    What Our Customers Are Saying

    Written Review

My husband and I stayed here several times. This is one of the best hotels is Williamsburg and it is definitely the best value. The rates are excellent. The staff is awesome: extremely friendly and helpful. Our room and the common areas were very clean and well maintained. The mattresses and linens are comparable to those at hotels costing 3 or 4 times the nightly rate. Breakfast consisted of real food prepared fresh each morning: eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, biscuits and gravy... One of the best things about this hotel is the location. While it is directly across the street from Water Country and a shopping center that includes Dick's Sporting Goods, Best Buy and Target It is away from the congested concrete jungle of cookie cutter businesses on Richmond and Bypass Roads, There is a lot of safe green space behind the hotel for kids to run play. There are picnic tables and grills as well. we cooked dinner several nights; it was so much more enjoyable and less expensive than going out every night.
    "Nice place to stay"
Clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Super convenient to Williamsburg and Busch Gardens. The free breakfast on weekends is better than the free breakfast during the week but it's filling. Would definitely choose this hotel again.
    "Amazing value!"
We booked our stay at Days Hotel for one reason: Price. We came here expecting a budget hotel experience for a 2-day visit. Instead, we got a spotless & comfortable room, efficient and friendly service, and a nightly rate under $50 dollars (before tax). I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Busch Gardens or the historic triangle.
    ""Great Locataion/Wonderful Staff"
This hotel is set, you are like 4 minuets away from Busch Gardens. There staff was amazing. There is a guy "Robert" who actually convenienced my dad to stay an extra day, Thanks "Robert about telling us about Christmas Town , That sounds so cool. We may go, and if we do "Robert were calling you. Thanks Days Hotel
    "Everything we needed."
We stayed three nights September 20-23,2013 so we could go to Busch Gardens. The hotel was easy to find right off I- 64. All the rooms have a microwave and mini fridge. The laundry room has 2 washers and dryers with a place to sit very clean. The hot breakfast really made it great for my son and I so that we could get an early start to Busch Gardens. The cook Kenny Bland was super making eggs and sausage on Monday morning for my son who is on a special diet. We hope to stay again soon.
    "Spooky good"
This is the best place to stay near Busch gardens. Checked in get off the elevator and was met with ghosts, skeletons, spiders, bats. I was very surprised needless to say. The entire floor is decorated. After I got over the shock it was very neat! Found out its their small version of howl o scream at Busch gardens. A very nice touch I would say too. The room was clean and a nie size. Staff was great especially
    "good location"
This hotel is right off of the interstate, very easy to get to. Busch Gardens and Water Country are only minutes away. the continental breakfast was very filling. it was more than just the usual juice and bagels. we had pancakes and sausage, and toast and cereal. our room was very clean. it came with a microwave and refrigerator and we did not ask for one. the staff was super nice and accommodating.
    "Great Location"
Was impressed with the over all stay. The staff was very friendly and explained alot about the attractions. I am always intersted in the area schools and job they were very well informed. Must say it was a nice time and we had three children whom are home schooled so it was a learning trip as well and these fine teacher pointed us in the right direction.
    "Great hotel and location"
3 minutes from Water Country USA and 10 minutes from Busch Gardens. Large, clean rooms w/ fridge and microwave. Huge breakfast area w/ many hot foods. Kids enjoyed small outdoor pool and game room. Staff helpful. Several stores 3 minutes away.
Great value! Good management who work with the family to resolve issues and take action. The hotel had been renovated and repaired from a leak last year. We returned to hotel from last year and the management team (Lisa and Ray) accommodated our family and took care of the bill. They are great managers and took the initiative to ensure that we were taken care of. Hotel extremely convenient to Water Country and Bush Garden especially for families. Lisa the operations manager was very good and Ray who helped ensure that our stay was pleasant. Great Team!
    "Great value and location!"
We have stayed at this hotel last month and had a great time. It was very close to Busch Gardens and the Colonial Area so it was very convenient for us. Everything about our visit was just great. Our room was nice and I am very picky about it being clean which it was. There people at the desk were really helpful with directions and suggesting things for us to do and the breakfast was really nice. Much nicer than the free breakfast I have gotten at other more expensive hotels. All in all it was a great value, especially for what we paid.
"Pleasant staff, clean rooms and great location to Water Country and Busch Gardens."
My sister, nephew and I stayed at this hotel during the week of August 14th and we had a fun filled, relaxed and enjoyable stay. The hotel and rooms were clean, staff members (Tony) and Manager (Ray) were extremely helpful and welcoming. The free breakfast spread and Wifi was a very nice offering to guests. Definitely a plus that Water Country USA was located less than a mile away.
    "Great Location!"
Arrived at the Days Hotel after visiting Bass Pro Shop in Ashland, VA and the Merchants Square Village, Williamsburg. Our room was ready and clean. Pool was crowded but had a very nice screened in area to enjoy a drink and no bugs while watching the kids. The breakfast was good and plentiful. Front desk very knowledable we had asked for a place for dinner and we were directed to Pocahontas Trail where we found China Cuisine Sushi Bar best chinese food ever.
