Beautiful resort and service fit for a king. Anything needed, our butler Valentin accommodated. Lenny, Wilkin, Daniel, Adriana, and Christine gave us VIP treatment; they addressed us by name, they knew what we drank and often started to prepare it before we actually got to the front of the crowd. They really love their job, not for the money but the smiles on peoples faces. Luz, greeted us by name, often making us feel like celebrities. I could go on but I can't remember all of the people names. We came to they Royalton as guest, and left feeling like family.

"Fit For A King"
Beautiful resort and service fit for a king. Anything needed, our butler Valentin accommodated. "Good memories"
I liked friendliness, free room upgrdae due to malfunctioning in our initial room. Lobby and Martini bars are very good! Weather, water, sun - amazing! What i did not like: the beach bar had cocktail in the coconut in their offer but they refused me to make it... I asked several days in a row and they kept telling me that the coconuts were finished... Later I saw other people with this cocktail...
"Wonderful Vacation"
Loved the overall experience of a five star resort; we will definitely do this again. The only negative comment has to do with the constant pestering by designated staff to participate in times sharing. It was very annoying as they don't take no for an answer.
"Close to perfect for family fun!"
Waterpark, ocean waves, pool afternoon activities, endless ice cream and frozen drinks makes it a perfect spot for kids! Diamond Club a bit over rated, a lot of sales people approaching throughout the day and room assignment mix up at full capacity that couldn't be changed were a few mishaps to keep it from being perfection. Overall worth it and we made some wonderful lasting memories!

The kids love the water park. Buffet was well above expectations. Lots of activities for kids. Kids club very good. We enjoyed the spa pools. The diamond club service really made the difference for us - private bar & beach area so that you don't have to get up early and save yourself a beach chair. Specialty drinks. Excellent service. Teppenyaki restaurant was great. Hunter steak house amazing. Greek restaurant very good.
"Treated Like Royalty"
This place was amazing! I went with my two boys, ages 9 and 15. There was always something for each of them to do with kids/teens their age. I found the food quality was decent, although I can say that we never ate the same thing twice while we were there. They served something different at every meal. The staff was wonderful! From check in to check out. Great attitudes from all staff! Great place and will be coming back again next year! Highly recommend!!
"Great holiday"
Spent a fantastic week at the Royalton Punta Cana. Food was better than expected, filet mignon at the main buffet, along with a great selection of other choices. Went with our 5 year old granddaughter, she really enjoyed the beach, water park, pool and especially the food. A bit of a picky eater, had thumbs up for all of the food she had. The bar tenders were all excellent, went mostly to the pool bar. Can't remember all of the names, but had good experiences with all. The beach was kept clean and being a smaller resort, no problems with getting chairs. The ala carts did not need a reservation, except for the Japanese restaurant, which was very good as well. I would definitely recommend it to family's with children, and even couples without children

Great resort for families with kids of all ages. Activities and entertainment well run and fun. Food quality good but not excellent. Wait time at restaurants in the evening sometimes too long especially with kids. Reservation times would be helpful.
"December Vacation"
The Royalton property is very nice, well maintained and beautiful. We found the staff to be very friendly and helpful despite the language differences. The food was average and would have expected a wider variety on the Royalton property.

We had a safe, clean & fun holiday. Main buffet was great. Beach buffet was not as good. A la cartes food was great but serving staff seemed new & unsure. Day & night entertainment was great! We are a family of 6 & I would return.
"Everything is perfect!"
We are normal travelers and know good food and resorts, this place is fabulous! The beach is beautiful and the water park next door is the best for kids and adults! It's 30-min from airport via shuttle, diamond club brings special perks, enjoy!

