"Great Resort Great Country"
Everything you need in a vacation is at this hotel. The food, beach, people, and the atmosphere is great. We really appreciated the true all inclusive, no reservations for the restaurants, no towel cards, just no hassle's, the way a vacation should be. The diving in Curacao is fantastic and the team at Ocean Encounters do an amazing job. Do not pass up the opportunity to visit this country and this dive operation. The mushroom forest trip is a must. I'm surprised about the negative comments about all the diving being fully booked. This would not be the fault of the dive operation, but rather the fault of the traveler. If you are planning to dive while on vacation get organized and book your trips in advance like everyone else.
"The Best Resort In All Curacao"
Recently starting the year I was on vacation at Curacao and I stay at the Sunscape Curacao hotel , definitely and unequivocally this is the best hotel around Curacao and the best that I have stayed . Here 's attentions are always special , and speaking of special attention should mention for F&B Manager Mr. Anibal Bueno, this gentleman made my time something special and memorable in all restaurants, Mr. Anibal thanks for so much kindness and courtesy me and my wife. I recommend visiting this hotel in Curacao , I'm sure you will live an unforgettable experience, the food is fabulous and tasty , the rooms are super- cute and in excellent condition , we had no problem in our room because they have an excellent maintenance. when I go to Curacao sunscape recommend visiting the restaurant Da Mario is super delicious , others are also super- tasty and if you want to enjoy more and request to Mr. Anibal and you'll see the excellence in one person.
"A perfect trip location for our family"
This was our fifth time to Ultra Luxury Curacao. When individuals ask us why we continue to go to this particular resort, my answer is always the same. Ultra Luxury Caracao is ideal for my children (aged 5, 7and 10) for it has ample pools, a beach perfect for sand castles and a perfect breaker wall that enables my children to snorkel in an ocean filled with a vast array aquatic life. The individuals who work at the resort cannot be any more pleasant and accommodating. Kurt (room division manager), Marvett (Explorers Club), Alex (daytime supervisor in the buffet restaurant), Reomar, Renee, Ionna and Norma (at the Carousel), Omar (entertainment), Enrique (Italian Restaurant) continuously ensure that we have a great stay and time at the resort. The size of the resort enables one to opt to be social or to enjoy some me time. What else can one ask for? The island of Curacao has a great deal to keep one busy. Scuba diving, the Aquarium, the Hato caves, Willemstad and a trip to the West Point are just a few.
"Why ask for more, when you are getting the Best..."
This is my first time visiting Curacao, and the expectations were greater than I really was expecting. From the Security to Bartender to Maids to Guess services It was excellent but not without giving an especial recognition to the Night Manager Xavier Cathalina that performs his duties super and beyond how these young men manages this place. it is my opinion, if we have Managers like that on all hotels that we visit, it will be a paradise everywhere. I will defiantly recommend this resort for a great vacation. See you soon. I am already planning to comeback .
"Nice place for vacation! !!!!"
I have stayed there for the year and it was awesome! ! The new years party was great! ! The staff was super nice. Nutan who helped us finding a nice room was very friendly! ! Rooms in the 8th building are very nice, has a nice view.Food and activities were excellent. . The beach was the best. We spent most of our time there. I will recommen this resort to everyone! !
"Fun in Paradise!"
I was fortunate enough to stay with Sunscape Curacao for a total of 12 nights. The location was excellent, literally right on the beach and just a short walk from the local hotspots (Cabana, Mambo & Wet & Wild) The Japanese habachi restaurant was awesome, once I ate there the first time I was hooked. It was also a great spot to get to know other guests as we all ate in a very social setting. The main diner was also great with a wide variety of choices. The staff in general was very friendly and attentive, always asking if I was happy with everything. I spent a few afternoons taking in the natural beauty of the sunsets and sipping on a cocktail. Can't beat it! Big props to the sales department for their attention and setting me up in a room with a direct water view. I will definitely be coming back!
