Sunset Vistas

We traveled from WI with a family of four. Getting to this resort from Tampa Airport was extremely easy. We arrived two hours early and our room was ready and waiting for us, which was a nice surprise. The gal who checked us in was very friendly and answered the couple questions we had promptly. Our room was nice sized and clean, which also impressed us after we had previously read a couple of complaints in reviews. We liked the closeness to the pool and beach areas. We also walked to John's Pass a couple of days, which was nice..even 7 and 9 year old kids didn't complain about the short walk. We visited the Shake Shop right next door to the property daily. We have recommended this property to several family and friends since we've returned to WI!

Room was clean, staff was very nice, great location, love the free beach shuttle will be back for sure. Beach right out side was very nice, nothing bad to say about anything including check in and check out.

Great location, well-maintained facilities, great staff. The room was inviting and clean. The only negative is that the on-site cafe closes fairly early in the day but the food is good. Would highly recommend.

The Sunset Vistas were a great location for us. We took day trips to St. Pete and Tampa and nothing was very far and being able to walk to John's Pass was a plus. Being right on the beach was awesome. I got up every morning and ran on the beach which was extremely clean. The bedrooms were very small and very limited closet space. The other rooms were quite large. It could also use a restaurant that stays open later and offers more of a menu. We would definitely stay here again.

Had great time. Very nice accommodations. Right on gulf beach with community beach chairs and children's beach toys/activities available. Many nice places to eat. Close to shopping and other excursions at St. John's pass.

This is a fabulous place to stay! Everything was amazing. Not one complaint...except I wish we could have stayed longer!! The room was more than we expected, clean, and updated. The ocean view was breathtaking. Breakfast was amazing and the staff were super friendly.

This resort was beautiful. The staff were all friendly. The cafe food was great along with the prices. Pool area clean and the pool was actually heated like advertised. Beach was beautiful along with a poolside bar.

This was our second time to Sunset Vistas, during our stay from Nov 2-10, 2016. My wife, daughter and me always enjoy coming here! It is the perfect location for the beach, restaurants and shopping. The rooms are spotless and the staff and management are the nicest people you will meet. Our daughter is five years old and loved every minute of it. We spent plenty of time building sand castles and splashing around in the pool. It is the perfect mix. Being able to prepare meals in our room with the full kitchen is a huge savings. We did enjoy the local cuisine from time to time though :) See you all again next year!

Stayed here with my wife and I laws for a one night getaway. Stayed in gulf front room on 5th floor. Views were amazing! Plenty of room in the suite, and everything you could need. Beds were comfortable too. Would stay again if in the area.

Had a great time! Baby pool was perfect for our toddler! Rooms were clean and staff was always friendly and helpful! Access to the beach was easy and loved that we could use the beach toys and chairs. We would definitely stay again.

2nd time we have stayed at Sunset Vistas. both times were great experiences. The best location, great pool & hot tub and staff were all very friendly. Clean and beautiful. Very roomy 2 bedroom, 2 bath suite. From the reservation to our stay at the Sunset Vistas, we were completely satisfied.

We chose this property based on Trip Advisor reviews. Upon arrival, our room was not ready, so they upgraded us at no charge. The room was a three bedroom, three bathroom suite with a sixth floor gulf view. The room was immaculate with all the needed amenities: stove, full size refrigerator, washer/ dryer, small appliances, dishes, everything you could need if you wish to cook in the suite. The major differences with a hotel, was no maid service and towels replaced every two days,.although towels were available at the front desk. The view from the balconies was fantastic. The beach is clean and wide. Beach cabana and chairs are available from a private vendor, and are pricey.The Wi-Fi worked well. The other nice thing about this resort is there are no pesky resort fees. We did not use the pools, nor the on- site restaurant. We would definitely return to this resort in the future.

Good sized apartment, cool beach and good location for restaurants and even a milkshake place right next door. Didn't use the pool as the beach was so good with dolphins to boot. Sunset on the beach is out of this world and should be enjoyed during your stay here.

We ( 6 adults ) stayed at Sunset Vistas for one week in a two bedroom suite. Plenty of room for all. Beds were very comfortable .(Pull - out couch bed was OK . Doubled up the comforters from the beds to make it more comfortable. ) Room was clean (slightly dusty on bath fixtures but no big deal.) Maintenance came immediately when the shower head would not work. They are on the ball!! The view was awesome. Stayed in 202W facing the ocean, close to stairs and elevator. This room was closer to the kiddie pool and away from the main pool and bar so it was more quiet later in the evening. Heated Pool and hot tub were both clean and well maintained. Both close at 10 PM. Security guard patrols property regularly. Newspaper is outside your door every morning. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lost my flip-flops 2nd day there and maintenance guy found them... Thank goodness! Beautiful white sand beach. Saw lots of sand crabs, birds and a few dolphins jumping. There is a volleyball net on the beach for anyone to use. John's Pass is very close. Walked there many times. It has lots of shops and restaurants. Publix and Walmart not far away so you can pick up what you need. I could live there easily !! Can't wait to go back.

