What Our Customers Are Saying

Written Review

"quiet off the strip hotel"
Not to be confused with the sister property, Tahiti Village, this Tahiti Resort is very quiet and off the strip. It is practically across the street from Orleans Casino. Our two bedroom was spacious and overlooked the pool. It was spotlessly clean. They have quiet time starting at 10pm. There was a loud group in the pool area late at night, but the resort shut it down. The morning breakfast, something you usually don't have with a timeshare, was a nice plus but know that it is VERY limited. It included coffee, bagels, banana nut or blueberry muffins, oranges, and bananas. We would grab coffee there then make another pot in the room. They provide coffee pods but know if you are making 8 cups, put two pods in the coffee maker. The two pools were clean and it was nice to have sand entrance. There was plenty of lounge chairs and we had no problem getting shade. We didn't use the hot tub. They have three big grills and a nice eating area. Shuttles to the strip are offered but we had a car. If you plan to just stay in the immediate area, the shuttles and taxis are fine. We rented a car so we can visit Red Rock Canyon and the Grand Canyon. Smith's grocery is right up the road. Shuttle is provided once a week. Concierge service is always available. Take advantage of it. They know what they're doing. I would stay here again if coming back to Vegas. Its a great place is you have kids (or not) and don't want to be around the partying 24/7. After the excitement of the strip and downtown, the hotel was a nice escape.
"Great place to stay"
Traded our timeshare to stay here. I believe that they also rent to non-timeshare owners. We found the facilities to be very clean and the staff responsive. No pressure to take a timeshare tour -- we were invited, but declined. Our unit was fully equipped and also had a washer/dryer in the unit. The pool we very nice and they provided beach towels to use at the pool. Grills were available onsite and seemed to be well maintained. This resort provides shuttle service to the Tropicana and Mirage Casinos. We were provided with a schedule upon arrival. We had already rented a car, but ended up using the shuttle since it was easier than trying to drive to the strip and park. They also ran the shuttle to the grocery store 2 different days during the week. It was a very nice resort and is at the top of our list of resorts to stay at while in Vegas.
"Great place"
Great place off the strip it was clean, quiet, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We used the shuttle to the strip which saved time and hassle The pools were uncrowded and lounges were always available We would return
"Great resort off the strip, near amenities"
Beautiful resort. Yes, it looks a little dated from the front outside but that could just be bringing back tiki memories from my grandparents place in the 70s. Nice pool area that is surrounded by all of the rooms. Ask for an inward facing room so your balcony gives a nice view of the pools instead of the surrounding business parking lots if that's the kind of thing you care a lot. We didn't spend any time on our balcony though. Rooms are spacious. Comfy beds. Full kitchens were a plus. The hourly shuttle that hits both the North and South ends of the strip was super easy to catch. Grocery / drug store practically next door and a Denny's on the corner of the street within walking distance makes this the perfect location for a Vegas stay. Will definitely be back again. Thanks, Tahiti!
"Summer Heat Family gathering"
Tahiti Resort, I had thought I had booked tahiti village. A little disappointed then the manager spoke so highly of his tahiti resot. The pools were very cool in the 110 temperatures, good sushi next door at Sushi 21. Rooms were clean and neat and the pools were actually better that=n lazy river because you didn't have to chase the babies around like we did in the lazy river
"Tahiti Gives You All of Vegas Without The Hassle"
Traded our AZ time share for a week in Las Vegas. Interval selected the Tahiti and we were not disappointed. Registration was a easy. Unit was ready at the time stated. The unit is large with a full kitchen and well stocked with cookware and utensils. The bedroom is also large with a king bed and its own TV. Bed was very comfortable. And the noise level was very quiet. Never heard a door slam or heard a conversation from the next room. Each TV has a DVD player and the resort has a library of about 100 films. They also offer free WiFi. There are two large pools and a workout area. They offer a shuttle to the Tropicana and the Mirage; two ends of the strip. It runs on an hourly loop. Continental breakfast is included each morning. Property is well maintained and very clean. There is an Albertsons less than a mile away and a Walgreens just down the street. All in all we enjoyed our stay and would recommend Tahiti to anyone looking to stay off the strip.
