I had never stayed at this resort before but had always wanted to. The first thing that i was impressed with was the staff very helpful and polite! This is always important to me as i am sure it is with others.I thought the grounds were well maintained and clean! The unit itself was very nice!Very spacious and clean!I really liked the sitting room that was located off the one bedroom and living room! There was a nice indoor pool and gym. The resort is near Yorktown and Jamestown which we spent alot of time at each!

What Our Customers Are Saying

Written Review

"Looking forward to 2nd visit"
This is a great place to visit with family. So, looking forward to our second visit. We found Kings Creek Resort to be one of the most friendly and nicest resort we've visited. Great location near shops, restaurants, and theme parks. We hope our in-laws will enjoy coming with us this visit.
"Extraordinary"
I absolutely loved this resort. It was a very relaxing and beautiful place. The service was outstanding. This is a great place to visit with the family. I stayed in the Townes and the rooms are very spacious. I cant wait to visit again.
""What a Wonderful Four Day Vacation With Family""
Let me start by saying Kings Creek Resort is one the BEST RESORT! I ever stayed in. Trust me my wife and I stayed in a many in our time. I am not just saying this because I am a member, years before we became members we visited other resorts from the east coast to the west coast and found Kings Creek Resort to be one of the most friendly and nicest resort we've visited. We were there Nov. 28, 2013 to Dec. 1, 2013. My Mother planned the entire event. We stayed in The Townes and WOW! we had the whole unit A & B up and down. We only had one minor problem which was resolved. Everybody and had great time and everything was near by etc. shops, resturants, and them parks. We had plenty of room for everyone. My children and grand-kids, my brothers and sister and their family. My family did not want to leave so I promise them we will return on the 21st of December in about 3 weeks from now. The bed rooms, the living room, and kitchen, all was satisfying, like a home away from home. If you ever have that opportunity go I am sure you will agree. Thanks Kings Creek Plantation Resort for making our time there memberable!!
"Better and better"
Just finished my second week at the Plantation this fall. The two bedroom units in The Townes are very nice, spacious and clean. Great location close to Williamsburg. The staff is exceedingly friendly and responsive. We needed more coffee cups and they were delivered within ten minutes. Needed a lighter for the grill and it was delivered within ten minuted also. We rented these two weeks and are considering buying two weeks.
"Best Kept Secret in Williamsburg"
I'm a frequent flyer at Kings Creek. I would never stay any where else in Williamsburg. My mother and sisters and and brother in law stayed with us on this visit. It's an overall feeling of "cozy and warm", especially with the fireplace. We went shopping at the outlets while the men went golfing. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped to prepare meals for my family. Target is convenient for any food items now. I must admit, overall I love the jet tubs the most, so I can pamper myself, so take your favorite bath salts with you. Enjoy!!
"The Townes"
My mom and I stayed there for 5 nights. She uses a walker and was able to walk around the entire complex including the bathrooms easily. We used the indoor and outdoor pools. The bed linens and towels were especially clean. The fireplace was lovely and rooms comfortable. Will stay again.
"Loved the Resort and the Free Lunch!"
My husband and I spent a weekend here for a timeshare presentation. This was the best accomodation I had ever styaed in for a timeshare presentation. Normally they put you in places that make your skin crawl. Not King's Creek. They pulled out all the stops. We stayed in a one bedroom cottage. Full amenties. It's a bit of drive to the heart of Williamsburg which is the Richmond Rd strip. (That's where Captain George's and the outlets are.) Took about 20 minutes to drive there every day. But it as nice to be off the beaten path. They even treat you to lunch during your timeshare presentation. Some kind of diner, but it was good. The tour guide guy was nice. Everything was really nice. If you want a quick getaway, go!
"Better Than Expected & Great Location"
Stayed at King's Creek in a Cottage (2-story villa) through an Interval International exchange, a total of four adults and two small children. The villa itself was spacious inside with separate kitchen and dining (table for six) and two master bedrooms and bathrooms upstairs. We found the unit and grounds clean and attractive. The location couldn't be better -- right off of I-64 (exit 242 B) and next door to Water Country. The drive to Busch Gardens was only about ten minutes and the drive to Yorktown via the Colonial Parkway (which was two minutes away) only took fifteen minutes. All-in-all, we were extremely satisfied with our stay as the total experience was better than expected.