"Great Family Holiday Vacation"
This was an excellent family Holiday vacation. The room in the Pelican building are great, clean, spacious and comfortable. Our favorite restaurant was the Italian restaurant where my son (10 yo) enjoyed it very much. My daughter (21 yo) enjoyed the snorkeling and shore diving. There was always something to do wether it was in the beach relaxing or taking the bus to the town. All staff members from the concierge to the restaurants were very respectful and pleasant. Room was clean every day. The pool was a great place to enjoy the sun and have fun with other families. The town was a great place to explore and learn about their culture. We had en excellent time in a new unfamiliar island and we owe it all to Ultra Luxury Caracao. I would highly recommend it you are looking for a week vacation with family.
"Fine Hotel"
This was an extremely nice place for our dive vacation. Shore diving on their house reef was spectacular. One free dive per day also. Even the snorkling was great. Thousands of fish all real close to you. Food was very good. Ate at the Himitsu, DaMario, Bluewater Grille, and Oceana (literally on the beach on the sand) restaurants every night. Food was outstanding. Even the shrimp and scallops were not overcooked. All of the workers were polite and helpful. Some that were exceptionally good were Movada from Himitsu, Maickey from BlueWater, and (Geordan or Juahquin (male)) from DaMario. The lunch cook (woman) from Oceana was very good as well. Forget her name however. These people stood out. Everyone says "It's a pleasure" when waiting on you. I know it's part of their job, but it's nice to hear. Hotel and grounds are in very good shape. We were asked to vacate our room due to some construction but were upgraded to oceanfront with a little coaxing. Was greeted with a cool washcloth and cold juice upon arrival. Take the shuttle bus into town for the afternoon. Walk over the pontoon bridge and stroll the town on this side if the bridge. Overall a nice place and reasonably priced for all inclusive. We joked about not being able to find any negatives about the place, but wi-fi access was not included. I feel it should be included, as most major hotels include it, and it doesn't cost much to provide it. Still, a fantastic place to visit.
"Memorable 50th Birthday"
My partner and I initially had our heart set on the Florida Keys to celebrate my 50th birthday but our travel agent sugessted we look into Curacao. I'm glad we did. The Ultra Luxury Caracao very nice. We stayed in the Pelican building with an ocean view. It was very clean and our fridge always stocked. The beach butlers were great. The whole staff was awesome. My partner set up a private dinner on the beach for us and it was perfect!! We were also invited to a chefs dinner with a number of other couples which was very nice. We made some new friends too! The concierge folks were very helpful Kudos to Kurt, Beverly and all of the staff---I'm bad with names!
"It was just what I wanted"
I was there with my husband and my almost 3 years old grandson. We booked this hotel from December 8 through December 15 because we liked the price, the place (low rise buildings, small private beach very close to the rooms, and waves breaker that allows you to swim in the sea without looking what the weather is). Upon arrival we ask to upgrade our room, and we got it without any problems. It was just what we wanted: relaxation, light breeze, no waves, everything is close, food was simple but tasty. We travel a lot, and we have been in fancy high rise hotels with fancy restorants, fancy rooms, and a lot of food. But as for me, I like to have vacation like this: simple, comfortable, relaxing. Everything was clean, beds were comfortable. I liked service very much: whatever we asked for was done right away with words "my pleasure". If you expect luxury and personnel running around you because they desperately need your dollar, this place is not for you. Yes, I agree, that place needs a lot of work, but 5 star hotel in Curacao cost much more and it is not going to be all inclusive. For the price we paid having vacation in Curacao, it was great. We did not like Japanese restorant, but we liked Italian very much. We liked the fact that we could be outside all day long. The water in Curacao is safe to drink, so you do not have to control kids all the time to make sure that they are safe (it is very important to me). Yes, the beach is little bit rocky. So, I took swimming shoes for my husband, but I and my grandson were OK. It would be nice to have a shower on the beach to rinse the sand from your feet, and to have an extra blanket in the room ( not just a third part of it). The resort is family and kids friendly. There is a Kids Club, that open till 9PM, with professonal personnel, so you can have your time for yourself to enjoy your dinner or time together or go to the SPA. Babysitting service is available for $7hr for kids under 3. I did not use SPA. because, I think, it is overpriced (though, may be it worth it, I do not know). But overall experience was great, we liked it very much, and we would recommend this hotel to our friends.