"Great Resort off the Strip"
Our 2nd visit to this resort. (We had a 1 bedroom). Beautiful & spacious with Washer/dryer in unit. Full kitchen. Big bathroom. Two TV's, free wifi. Nice, clean pools with BBQ area. Free shuttle to strip. Friendly, helpful staff. Did not feel pressured to 'take the tour'. ++!
"Nice place off the strip"
Las Vegas was a necessary stop on a road trip from Yosemite to Texas. I do not like Vegas, but it was a stop for us. This was a good place to stay. They had a free shuttle that takes you to the Tropicana or Mirage. We rode it to show the kids (13&15) the strip. It was nice to be able to leave the craziness of the strip and be at a place where it was easy to park and get to your car. We stayed in a one bedroom suite. It had a king bed for us and a pull ot couch for the kids. The unit had a washer/dryer and a kitchen with a dishwasher. There was a free breakfast that included muffins and bagels. It was also nice because there was a dvd player in the room and you could borrow movies for no charge. This was a nice, affordable place with nice amenities.
"Great resort off the strip"
Fabulous pool very clean..quiet...fully equipped apartments....full shuttle service to strip...near to shopping and restaurants...no shops etc in resort but next door...great for quiet holiday if wanted or visiting downtown......perfect holiday...
"Our 5 night stay at Tahiti Resort Las Vegas"
My lady friend and I stayed June 27-July 1. At first they had us in the wrong paid for room. We had reserved a full kitchen. We enjoyed ourselves out by the pool. Were surprised you DO NOT have to reserve that lounge chair at dawn and then walk away for the afternoon. Plenty of chairs and shade just to walk up at any time. Blackjack lessons with Steve were lots of fun. Continental breakfast was great for a morning snack. Marta in there was FANTASTIC. She greeted each guest and thanked them upon exit. Noticed guest ignoring her. Very poor manners!!! Then upon check out and room switch we dealt with Christian. Also the best. Courteous and attentive to our needs and requests. If you are fortunate to speak to and have interactions with those 3 associates you will have a great time. Our full kitchen room was very nice and fully equiped. Even washer and dryer. Our balcony overlooked the 24 Hour fitness parking lot. (Could not be helped). Overall it was very nice and would stay there again.
"Perfect resort for a week with adult children!"
We stayed at this resort for a week with adult children! We had a 2 bedroom condo - which turned out to be perfect! We didnt' hear them come home late - and they didn't hear us get up and have coffee in the morning! win win! The resort itself was quiet - which we appreciated! The shuttle to the strip was great - was very useful. The resort location itself was perfect - off the strip, but not so far you couldn't be there quickly for shows etc. Resort itself was clean, staff were friendly, always happy to give you extra laundry soap, dishwasher soap, towels etc. Pools were great! Beds were comfy! It may be a bit dated, but really, the amenities and cleanliness made it worth while. We very much enjoyed our time in the pool and our stay. We would definitely return here. Breakfast was bagels, muffins, fruit coffee and juice but was sufficient. There were activities there for kids - a couple of things a day on the schedule. We had our own things already scheduled but we did see guests enjoying sundae's one afternoon upon our return to the resort. Great touch! Loved the fact that we had a washer and dryer as the temperatures were hot - 42, 43 and 44 the whole time we were there - so you end up changing clothes many times a day! That was handy to be able to do a quick load of laundry. We took ourselves to the grocery store as we had a rental car and got snacks and drinks for the condo. We enjoyed having coffee and yogurt in our room in the mornings. Again, may not be as fancy as some may want, but we really enjoyed our stay! Would go back in a heartbeat, and would recommend it!
"Excellent for long term stay"
I stayed in this resort for 7 days .At first, I was not impressed by the hotel appearance from the outside, but after staying here for 7 days, I booked a two bedroom suit andwas surely glad I stayed away from the strip. Comfortable rooms, well maintained facilities , it provided a quiet nook to get away from the noise and bustle of the Vegas strip. Rooms were spacious , secure, and clean. The other members of my family all booked at hotels in the strip and they liked my accommodations better, so, they ended up eating meals to go in Tahiti. People were friendly and nice, relaxed.
