayed in an upstairs unit in the two story hotel, and had a nice outside chairs and table if we didn't want to be in the room. Super comfortable bed, slept like a rock. Room also features large t.v., fridge, coffee maker, and a humongous shower. As I have said in many of my reviews, if it has a coffee maker, I love it. This room did not disappoint, and it was even Starbucks pods. Big thumbs up for that feature. Walking distance to historic town center for medium fitness people. It's about 2 miles I think, maybe a little less, but there are bars and shops along the way that you can stop in to cool down.

"Traveling on a budget"
Standard rooms great service better than average breakfast yes they have computers available to use but they are slow. You need to book ahead as they are busy they are right in the thick of it it is just down the street from most attractions they do have the tour bus Trolleys pick you up right out front so you really don't have to drive. The trolleys give a decent tour and you can jump on and off (until 4:30) to visit the shops or museums as you see fit
"Good Deal and Nice Remodel of the Rooms"
The Inn is small but the rooms have been remodeled and are cute and comfortable. Big fluffy pillows and good mattress and covers. There's an attached restaurant but it only serves breakfast and lunch. There is a free continental breakfast and a $5 voucher for a bigger breakfast (think grits and eggs). The only think that would have made it a 5* for the price is if housekeeping would clean the baseboards at least once a week. other than that, it was clean and quiet. Oh, there's also a pool. I rated it high for value, comfort and location.
"Spring Break Family Vacation - April 2017"
Our stay was very comfortable. The room was clean and inviting. The staff are great, helpful and pleasant. The train horns were not a problem to us because we were so exhausted from our all day excursion. The morning breakfast was okay but we like the $5.00 voucher if we were interested in having breakfast at the Jaybird's Restaurant. The location of the hotel to the scenic areas were great for us since we had our vehicle. If you didn't drive, the trolley tours to downtown are available on site. Will we stay again? yes indeed!
"Repeat Business"
They say the highest praise is repeat customers. Well this place definitely deserved our loyalty after the last trip here. Once again our room was clean and inviting with many useful amenities as well as beautiful decor. The staff was friendly and courteous. We had a room on the first floor and my wife wanted a second floor room. I turned around and was immediately given the keys to our new room. They have a wonderful continental breakfast and their very own restaurant if you want something a bit more substantial. It's very close to town without being priced like some of the others. Very affordable, kid friendly, also good for a romantic weekend. This is our second time here and you still can't go wrong with this place.
"Very nice motel"
This is very close to downtown. The trolley will pick you up and bring you back. The rooms are very clean and the beds sleep well. The pool is small, but the kids loved it and it was clean also. There are also tables with umbrellas there too. I would recommend the Jaybird to anyone.
"Perfect place to stay"
Room was clean and beds were comfy! Coffee pot, hair dryer in room. They have a shuttle that picks you up and takes you to downtown Augustine. Free breakfast in the lobby, which was very big and what I really enjoyed was all the free coffee you want and it was GOOD coffee. They have a workout room with wonderful equipment and a outdoor pool. The staff was great and always willing to help. I am making Jaybird's Inn my place to stay.
"Great place to stay!"
We enjoyed our stay very much. Staff was very friendly, hotel and room were very clean. Ate at their restaurant next door for breakfast and it was really good food and great service. Would definitely recommend.
"Great place"
My sister and I were traveling up the coast stopping at different places. Our first stop was St Augustine. Found this little gem searching trip advisor. When we were pulling in I was not to sure bc of the hotel next door but what a surprise we got when we went in. The rooms have been remodeled and everything was very nice. It's not the Ritz but prefect for a over night visit!
"Solid moderately priced hotel"
We did an overnight stay while visiting St. Augustine. It is a drive from the historical district but we knew that going in. With that said, if you stay in the historic district you'll pay much more for the room and likely pay extra to park your car. Rooms and property have been renovated and tile in the rooms is a welcome upgrade to smelly carpet. Staff was friendly. For those who need a workout facility this one won't disappoint. An elliptical, treadmill and two stationary bikes as well as two sets of power blocks. The hotel offers a free continental breakfast(cereal, waffles, muffins) as well as a full service option(jaybirds restaurant). We opted for the full service restaurant and we were not disappointed. Wait staff was very friendly and professional. If you need a clean, moderately priced hotel and would like to support your local hotelier rather than a chain, please consider this property.