"Above and Beyond"
I don't know where to begin! Let's just start by saying this was the most amazing vacation we have ever been on. The rooms: My boyfriend and I got upgraded (don't know how much very appreciative) to a Junior suite in the Royal Tower Rm 2303. AMAZING view!!!! Brand new looked very newly renovated. Our friends in room 5202 just as nice of a room!!! Little bit less of a view, but we honestly showered, and slept in the room, there was just too many other things to do to spend excess time in a room! We are not picky people as long as there was a hot shower, which there was, and clean place to rest our head, which there was. I have no idea who our house keeper was but she did an absolutely over the top job, between cleaning and folding our clothes and hanging wet stuff, totally unexpected! The Food- Have absolutely no qualms about the food. Every meal was hot and delicious. No limits on how much you could order! Our favorite was probably Himitsu, Sherman was hysterical and very entertaining with the Hibachi. *Applause Applause* We met chef Serafin one of the first nights we were there and every time he saw us he made sure everything was up to par and asked if there was anything he could do for us! He was doing a beach party for some executives the night we went for Sushi at Himitsu, but checked in to make sure everything was good! He even helped us with our bags the day we were leaving! I can't say I've stayed anywhere that a chef has been so over the top attentive! The beach- YES most of the beach is "rocky", most of the beaches on the island are rocky, it isn't rocks it is coral! but there was more than enough places to enter the water on the beach that are not. And the water! OMG the water! Not hot, not cold, just right is is refreshing and crystal clear! The fish come right up to your feet! The snorkeling is the best I've ever seen. Word of advice take some break from breakfast or lunch and the fish flock to you! We didn't use the pool too much, did aqua aerobics with Chuchoo (so much fun!), and had a drink or two at the swim up bar, but everything was clean and saw people up keeping the pool everyday. The staff- I've already spoke about chef Serafin, he is over the top accommodating. The staff at the bars and restaurants were all very friendly and personable, but the people who totally made our vacation, the entertainment team!!! Specifically Chuchoo, Gigo (Gwengelo), Obryan, Crazy G (Shurently), and Leo the Lion. I mention them specifically because we had the most contact with them, but the whole entertainment team we spoke to and did some sort of activity with at some point during our stay. These guys absolutely go above and beyond their job description!! They talk to you, tell you about the island, got to know us! I feel like they are friends we could have for life and would come back to not only the resort but the island just to visit them! We wanted to venture into town and to local clubs and were helpful and informative, and hopefully this does not get you in trouble, but they went out dancing with us, shopping etc as I said more than workers, they are forever friends! We miss them terribly.... I cannot come up with enough nice things to say about you guys! We cannot imagine our trip without you! Over all an amazing experience! We cannot wait to come back and full plan on it! Thank you all for an amazing week!
"Ultra Luxury Caracao - well worth the journey to get there"
We arrived home on Nov 18, 2013 from 2 wonderful weeks at Curacao. We would definitely recommend this resort to others. It has recently been taken. They are busy doing renovations as quietly and discreetly as possible. The beach is beautifully sandy, with a safe swim area protected by a breakwater. We had a beautiful room with two complete window walls that opened onto a amazing view of the sunsets and ocean. There are 5 restaurants with a variety of food. If you can't find something you like to eat here, I don't think it would be their fault. The staff are all very friendly and respond with "My pleasure" every time you say thank you. Fernaline and Daicy were two particularly accommodating waitresses at the Oceana restaurant. Verama not only was a great waitress in the buffet restaurant, they would benefit by having her help train the many new staff members. Marie at the Japanese restaurant is contagiously cheerful and efficient! The hostesses at the buffet restaurant, Malagras and Danalisa were always welcoming and even began to recognize whether or not the other couple, that we met up with, were there in the restaurant when we arrived! As part of the 'all inclusive' part of this hotel guests can, if certified, SCUBA dive once per day at the onsite dive shop; Ocean Encounters. The diving right off the shore was great. We went diving along that reef several times as well as snorkelling it. We saw just about everything we saw on the boat dives at this location. We would recommend the boat dives as well though. They have a professional, accommodating, and friendly staff at the dive shop.