"Night stay before flying to Hawaii"
We stayed at Tahiti vacation club one night before flying to Hawaii. We had several rooms. All the rooms were very nice. The rooms had a full kitchen . Also a washer and dryer in each room. The pool area was very nice. Didn't get in, but the kids did.
"Excellent stay - best non-casino in Vegas!"
I was a little hesitant because I know this is an older property, but upon check in I was VERY surprised and happy. Right next door to Qdoba, Denny's, and Starbucks - and a short walk across the street to the Orleans for bowling, movies, restaurants, etc. With most of the rooms surrounding the 24 hour pools, I thought it would be noisy - it was not. I never experienced anyone out at the pool late at night. The resort has been updated - the carpets are new, the beds very comfortable with excellent pillows. The AC was awesome - not one of those loud units on the wall - relatively quiet (just the sound of the fan) and it got really cold even though it was 109 outside! I stayed in the studio, which is a lockout of a larger unit (I saw one - they are amazing!). It was large, had a great kitchenette with a small frig, microwave, sink, toaster, dishes, silverware etc. Even jacuzzi jets in the bathtub! It made it very easy for me to prepare breakfast before I headed out to work (this was a business trip). The hotel is quiet - not full of partiers. The grounds are awesome with pools, waterfall, hot tub, even an area for BBQing. There is a gym and a free shuttle, that I did not get a chance to use. The shuttle takes you to Mirage or Tropicana on the strip. My only "wish" would be that it would also go in the evenings to some off strip restaurants or shopping. They do have several daytime shopping trips, etc. that are arranged by the resort - I was not able to partake due to being there for business. The $12/day resort fee includes wi-fi, and there was no limit to the # of devices. Good flat screen TV and even a DVD player in the room! I highly recommend this resort - the staff were extremely professional and made me feel VERY welcome!
"Relaxing Time and Nice One Bedroom Condos at Tahiti"
This is a repeat visit as I liked it the first time. The reason why I chose it again is that the one bedrooms are very nice. The big plus for this time was the washer and dryer as we were on an extended road trip. its so nice to just have that convenience periodically during a longer trip. But that is not the only reason I chose it. The one bedrooms have comfortable beds, living rooms, outside patio with table and sitting chairs, and a nice kitchen. The beds are super comfortable. The swimming pool area and putting green (4 small tiny holes), activities, and shuttle service to the strip are also nice. There is a breakfast roll, juice, fruit, coffee continental breakfast also in the mornings. Staff is wonderful. Its also close enough to the strip, but feeling so peacefully and wonderfully away. The air conditioning works well which is great too as when we were in Las Vegas the temperatures were 110 - 115 degrees. In the winter there is a fireplace in the living room. Parking is free and on site. There is an elevator which is good as we were on the 2nd floor. Overall, staff and the resort is a good place to stay at a reasonable rate.
"Relaxing and peaceful"
After years of staying only on the strip we decided to try something different. We are tired of the high resort fees (just tell us the real price) on the strip and the crowds and waiting lines for everything there. This resort was close enough to go to the strip whenever we wanted, but it was nice to go back to the Tahiti, where our room was just steps to the pool or our car. Room was nice, the staff was very welcoming and nice, and I could get a chair by the pool or in the shade anytime I wanted!!
"wonderful"
The room was great and the activities were enjoyable. The service was excellent and the staff were very knowledgeable. Shuttle service was accessible and on time. The massage package was very relaxing and easy to get to. Everything was in walking distances. Shuttles were available for trips to the Vegas strip. Will stay there again on my next visit.
"Oasis of calm after the hoards of people and traffic on the Strip"
This is quite a small complex but everything was just perfect for us. Free wifi, shuttle to the Strip , bagels and muffins for breakfast. The rooms, grounds and pool areas were all spotless, and the staff are the friendliest that we have ever met, so helpful, always a smile, we stayed for 2 weeks and were sad to leave. If we are ever in Las Vegas again, this is where we will stay. Denny's , Starbucks and Walgreens are a short walk away .