Very nice time at this resort in general.We stayed 2 weeks from dec 10th to the 24th and mostly a great time with little to be unsatisfied with . 1-the beach is nice although heavy traffic and lots of waves so staying very close to your kids is a must. 2-the grounds were very slippery when and after it rained so be careful again walking around the resort although they make a good effort to push the water away shortly after a rain fall. 3-the resort itself is very classy and beautiful and scenery to stare at for hours having your coffee in the morning.The hotel rooms also very modern and clean. 4-the restaurants now depending on what your preference is they are all good but our favorites and a MUST (under the sea and Hunter steak house) the manager at the under the sea Edwardo and team are a delight to deal with and perfect gentleman making sure we are having the best food and time at his restaurant always.Same goes for Lemuel the manager at the Hunter Steak house who also was a perfect in his service.Also must mention to say hello to Jose Cruz who is one of the supervisor to all the restaurants who is extremely caring towards the clientelle making sure you are well received and happy always. 5-The little coffee shop is very cozy and serves the best coffee ive tasted with again good service. 6-the animation is very entertaining and at times spectacular with some of the participants doing extraordinary things you would not think to see at a resort. 7-the pools are nice but i found not big enough but all together was fine. 8-some of the people hired at the resort are payed to get you to buy into a long term package we declined that probably is very profitable for them .(my opinion) Once you decline they leave you alone so the harassement level is very low. In conclusion: This beautiful luxurious resort is very nice with some amazing staff. If you have small inconveniences be sure to know they will be rectified quickly when speaking to management.
"2 weeks of fun"
Hello We have visited the hotel in the middle of December. Ilit was family trip with our 7 years old daughter. everything was fine with this hotel - thenreception the staff the food the entertainent the beach the service. only cons was attept to invite tou in timeshare event in the form of vip lunchbor breakfast. please management of the hotel dont allow this to happen. other cons is that ib the italian restaurant they cannot realy make pizza :)
"Royalton Punta Cana"
Great service . Every one very friendly starting from manager to cleaning lady. We have swim out room in building 5 nice and clean. Valentin our butler was very helpful . One night we went to Jade Asian Cuisine and order Thailand dish . The food made by cook Marcos was excellent .We ate a lot a Thay food but this taste so good.The all team of this restaurant with Pamela and waiter Hektor treat as very special .We want to thanks a hostess Isaura she was very nice to as . Also manager Jose Cruz did a lot to keep our stay wonderfully. Gabi and Milla from Travel Smart they are very nice and helpful all the time
"Great bar staff"
We've been here 3 days now and had a few drinks in a few bars ... Generally the bar tenders are great (a few exceptions) and they'll mix whatever you want and are very entertaining. Special shout out to Eloy at the Sands Beach bar who is still giving it 100% even though his wife is about to give birth in a couple of days - nothing troubles him!

The location of the Hotel is really nice. The atmosphere is beutiful not crowded which is rellay important to me. More than enough sunbads...The service in Royaltan hotel is high quality, quite... the food was the top of the hill ;) Absoulutly recommend go for it :)
"Relaxing holiday"
Me and my partner visited the Royalton in December 2016. The hotel is lovely and the staff cannot do enough for you. On arrival we were put into a ground floor room in block 1 which was really really damp. I assumed this was because their were periods of rain and the water was somehow causing a damp issue due to the room being on the ground floor. We asked to be moved straight away and this was done within 5-10 minutes which was great. We were moved to building 2 but one floor up and that was fine. In each of the blocks there is a salesman acting as concierge at the opening of the building, they try to get you to go for a 'VIP' breakfast and try to sell you all sorts of packages such as diamond club and booking direct with the hotel. From speaking to people who went to this it was not worth it and they had you talking for hours. One thing that let the hotel down was the amount of sales that went on constantly. Tour companies off the beach were wandering around the hotel pool trying to sell you trips and a lot of the time don't take no for an answer. We didn't upgrade to diamond club as the standard charge is 55 dollars a day although I believe you can get a discount from reception if you ask. There is a separate adults only pool for diamond club members and a 'pillow menu', you also receive a room with a swim up pool if you're on the ground floor. The costs to go on trips was extortionate for us as the value of the pound is weak. A massage in the hotel costs around 100 dollar each for a massage lasting less than an hour. We did do a couple of trips, both through thomson, 1 to saona island which was lovely (lots of boat travelling) can get this cheaper through nexus tours on the beach but you do not get to go on the private beach when booking through them, that's only available through thomson. We also did a half day buggy tour which was really fun. The weather was lovely the majority of the time. There were a few outbreaks of rain but these only lasted for 10 minutes max and then the sunshine was back! We really enjoyed our stay, very relaxing holiday.