"The Staff Makes this Resort"
I have NEVER stayed anywhere like this Resort! I was so sad to leave, i actually started to cry. The staff at this resort go above and beyond their expected duties! Thank you to Isis and Azaria in the lobby....you are both beautiful and delightful....as well as incredibly helpful...Emerson, in the lobby, you made my husbands' vacation...he went out of his way to ask you questions! O'Bryan and Gage from the Entertainment Team went out of their way to make sure we were having fun and knew what was happening during our stay! the Entertainment Team works incredibly hard and we appreciated it and had a GREAT time with all of them! Sasha in the World Cafe was always happy to assist us, and always with a beautiful smile. Maicky in the Oceana, what a sweetheart....Jean-Paul in the Steakhouse took care of everything we asked for! A special thanks to Serafin Garcia Jr. who took the time to cook our Barracuda we had caught earlier in the day! AMAZING! and for the last two best employees! Verona Smith at da Mario's.....the most delightful young lady on your island....we ate there 3 times, mostly because of Verona! And last but not .......maybe your best employee....NORMA....a consummate professional...and a pleasure to see everyday...big smile...and always there to make you a drink and invite you to come back and have a beautiful day....wow, we missed her so much on her days off! and the beautiful Iona, who worked with her....the most pleasant, efficient, professional ladies! Thank you Sunscape Curacao, for a wonderful vacation....we can't wait to return! and your staff would be the biggest reason to return! Thank you, thank you, thank you.....
"Great dive destination"
This resort was recommended to us by our local travel agent who had been here years ago. We always stay at all-inclusive resorts and this is apparently the only one in Curacao. We had a fairly short bus ride to the resort. Our check-in was easy. We were greeted with a drink when we arrived. Our room was upgraded for us without asking. The room was nice. Nothing over the top, but I'm not there for the room as much as the resort itself. The restaurants were all very good. The Japanese restaurant was very good. We really enjoyed the Sushi bar. Chef Serafin Garcia Jr. was so friendly and polite. He even spoke to us on different occasions around the resort. All the restaurants were very good. The Oceana was so good we went twice! The free scuba tank each day was a very nice touch. The girls in the Scuba shop were very nice. Ingrid was a pleasure to dive with. The diving was absolutely amazing. It's pretty awesome when you can jump off the dock of your resort and be a few minutes away from a reef wall that is so beautiful! The beach is rocky, but that's to be expected when you have such beautiful coral reefs right off your resort. The chairs and loungers were never a problem to get. Furniture looked new. I would recommend this resort to my friends. They have certainly made great efforts to improve their image from the previous ownership and I believe they are doing a great job.
"Very good food"
Just got back from Caracao on Sunday. I have been to over 50 all inclusive resorts so I can critque with the best of them. 30 minute bus ride thru town to get there. Check in was a breeze and we were in our room in 15 minutes. We upgraded our room to get a bigger room and balcony. The resort is very clean and compact. It is also quite quiet here so don't expect a wild and crazy time...just relaxing. The food was very good at the 4 ala carts which you don't need reservatios for. We never waited any more than 15 minutes. The buffet was typical for all 3 meals. Always something for everyone. You won't go hungry here. The service was very good and never had to wait for drinks. There is new furniture around the main pool and plenty of loungers at the beach. No need to get up early to reserve a chair and the rsort was at 100% capacity. The daily entertainment was hit and miss so that was a disappointment for us. Also ther are pigeons that invade the buffet and beach restaurants. Why they don't get rid of them is beyond me. The nightly entertainment was okay but nothing special.Snorkling right off the beach was amazing. They have organized snorkling tours every day for free. The beach is okay but rocky in a lot of areas. The beach ends at both ends of the resort so you can't walk the beaches. They allow smohing in the casino so we didn't stay long there. All in all it is a good resort. The beds were very comfotable and they have a double size walk in showers. I would go back if the price was right;
"Wonderful little resort"
We have stayed at multiple all-inclusives in the Caribbean and Mexico. Furthermore, we have stayed at 2 other AMRESORTS all inclusives. This one was a bit smaller, but still great. We were upgraded to a VIP Preferred Club room, which had a phenomenal view. We didn't pay extra, it was a surprise when we arrived. The food was pretty good for an all inclusive, minus the dessert selection, but that is just nitpicky, right? We ate at Himitsu, De Mario, The Bluewater Grill and even the World Cafe for dinner at they were all great in their own way. Every resort employee was incredibly friendly, especially Gwengelo and Obrien from the Entertainment team, they were our favorites. The pools were a bit smaller than other all-inclusives that I have been to, but it doesn't really matter as we are never on vacation to swim laps. The beach was nice and the snorkeling was fun! The drive from the airport was only about 25/30 minutes and evertyhing from the minute we stepped of the plane went so smootly. I would go back to this resort and recommend it to anyone.