"Perfect for the parks"
We traded one of our Marriott Vacation Clubs to Kings Creek. The Townes are not nearly as nice as the Marriotts but the location is fabulous if you are going to Busch Garden or WaterCountry USA. While there we toured the new estates and I must say they are much nicer that the townes. The cottages seemed to be nicer as well. We stayed right by the pool. I would absolutely suggest Kings Creek but if going try and stay at either the estates or thecottages as they are separate units while the townes are more like townhomes with people on both sides and above.
"Very nice and new accomodations"
My husband and I stayed here for 5 days and 4 nights. We were very happy with the place. We travel to Williamsburg at least twice a year and stay in the Hampton Suites. This is the first time we stayed here and we plan to always stay at the Estates at Kings Creek from now on. The grounds, pools, and fitness room were very clean and kept in resort quality. The accomodations we stayed in were brand new and we were the first people to stay in the one bedroom suite, The pictures online do not do the rooms justice. Very quiet and peaceful area.
"Brilliant Place"
Swapped a timeshare in Portugal to stay here with 2 girlfriends. Booked a 3 bed/3bath property. On arrival check-in was easy - not busy and we were given keys a map of the property with directions to our building and tourist information plus some coupons. The property turned out to be a detached house with a front door which led into a small vestibule which had 2 doors one to the main part of the house and one to a "granny flat" type area with a separate bedroom, bathroom, sitting area and kitchenette which was basically the third bedroom. In the main area there was a reasonable sized kitchen and a large sitting area with gas fire and comfortable sofas and chairs. The dining room table was big and would easily seat 6. There was a welcome pack on arrival including coffee/tea and some condiments. The 2 bedrooms upstairs were a double and a twin both with bathrooms. Both rooms were large and the bathrooms clean. All bedrooms had a TV in with plenty of channel choice. The estate was very quiet - it was late October, I think in the summer it would be very popular and get quite busy and noisy. The location is ideal - 10 minutes from the main Williamsburg areas & Busch Gardens and 2 minutes off the freeway. There is a big Target Store 1 minute's drive away which has plenty of groceries and there are many other grocery stores nearby. We had a couple of maintenance problems but a phonecall to the front desk brought a maintenance man over within minutes to sort them out. An excellent place to stay especially out of season as it so nice and quiet, we even had a family of deer wandering around outside the house.
"Great!"
Book our vacation through williamsburgtravel.com. They have a really nice guy David working there. He helped us with our reservation, we really enjoyed our stay and got 2 Busch Gardens Tickets for free!
"Very comfortable and clean!"
My husband and I stayed at Kings Creek Estates for one week in October 2011. We had a one bedroom suite with a king size bed. I am a little germophobic and when I go to hotels I bring disinfectant wipes, etc. When I did my "once through" I came away with totally clean wipes. We had a very large bedroom with a wardrobe and a very large bathtub to soak in after a day of walking around Williamsburg. The unit had a full kitchen, laundry center off the bathroom, dining table, living room. There was a TV in the bedroom and one in the living room as well. I can't emphasize enough how clean it was, probably the cleanest place I've been. We had a nice little patio off the bedroom and chairs to use when we had our morning coffee. There is a beautiful outside pool, indoor pool, workout room. The entire grounds of Kings Creek are very nice and extremely quiet. The units look a little Cape Cod-like and are different colors, very pretty. You feel like you are in a community and live there, not that you are a hotel guest. Didn't have a lot of experience with the staff because of the self-sufficient nature of the unit, but what we did have was pleasant. Every worker that rode past on a golf cart when we took our daily walks smiled and waved. We would go there again in a minute, especially due to the cleanliness, the peace and quiet, the hominess, and the layout of the grounds.
