Holiday Inn Club Vacations Scottsdale Resort

This review is long overdue. I stayed with 3 other women last September in the newly remodeled 3 bedroom unit. It was wonderful. The resort is very nicely landscaped, has 3 pools with large jacuzzis, a restaurant and bar/area with misters, a great coffee place, nice exercise room and plenty of parking. There is also a really nice fire pit area, next to the bar, which is lovely. I own a Marriott timeshare, and this is just as nice. As a matter of fact, the rooms are much nicer here, The unit we stayed in had 3 bedrooms and 3 baths and was large and beautiful The kitchen is very nice and well-stocked, even nicer than mine at home!. The unit looks just like the pictures and would be perfect for a large family or for a group of friends. I really enjoyed having my own bedroom/bathroom. The resort is next door to the Fairmont, so we walked over every morning for coffee. If you are staying around the holidays, the Fairmont has beautiful Christmas decorations and a large light display and it would be so convenient to just stroll over one evening. The best thing about this resort, besides the unit itself, is the staff. Unfortunately, because it was so long ago, I don't remember names, but the concierge recommended some great restaurants and the front desk staff was very helpful, especially with a glitch in the reservation which was my fault. We were never pressured into a timeshare presentation, a big plus in my book. I can HIGHLY recommend this Holiday Inn Vacation Club. Enjoy!

Resort was very nice with good staff. Accommodations were great, pool was beautiful and big. Breakfast was a good surprise with a great host One of the best resorts that we have stayed at. GPS guidance was not good..

We had a party of 9, 2 children and 7 adults, with 2 units. Our overall experience was very good.We rent a car so there is plenty to do. All the employees were friendly and helpful. I didn't try the restaurant there but my wife enjoyed it. Everyone enjoyed the pools, although the one pool needed cleaned from all the debris dropping from the palms. We love the full kitchen and the washer/dryer. All-in all we were all very satisfied and enjoyed our stay at the Holiday Inn Club. We normally stay at the nearby Sheraton Desert Oasis. We love that. This is our first time at a Holiday Inn Club but we were satisfied. Scottsdale is a beautiful area. How could you not enjoy it??

The kitchen and bathroom decor was how we would design our own home and the amenities were pretty great. We had the best vacation and will definitely be back!

We exchanged through Holiday Inn Vacation Club and were very pleased with our accommodations. I was glad I had read others' reviews before we(my husband and myself) went as many reviewers had mentioned the noise from neighbors. When we arrived at the resort, we requested a third floor room, which we were given and it was an end room as well so we only had one neighbor beside us and a family below....and I agree with the other reviewers-we could hear their TV's, doors opening and closing, their footsteps, etc. We always bring a sound machine when we travel(you could buy them at Walmart for about $20) and it did well to block out some of the noise. There is not much traffic in the front of the resort as it is a dead-end road, but there is quite a bit in the back, due to other resorts and apartments. Overall, not much street noise to contend with. Also, if you like it dark to sleep, the drapes are definitely room darkening. The unit we stayed in was beautiful. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms which are separated by the kitchen so each is very private. Both bedrooms have a balcony and the master bedroom shares a balcony with the living room. The master has a king bed and the other has a queen. The dining room table would easily sit 8 and the breakfast bar has another 4 seats. The living room has a flat screen TV(one in each bedroom as well) and a couch with 2 chairs. All in all, open living space with plenty of room for a large family. The resort has 4 pools, each with a hot tub. They are situated so that 3 to 4 buildings share one pool so that none is that crowded. The Splash Canyon pool is where most families hang out, as there is a huge water slide and other playthings for children, so we stuck to the Serenity Pool which was close to our room. There are pool towels in the room to bring to the pool, but don't expect thick, plush , long beach towels. These towels may be a bit longer than the shower towels, but they are not the same quality. The bed and pillows were comfortable and the sheets and coverings were soft and of good quality. The air conditioner worked well and was loud enough to drown out some outside noises. The condo had a full kitchen and everything worked well from the blender to the oven. There is an ice maker in the fridge which saved us a trip to the ice machine. There were many activities scheduled throughout the week, but most were for kids/families so we spent the majority of our time sightseeing. Very easy to get to tourist sites as the resort is close to the 101 loop that takes you around the Phoenix area.

My wife and I stayed for one night as a getaway from our hectic life. The room was beautiful and we were very appreciative of the amenities offered. The bed was exceptionally comfortable and it was exactly what we needed. If and when we have the chance we will be back. Although we were only 30 minutes from our house, it felt as if we were a world away. Thank you for the break we so desperately needed.

An easy jaunt to the Musical Instrument Museum, Frank Lloyd Wrights' house, or premium shopping made staying here so handy. Terrific restaurants all nearby that we never ate at the same place twice. (except the Cheesecake Factory- because we wanted to!) Private balcony morning coffee a pleasant relaxing experience.

We were very pleased with this resort! It was beautifully landscaped, had plenty of chairs around the pools, and our 2 bedroom unit was well stocked and very spacious. The king size bed was very comfortable, and we enjoyed the ease of adjusting the temperature control. The location was great, too. We will definitely be back!

The resort was very nice and the units were in good condition. We had plenty of room and we had a washer and dryer which was very convenient. The bed was comfortable and the pillows were excellent. There were plenty of supplies to start out the trip and there was an onsite convenience store if you needed anything additional. The pool and hot tub were right outside of our unit that made in nice to spend some time at that area, but then a short walk to our room. There are a variety of onsite activities for all ages and the concierge was very helpful in providing information upon check in to the surrounding areas. Would definitely stay there again.

We stayed here for 3 days, everyone here were very nice and helpful, on our day of departure my husband was sick so they arranged a late check out for us at no additional cost! Will definitely stay there again when we go to Arizona.

Relaxing, accommodating, peaceful, true vacation. Very clean, wonderful staff !! Enough swimming pools for everyone, parking is great!! Staff willing to help with info on nearby attractions!! There is no other place I would rather stay!!

Excellent property, crazy about the restaurant on site but the rest of the facility was great. Friendly staff and close to the freeway, very convenient.Several Pools and hot tubs with separate areas for children which made it very nice.

Small but beautiful. Six hours from the Grand Canyon. We thoroughly enjoyed a problem-free, relaxing mini vacation. The villa was clean and beautifully decorated. Activities on the property included flow yoga, Barre fusion, wine bottle decorating.

My husband and I stayed at the Holiday Inn Vacation Club for a week in a two bedroom unit. The layout was great, allowing lots of privacy. The kitchen was beautiful with new appliances, and everything was spic and span. The front desk was very helpful. Gym was very nice. The location was in the heart of Scottsdale, very close to shopping and restaurants. Will definitely return here again.

This resort is not the top of the elite resorts in the Scottsdale area, but it was definitely close! The units are well decorated, spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly and efficient with a quick check in. They let you know a timeshare tour is available without any pressure. The grounds are spotless. Great location with plenty to do or just to relax. Very happy with this resort!