"Quaint and lovely"
I stayed here with my boyfriend for a birthday weekend getaway. It was decorated for Christmas, and the lobby was so cute. The hotel staff was helpful and pleasant. The room was fine for the price. There is a restaurant of the same name right next door with delicious food and excellent service. Located just a short drive from everything in downtown and the historic district. I would definitely stay here again.
"Great Place"
Upon check in on april 1st my friends decided to play an april fools joke on me. They contacted the hotel to ask the front desk to pretend I did not have a reservation. She played along expertly. She was so good and it was so funny. Josh was great at booking our reservations and super nice as was the other staff we came in contact with. The bus to the trolley picks you up at the hotel. The rooms were huge. Whole place was very nice. Free breakfast and there is a restaurant right next door. They have a snack room with vending and ice cream.Would love to stay here again.
"Awesome place and really friendly people"
The customer service people were great, thoughtful, informative, and helpful. The room was perfect, the continental breakfast was as perfect as it could be. The pool area was clean and private! The housekeeping personal were just as friendly as can be. (made sure we had coffee and clean towels) If we are ever in the area, will come back here.
"nice inexpensive motel"
this was a nice clean motel not far from attractions (you will need a car) St augustine isn't a huge place and very easy to access from this motel. There are restaurants nearby. old St augustine was about a 10 minute drive and the lighthouse about 20 minutes.
"Very nice place to stay"
I don't often stay at a nonchain hotel. However, the good reviews of the Jaybird Inn were correct. This hotel can compete with some of the nicer chains. The room was clean and nice. The staff was courteous and professional. Also, the restaurant on the property was very good.
"Breakfast on vacation"
This restaurant had very good food. We enjoyed everything. This restaurant had an outside patio that had a waterfall. We sat inside but windows were big so we got to enjoy the outside scene. Very relaxing. This place was very popular so we waited a little bit to be seated but once we were the waitress was very nice. I would go back there in a second if I lived in St Augustine.
"Great stay"
We couldn't have been happier with our stay from front desk staff to housekeeping to accommodations. We will definitely be back and would gladly recommend to friends and family. The Jaybird deserves 2
"Modern Decor~Clean"
This hotel is in a great location when coming in to St. Augustine. It was very clean, affordable, and surprisingly roomy. We made a last minute decision to spend a few days in the area and so I was hopeful that the reviews were accurate and they were. There is a nice restaurant on site that offers breakfast if you don't want the continental free breakfast in the lobby as well as a small bar. There is also a CVS and Walgreens across the street so everything you need is right here.
"Noice, updated facility"
Clean, with lovely bedding and fluffy towels. A bit noisy due to proximity to the road. Free breakfast was Ok, but the water is poor, so coffee and tea tasted funny. Restaurant was nice. The front desk helper was helpful. There was a travel guide on duty in the gift shop. Wi-Fi is available in the rooms and in the lobby. We had a pleasant stay.
"Pleasant surprise!"
The staff was very polite and accommodating. The room was a pleasant surprise! They had been redone and had some nice touches. Recessed lighting, granite countertops, plank tile floors and a step in shower. The room was clean and well stocked with linens. Would highly recommend this hotel for a reasonably priced stay. Very close to a lot of attractions. A quick Uber ride away from downtown St. Augustine.
"Nice place to stay"
Customer service was great! The rooms are modern and very clean. The bedroom space was big. They have a refrigerator, microwave a desk area, sitting area in room. The bathroom was a little small but, had a nice shower.I loved the floors because they had no carpet. Housekeeping was wonderful. They clean rooms everyday here. The location was perfect for getting around. They have their own restaurant on property. The restaurant was excellent. They also, provide a continental breakfast for free in the lobby. They have a nice size pool outdoor. The only bad thing is you will hear cars and trains passing by because it is by an active area.If you are a light sleeper bring ear plugs. My kids and I loved it here.