"Enjoyed the Estates section of this development"
We exchanged our time share through Interval International and specifically traded into the "Estates" section of this resort because it was the newest area. We normally get a 2 bedroom but gambled on a one bedroom for a family of 4 as we decided that we would prefer a new, clean unit that was smaller. We were extremely glad that we made the decision that we did. Our one bedroom was plenty spacious for all of us for the week. We were fortunate enough to get an upstairs unit and it had cathedral ceilings in both the living room and bedroom. This definitely made it seem larger and more spacious. Also, the stairwell is internal in the unit so that also added an airy feeling. Our building was full the week we were there and I did not hear anyone. I am not sure though if the people below us could hear us - it seemed solid but you never know. I had considered requesting a 1st floor unit so I wouldn't need to worry about the kids making noise on the floor and that they could go right outside from the balcony. Unfortunately, it appeared that most of the first floor balconies were suspended over the terrain and the ones that were actually on the ground, you would need to crawl over the railing to get to the grass. The kitchen was a full kitchen, galley style, with a side-by-side refrigerator with ice/water in the door. The stove was full size and I think a bigger oven than I have at home. Even thought it was small it was efficient. I cooked a full Thanksgiving dinner - turkey and all. There were ample utensils in good condition - I did bring a roaster and a few other items to make turkey prep easier. They did provide paper towels, dishwasher detergent and dishwashing detergent. Provided more when we requested it at the front desk. Also there were numerous propane grills outside in good condition and we did use them. Bedroom was very large with a jetted tub in the unit. Bedroom had a nice armoire with lots of space for storage as well as drawer space in the bedside tables. Bathroom had a separate shower and sink area which provided ample space and privacy for all of us. Clean washer and dryer in the bathroom - one detergent provided. Large queen size pull out couch in living room that suited the kids. Living room had a fireplace, couch, chair and table with 3 chairs. flatscreen and DVD in living room. We found the unit to be very clean. The resort was quite expansive and provided for a nice area to walk. New playground that the kids loved. We found that the indoor pool was nice clean. Locker room was small but contained 2 nice size showers, a steam shower and a sauna. Both the sauna and steam room were in good condition. We used the tennis courts, basketball courts and shuffleboard. They had cute crafts for the kids but unfortunately we were around at the times they were offered - it looked like most were free of charge. We found the staff very friendly and helpful. We did not got any pressure on the timeshare presentation - they lady presented us with the info at check in and told here that we would call her if we were interested. We decided not to do it and she never called. We also had a dead battery on the day of check out and the staff brought jumper cables pronto. Resort very conveniently located. Harris Teeter grocery store very close and was a nice store.
"Family-friendly, excellent service, great pool, cozy condos"
We traded our Hilton points for RCI points for one of our years and decided to try this place out. This was our second stay and it was excellent both times. The front desk staff is helpful, housekeeping checked in on our needs, and the indoor pool has late hours so you can enjoy the area and come back for a relaxing swim. We have now tried both the 1 bedroom and 2 bedroom condos, and we love the 2 bedroom with all of the room - plenty of places to spread out from the more than adequate kitchen with plenty of amenities, pots and pans, microwave, etc. to the full dining room, a small breakfast nook, roomy living room with comfortable seating and a warm gas fireplace. Upstairs, we had two rooms and two bathrooms (another bathroom is off of the living room) and a washer/dryer. We definitely felt at home, and the AC took the house cooler when needed and the fireplace warmed us quickly. We had our own front porch with two wooden rocking chairs anda nice view of the outdoor pool. The resort boasts activities for kids and families and a movie in the lobby every night. We will definitely stay there again.
"Wonderful!"
This is our fourth time staying in Williamsburg. Each visit we have chosen a condo/apartment style place. Kings Creek Plantation is now our favorite. The check in process is fast and easy. The grounds are clean and the amenities are many. There are 2 pools (indoor and out), 2 hot tubs (indoor and out), tennis courts, basketball courts, gas grills, boardgames as well as daily activities. The units are very large. Our 2 bedroom unit offered a full kitchen, dining room, washer/dryer, large living room with sleeper sofa, gas fireplace, 3 flat screened TVs and DVD player, king sized bed and 2 twin beds and 2 and 1/2 bathrooms. There were nice rockers on the front porch. We loved that the rental units resemble homes in their design. After our first night, we even had an employee stop by to make sure we had enough pillows and blankets. The location is great...close to Interstate 64, Water Country, Busch Gardens and Colonial Williamsburg 10 minutes away. We will definitely return to Kings Creek.
"Awesome place!!"
The area is awesome. My wife and I love this place. We are looking forward to returning with our daughters. This is a great place to come with the family.
"LOVELY PLACE TO STAY WITH FAMILY"
We just got back from a long weekend at Kings Creek Plantation. We stayed in a 3 bedroom cottage and absolutely loved it. It was very nice and had all the things you could want. Each bedroom had its own bathroom plus a powder room right inside the door in the living room. The kitchen was fully stocked with dishes and utensils. We only cooked 1 meal on New Years Day because of course we had to have pork, sauerkraut and mash potatoes. We had everything we needed to cook that meal. Weather was perfect for that time of year 67 degrees and sunny. Lots to do in Williamsburg plus we went over to Virginia Beach one day just to check it out. Not a bad drive at all. The place also had a fireplace that kept us very toasty. They also have a very nice indoor pool that we did not have time to use. It would be a great place to stay during the summer months as it is located right beside Water Country.
