Upon arrival we were greeted by Tomas’s wonderful staff. The front desk always make it so easy to check in. Quick and Easy. We spend most of our time at the pool. Food and service was excellent. We had Miguel, Inez, Heidi, and Daniel. Excellent. The landscape, flowers and plants on the grounds always looks like paradise. Regulo is always so hard at work making the place look beautiful. He should be recognized for all his hard work. Entertainment staff was excellent as usual. So friendly and fun. Humberto and Roberto. Can’t wait to come back. Playa Grande never disappoints.

    "We absolutely LOVED IT! And felt so safe! The all inclusive food and drink package is an INCREDIBLE DEAL!"
    We absolutely LOVED IT! We went October 2020, and we felt so safe!! There was plenty of room around each table at each restaurant. Plenty of space between all the lounge chairs at the pool. The staff all had gloves, masks, and eye protection and many also had a 2nd mask. Every building had a mat to step on to sanitize our shoes. Hand sanitizer was everywhere and they even put pumps put at every table! Our massages at the Spa were absolutely fantastic...it was heavenly to get to enjoy the spa all afternoon. The hotel has such low occupancy, and we felt like it was safer that at home! We are so grateful that they gave us a great ocean front room because of the low occupancy. We took a private car from the airport so we felt so safe! The all inclusive food and drink package is an INCREDIBLE DEAL! Made to order omelets, breakfast buffet, and unlimited mimosas were wonderful! Delicious fish tacos and ceviche every day for lunch. The Cadillac Margaritas and yummy pizza by the pool were soooo good! Every one of our dinners at Calima were incredible, and the lobster night on the beach was fantastic! Plus we paid less than we paid when we were there just a few year ago! And the food and service was just as excellent! We had so much fun and it was soooo nice to get away! Fantastic vacation!! We felt so safe, and we have recommend it to all of our friends!

    The entertainment at the beach party was awesome! Roberto and Franco were awesome as well! They were energetic and had an amazing atmosphere. They did a limbo competition and our group got a bottle of tequila.

    Nataly was a great black jack dealer. Great fun had blast but only can in second.i look forward to playing tomorrow. I met some great people and my wife was able to watch us play and learn how to play both blackjack and Texas hold'em.
    "They Treat Us Like Family!"
    Our [adult] family visits Playa Grande for a week each winter. We enjoy the sun, the beautiful location, and the excellent food and drink! (My granddaughter requires a gluten-free diet, and her needs are always expertly and deliciously met.) One of the key reasons we return to this resort, rather than going to another - or even a different city in BC - is because of the attentive staff who treat us as family. In particular, we love Ismael (at Calima), Ines (poolside) and Jose (at Brigantine and the special events - Mexican Fiesta and Beach Party). They are always delighted to see us, they make sure our food and drink needs are expertly met (including the gluten-free requirements), and we've come to know about their families as they know about ours. We pay for the all-inclusive option, and definitely get our money's worth in excellent food and drinks! We highly recommend this resort and these staff members. When you go, please tell them we recommended them!

    Always enjoy my stay at Playa Grande in the Baja. The Mexican Fiesta on Sunday night is always a fun night. A special shout out to Nathaly, and her wonderful singing voice as part of the Fiesta party. Also, want to mention Franco and his exceptional dancing and singing at the party.