"Great resort and diving"
My husband and i had a wonderful vacation in Curacao. The room was huge and recently renovated. The restaurants at dinner were excellent. Where else can you have fine dining prepared by super chef Donna at the Oceana restaurant, and have sand between your toes! The free dives each day were amazing. To be able to just walk out and dive whenever you wanted to was fantastic. The breakfast buffet was average - but everything else was great. I had a grilled mahi mahi sandwich every day at lunch by the beach because it was so good.
"Don't read the BAD reviews, no need for! it is SUPER!"
We stayed for 12 days in this resort and it is super. After reading the bad reviews on this site we were a little bit affraid but there is no need for. We visited a lot of hotels over the world so i think we can say this Hotel is SUPER. Our daugther (3yr) had also a wonderfull stay, nice pools, nice beach and nice people around. The rooms are all renovated and looks very friendly, we had in a room in the pelican building and that was the best location. The food is very good, there are many restaurants you can go; italian, japanese, grill, fish, etc. The location is good; you can go with the public bus to Willemstad, Sea Aquarium, Mambo Beach, etc.. just for a few dollars. At the end: Very good hotel, so don't worry after reading the bad reviews in here. TIP: get some bread to the sea to feed the fish.
"Best Experience"
I took my trip to Curaao alone. I intended to do some thinking, soak up some sun, and just relax. I was able to do all of those things and more! I want to give a huge THANK YOU to the Entertainment Team! All of them engaged me regularly, but also knew when to let me be. The team's perception of their guests and their guests' needs is amazing! If I looked like I was ready for a chat, they would stop to chat. If I looked like I was more into my book, they would just wave! Special kudos to Zeric, Omar, Willy, and Chuchoo! Thanks for a great experience!
"Relaxed stay"
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Curacao. The staff was very friendly and helpful, the food was good, the beach was perfect and cocktails whenever you wanted. Entertainment the whole day. We would stay here again.
"Relax in the sun"
My wife and I stayed at Carcao from 11/13 - 11/23. We had booked the Preferred Club which has a separate check in area from the main lobby. Check in was smooth and fairly quick. While the original room we were assigned was what we had booked (a Jr Suite), the view was horrible (overlooking a back ally) and it did not have a king bed. We asked to be given another room to one with a king bed and a better view and Emerson immediately helped us get that done. What great customer service!! Thanks Emerson, you actually made our vacation a super experience for doing that!!! The resort is not as big and fancy as some we have been to, but it was clean, the room was very nice, the staff was very friendly and accomidating and the food was good. The beach is rocky, so take water shoes and you will have no problems. The barrier reef that is in place provides an opportunity for some fantastic snorkeling right off the beach. We had no problem getting beach lounge chairs....but we did reserve them fairly early to get "the spot" we wanted. The Flamingo and the Pelican buildings were around the preferred member pool....the only drawback was that pool had NO swim up bar. You either had to get a drink from the beach butlers or trek to the Oceana Bar. While not that far, still a minor inconvenience. Norma, the bartender at the beach bar, was wonderful. Cheerful and joking....always a smile. Iona was our cook at the beach bar/grill most days. What a wonderful lady. We did a couples massage at the spa and Susy and Joana were great!! We enjoyed that immensly. We ate at all the "ala carte" restaurants and had very good food at each. We liked the seafood, steak and himatsu ones better than the Italian one. We had no complaints when we ate at the buffet...especially at breakfast. There is Wi-Fi available, but not in the rooms. Only the lobby area and the preferred members lounge. All things considered, the resort was a great value for us and we enjoyed it very much. It would be a place we would return to if we get back to Curacao!