My Wife and I booked into Sunset Vista just for the one night to attend a family beach wedding. We had Appt W202.. This over looked the beach, It consisted of two bedroom's one with a beautiful King-size bed the other with a standard 5' bed. In addition there was a pull out couch bed.. So it can sleep six comfortably The room had a very well equipped kitchen including a full sized oven and indeed a microwave.....There is a separate dining area. Our room had a balcony which could be accessed by the front bedroom or the living room The room was clean throughout, although a small point, the shower controls could do with de-scaling from the build up of lime deposits .. The staff could not do enough for you genuinely helpful all the way through There is some under cover parking, although this is allocated according to your room, There is a beach bar and at the front of the hotel you will find a small cafe selling breakfast and lunch with a wide variety of menu.. Personally I would have liked to have stayed longer .. in fact a good week.. This hotel sits right next to a beautiful clean beach and, if you prefer it has its own freshwater swimming pool..

Stayed 2 nights in a 2 bedroom condo. View from balcony was gorgeous even though we hadn't booked beachfront. Condo was well equiped with full kitchen and laundry facilities. Only complaint was we booked with both rooms having a double bed but one bedroom actually had 2 singles. Beach box was a nice touch so you could borrow chairs, umbrellas, beach toys etc. Beach was nice but we spent most of our time round the pool.

The four of us stayed in the 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom suite for 5 nights! The suite has a full kitchen and washer and dryer which we found super convenient! The views are beautiful and the beach is right there! Make sure you get a Beachfront suite! There's a bar on the beach which is open late Wednesday-Sunday and a small cafe which is open until 5pm each day. The location is perfect, there's a convenience store across the street and an ice cream shop right beside! Had such a fun time! Recommend staying here

We stayed at Sunset Vistas for 4 nights and 5 days. We were very happy with our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom condo. It was very clean and and very nice. Our condo had everything in it that you could want or need. We had a balcony view to the gulf. The grounds were very nice and the pools were great.There were 2 pools, one for babies, toddlers. It's very family friendly. We were there for our son's destination wedding. They got married on the beach and it was beautiful. The staff was amazing. They we're very friendly and helpful. We were within walking distance to some restaurants/bars. They were not real close, but the driving was easy. We really enjoyed our stay at Sunset Vista's. The only thing I wasn't really happy about was the towel/garbage situation. They only came in every 2 days to bring fresh towels and empty garbage. We had 4 adults in our room using the pools and showers. We had to keep going to the front desk to get towels. Other than that, it was a fantastic stay. The beach was only steps away from the condos. We would stay there again.

Our second stay at this resort (10/8-10/12). We stayed last year June 2015. This place has a nice layout and good staff. Even the guests are really nice. My two younger boys had a blast at beach and in the 80+ degree pool (seasonally heated). The place is laid out so that most rooms have a good view. Even some in the back. We always stay beachfront. Our rooms were always clean, and we check the beds pretty good. Some spots in the shower show dark spots, but tough to fight these things in heavily used resorts. I have seen people complain on other resorts about dust or dirt in the sliding door track....I am thinking really? Yes room 303W had dirt here. But who cares, if your kids cheerio falls in the gap or something DON'T let them eat it. At my home sometimes a mild layer of grease is applied to make door open easier. Grease attracts dirt. Anyway, the only complaint-ish was that the Bar tender at the poolside bar was inexperienced. I asked for L.I.T. and she just made something will alcohol. But she was young, I understand.

We were pleasantly surprised with how nice this place is! It is well-kept and very clean! We stayed at a 2-bedroom unit with two bathrooms. Check in was a breeze and so was check out. Everything was provided for in the unit - oven, microwave, plates, mugs, utensils, cooking pans, washer & dryer, iron & board, toiletries, fresh towels. It is right on the beach, nice and quiet, perfect for families and even couples. They also have beach items you can borrow - like folding beach chairs, beach toys, and floaters. I can't say enough good things about this place. Our 3-night stay seemed too short, we will definitely be back!

We stayed at Sunset Vistas for one night during September as an overnight getaway from the busy days at Disney. We appreciated the slower pace, fresh air and lovely beach to refresh ourselves before returning to Orlando. The unit was spacious and well equipped. The gym was small and had the basics required for a workout. The beach was lovely. The water was so warm and small fish swam around us. We wish we had longer and enjoyed our stay very much.

The rooms have everything you need. The beds are quite comfortable. We had a full ocean view. You are only a few steps away from the beach. 2 pools which are big with a bar close by. There is a courtesy box with chairs, floats and umbrella's which was very useful. Our room was next to stairs that lead right to the assigned car parking space which was covered. I liked that allot. The interior landscaping is lovely and there is Adirondack chairs and hammocks for relaxing. The place is walking distance to St John's pass shopping area and a great ice cream shack.