"A week of leisure"
Wondferful property with extremely large suites - 2 bedroom & 2 bathroom, kitchen and large living room. Very clean and nice and supplied with all the cups, dishes, pots & pans, refrigerator ^ microwave oven. Nice pool area and Jacuzzi which was open 24 hours! Only one hot tub however. employees are very friendly and helpful and greet you when they see you. Free wifi and parking and a continental breakfast as well. Helpful concierge desk for tickets to shows etc. A fantastic value and a good fit for families. Very close to the Orleans No onsite restaurant or bar
"A Gem Tucked Away Off-Strip!!!!"
Becoming a senior, the hustle, bustle, loud music and never ending slot machine noises of hotel casinos has refined my character as to where I want to stay when I visit Las Vegas. Since 1971, I have stayed in many casinos downtown and on the strip, my recent change of attitude has encouraged me to look for quieter places when I visit Las Vegas. I have found another gem tucked away off-strip, YES! The Tahiti Resort & Vacation Club in my opinion is an outstanding place to stay, its quiet, has an exceptional courteous professional staff and the grounds, pools and one bedroom condo I stayed in were superb. In making my reservations, Paul, I thank for helping me upgrade from a studio. Renting a car I found the resort had ample parking next to my unit. Check-in was fabulous with Luis providing all the help and correct answers I needed. Being an early morning riser I chose the 3rd floor on the east side to take full advantage of the morning sun as I sat, relaxed and enjoyed my coffee on the comfortable private balcony. The condo fully met my expectations, providing a little more than what I expected; two televisions, having its own hot water heater (my morning showers were exceptional) and the humongous bed was a comfort to sleep in. There was one very minor mechanical incident to where I had to call the front desk to have maintenance come up and repair. Within 5 minutes of my call, Eddie and his partner showed to remedy the problem. Both were highly professional in their duties and kept me informed politely of when they would be done. Within a very short walking distance of the Tahiti Resort & Vacation Club are moderate eating establishments and a Walgreens for personal needs. I give Thanks to other staff I met for also making my stay comfortable. I plan to stay again!
"Great location off The Strip with Free Shuttle Bus Service"
Accommodation was very comfortable offering microwave, refrigerator & sink - no stove top. Two large pools and a kiddie pool. Next door is a plaza offering pizza, chinese, mediterranean food plus a Denny's. Walgreen's is also in the next door plaza. Everything you need is within walking distance. They offer a shuttle bus to the grocery store a couple times a week. Free shuttle service to The Strip runs every hour and drops off at the Tropicana and The Mirage which are at both ends of the strip making it very convenient. Shuttle service is also offered on Thursday's to The Red Rock Canyon and Freemont Street in the evening. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. This is a great location if you want to get a little removed from the hussle bussle of The Strip. You can see The Strip lit up at night from here - it is only 3 miles away. I would highly recommend staying here. If traveling alone this is a secure building - built in a square and you have to use your room key to gain access. I also saw a security man walking the halls one evening.
"Family vacay"
I've stayed at the bigger Tahiti Village in vegas and it was great but I like this one better. This was more smaller and away from the strip chaos. It was pretty quiet even though its located near a busy street. Pool was awesome!! Customer service was great. I would definately stay here when I visit Vegas again.
"Awesome customer - very clean property!"
My husband and I received a week's vacation at a vacation resort presentation. We selected Tahiti Club and was very impressed. Cy, at the front desk was very helpful and courteous. The property is very clean. Paul, the manager was helpful with our upgrade from the studio to the one bedroom. We loved the floor plan. The location is great for us. Away from the hustle and bustle but not too far away and close to stores and casinos. The shuttle service is very convenient. We will definitely visit again.
"Great experience"
We had an all around great experience. The staff was super friendly and accomadating especially the breakfast attendant lady who was incredibly nice. From check in to check out was awesome. We were extremely happy with the room it was clean, comfortable and well stocked with all of the amenities. I rarely sleep while staying in hotels and I got the best 2 nights sleep just like being at home. I wish we could have stayed longer. Would definitely stay there again and recommend this resort.