"Great place, EXCELLENT Staff"
When Curacao was recommended to me, i really had no idea of what kind of place it was. As everyone, I went onto Trip Advisor to research, and found a mixed bag of reviews. I have been to many all inclusive resorts, all over the Caribbean Islands and understand that there are obviously differences in every place. Some more modern, some older, but at the end of the day it is the overall experience you have at the resort that make the trip, not the brand new granite counter top in your bathroom. I personally think many people get hung up on too many little details that they let ruin their vacation. As for Sunscape, if you are looking for a high rise glorious modern resort, than this may not be the place for you, but if you are looking for a place with nice clean accommodations & rooms, good food, and amazingly friendly staff, then this is definitely the place to go. The beach is has a break wall that allows the guest to swim, snorkle, kayak, and paddle board with no concerns of waves, or other large thinks lurking under the water. The bars are perfectly placed so the food and drinks are always close by. PARENTS with kids, listen up!!! the Discovery Club (Kids Club) is top notch, Our kids begged every day to go there and play with the staff. They take them to the kids pool, the aquarium, they have movie nights, among many other activities, My kids were soooo sad to say goodbye, and took photos with them to remember. Overall i would have to say that this place by far ranked high on my list of all inclusive resorts to visit. There may be more modern resorts, but the experience the staff provided was better than any other i have experienced, you could tell that they were going above and beyond to insure you have a good time. If you read any older reviews about the conditions of the resort, don't worry, Ultra Luxury Caracao has spent a lot of money and time to renovate the place. The also just added a new Executive Chef who has put his personal care into the food that is presented to the guests. His family is great, as my kids played with his kids during our stay. Check back soon, to see the photos i will be adding. Thank you to all of the staff that took such good care of my family while we visited your home!!!
"Great Vacations"
My wife and I stayed at the hotel for five days. We really loved it, staff was always there to help!!. Meals were great, they offer a good variety to choose from. Even if it is an all-inclusive hotel we paid for extra services such as: relaxing massage and romantic dinner by the beach. Both totally worth the money. The hotel beach also gives you the opportunity to have a nice snorkel experience and there's also a small caf inside the hotel facilities which I found very convenient. We really had the best time there!! Maraya Valerius helped us through the reservation process and transportation arrangement. She was very diligent and professional so the reservation/payment was done very smoothly.
"Relaxing, diving , beautiful place to go"
Just came back from a wonderful place called Utr Luxury Caracao Resort in Curacao wow, loved it, nice staff, good food , so clean and well maintained, good entertainment for adults and for children , also wonderful place to dive (next to Curacao aquarium) and 15 minutes from willemstad great place to vacation in. I cant say anything about the spa (i did not have time to try it)
"LOVE this place ... third time there"
This is a bit overdue, but my husband and I took our THIRD fantastic vacation at Sunscape this September. We have seen the hotel change hands and witnessed several improvements over the past few years, but the wonderful service remained the same. We have been married 11 years, and for the first 9 years we picked a different all-inclusive hotel on a different island each year for our anniversary. That was until we stayed here three years ago. We love it so much we keep going back. SERVICE: While the hotel and beach are beautiful, its the service and the people at Sunscape that keep us coming back. Kurt, the reservations manager, always makes us feel at home. Hell go out of his way to make sure your room and your vacation are perfect. Bartender Chin Ping is one of the best on the island. Hes always ready with a smile, a great concoction and helpful advise for seeing the island. Hes so fun, you have to find him. The service at the restaurants, bars and front desk all are superb. BEACH: The beach at the hotel is huge, with several sections spread out the entire length of the property. My favorite section is at the far end, where the snorkeling is wonderful. Tons of different fish, and we talked to people on two different trips who saw an octopus. There is a reef out from the beach that breaks up the waves and makes it really nice. If you stay in the upgraded rooms, youll have access to a private section of beach on this end complete with butler service and a private pool. We were in this section this past trip. You also get access to a VIP room in the lobby with free wifi, which is nice. ROOMS: Weve stayed in three separate areas of the hotel. The first year, we were on one of the main end rooms (Room No. 7122). This is my favorite, by far. We were on the ground floor, and it was amazing with a nice wide-open view of the water just steps from the beach. The second year, we stayed in the tower. It was a huge room with a really, really nice view of downtown and the entire property. This year, we again stayed on the far end of the hotel. This time we stayed on the third floor. Keep in mind there are no elevators in these buildings, so if you dont like stairs youll need to request a ground level room. All of the rooms in the hotel either have been renovated over the past year or so or are under renovation now. The renovations looked great. They were making over the tower while we were there. RESTAURANTS: They added a new restaurant this year, Oceana, which was a really nice seafood restaurant on the beach. Its really good, especially the shrimp. The Japanese steakhouse is wonderful, the barbeque restaurant is really nice (especially the ribs!!!), and the Italian is nice, although its pretty slow. If youre celebrating any sort of special occasion, the dinner on the beach is definitely worth the extra money. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary, and it definitely made it the perfect night. We had the lobster and shrimp meal, and it was to die for! AWAY FROM THE HOTEL: No visit to Curacao is complete without visiting the other great beaches on the island. While the beach at the hotel is fabulous, nothing compares to those on the west side of the island. My husband and I have rented a car for the past two years. Dont be too intimidated to do this. If you get a GPS you can explore the entire island. We rent through Just Drive. Its a great local company that I highly suggest. Its not located right at the airport, but theyll bring you a car. The island is small, the infrastructure is good and its safe. You have to see Porto Marie and Grote Knip and the long line of beaches on your way to West Punt, where you can eat at the restaurant at Playa Forti where the owner catches Lion Fish and cooks it up as you overlook the fishing waters and watch cliff divers. If youre feeling really adventurous, try the stewed goat! I really cant say enough good things about this resort. Like I said, our goal is to go to every island. But this one keeps bringing us back.
"Couldn't ask for More"
Bluewater grill is so great ,,food is good and service also,,Juliette and her staff works hard and well. Oceana: Did not visit there,,because one of us is allergic to fish,,but we know that there are one of the best girls at the resort working,, Vianella is fantastic and has been that over the years. Himitsu Japanes is also good or perfect whatever you like to call it.. Food is great and service also..Ingrid with her staff makes the evening to be one to remember.. And now they have a cafe and bar in the lobby,,thats also a good thing.. And not to forget,, Explorers club( kids club) is even better this year with Sunscape than it was with Breezes. And its still same Girls working there. Entertainment is good even if its not so much as earlier years , but we like it better now,,not so much Music and noice with all activities. This is our opinion as we feel it right now..of course we have missed alot to Wright here, but if you want to know anything so send us an mail. AND OF COURSE WE COME BACK NEXT YEAR !!!!!!!!
"Great Service and Lots of Fun. Paradise!"
The food was so good and delicious, excellent! Drinks were so well prepared. Variety of Music that makes me happy all the time. The service? I have no bad reviews about it at all, great people, great company and great personnel. People are so kind over there, you feel like home. The room was always clean, nice and neat. The same for the pools, beautiful beaches, there was always somebody making sure that you have everything you need and they make you feel comfortable and relaxed. Definitely I recommend it as a place to have a great vacations or getaway, I have no regrets on choosing this destiny for my vacations or the hotel. At night, there is always something to do, they have Karaoke, dancing classes and the entertainers are so funny and friendly, I had a blast every night. I have to send kudos to the best entertainer for me, his name is Gwengelo. He is friendly, with a good sense of humor, he is smart, he is always willing to assist you if you have any questions or concerns and he resolve any problems immediately. He should get a raise jejeje XD Good Job! I encourage everyone that is planning to visit this beautiful island Curacao to stay at the Curacao Resort Spa & Casino, you will always have fun in different ways either relaxed at the spa, doing some workouts at the gym, enjoying the pool, beaches and the sunny weather all the time, enjoying the good food or dancing in the disco at night.