"Excellent service from the minute we arrived"
My family and I stayed for 5 days and right off the bat we loved it. We accidentally reserved a room that wasn't right for us and without hesitation we were placed in a room that was perfect. The maid service was beyond excellent and everyone right down to maintenance was helpful and very pleasant. Although the decor was a little bit out dated we really didn't care since we were basically just sleeping there anyway. The beds were comfy and very clean. Overall we all had a great experience and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone we know.
"Across from Water Country USA and minutes from Bush Gardens"
Excellent overall rating. Would recommend to others and i will revisit during vacations to bush gardens and water country USA. Fitness center has one working treadmill bike and step master. Breakfast till 10:00! No sugar-free syrup overall excellent
the SALAAM's---- had a very good experience this hotel. very comfortable & clean rooms. no more than 5 -minute drive to parks 7 restaurants. staff was great. stephanie (front desk) was very helpful & hospitable to me and my family by assisting us with the problem that we had with our reservation and quickly got us a room. JAMES was also helpful by help me 7 family with our door problem & luggage. all the other staff was kind as well. we will be booking here again this summer.
    "Great rates, good hotel."
The lobby and breakfast areas of this motel are in very good shape, but the hallways and rooms need a little more attention. Some wallpaper issues and a missing screw here and there, but the things that mattered seemed to be alright. A large flatscreen tv in our room (almost too big), a dvd player so that i could rent a couple of movies from the redbox kiosk at the Farm Fresh store down the road, and comfortable beds. No problems with check in. Everything went very smooth.
"Great Value, great proximity to the theme parks!"
The beds were very comfortable and rooms were very clean. They have a very nice sized swimming pool too. The location was very convenient. We never had to drive more than 5 minutes to get food or to get to either park. They have shopping stores directly across the street. You have to pass by a dozen restaurants on your way to Busch Gardens. We spent 4 nights there and I had a blast. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
The service was great. Robert at the front desk was so helpful. If you want to know where to eat ask him. Everyone was really friendly and the rooms were very clean. They even print out dreiction for you that dont have a gps. I have a family of 4 and if we ever go back we will stay here for sure. Thank you so much for making our stay so wonderful. They also have a childrens play area swings small climbing wall for little children on the set. horse shoes volley ball net and the pool 3 ft. to 5 ft. the breakfast is better than most. eggs, biscuits & gravy, toast, bagles, dandishs, mini muffins, waffles, cereal, fruit, and oatmeal.
"Awesome stay @ an awesome price!"
We stayed here for our trip to Water County and Busch Gardens. Awesome hotel with very curtious employees! Great continental breakfast! It's not just muffins and bagels. They had eggs, sausage gravy and biscuits, oatmeal, fruit, yogurt, ect....! We just wanted to change clothes somewhere to get ready to go to the water park because we arrived in the am to make the most of our day, and They let us check in early too!! Thank you! !
    "Excellent service!"
We arrived at the hotel at approximately 2 AM after a long drive, only to discover that somehow, they did not have our reservation in the system. Luckily, Mitch B. was there to take care of us. Mitch quickly started getting us entered in, while I called the 1800 number to check if they had me in the system. They did, so Mitch spoke to the woman on the phone to get to the details of the reservation. The room was clean, comparable to those at Days Inns. Everything worked fine in the room. I didn't really make use of the facilities around the hotel really, but did jump into the pool quickly. It was small, but appeared clean and well kept. The breakfast provided was slightly better than the ones at other Days Inns I've stayed at within the past year. Hot foods were provided (sausage, eggs- yes they are egg patties, biscuits and gravy) along with the typical mini muffins, pastries, bagels, toast, cereal, I think some fruits maybe apples and oranges. The breakfast area was kept pretty clean and stocked both days, which really meant they had to stay on top of it, as there appeared to be a high school field trip or two, so lots of kids eating lots of foods and making lots of messes. Speaking of the high school trips, we were not at all disturbed by them at night. Highway access was very convenient, and even though it was close to the highway, we were not awakened road noise or trucks going by. Overall, this will probably be my go to place when staying in the Williamsburg area.
"Such A Big Change since last visit"
The hotel had many changes since our last years visit, It seemed cleaner, new mattresses, new flat screen TV, and refrig, and microwaves in every room. It is always great pricing, but if you are expecting the Hilton. Its not there 100%, but the staff from check in to check out was great. Our rooms were clean. Now they have breakfast included. Will go back later this summer.
Wonderful service., great rooms and student friendly. Was a great hotel for the money and great location to Busch Gardens and Water Country USA. Ideal for a school trip or family vacation. Breakfast in the morning was a real treat with a variety of choices for everyone
    "Great Service"
I usually don't take the time to write reviews, but the people at this hotel were really fantastic, some moron at Days Inn had booked us at the Days Inn by Busch Gardens in Florida and I went into a complete panic. The man Robert at the front desk fixed everything and gave us a nicer room than even what we were expecting and he called the hotel in Florida and got us out if that reservation. I thought it was going to be a billing nightmare but this was really an example if taking something negative and turning it around. I think stuff in their rooms was new there was still a tag on the refrigerator lol. It would have been nice if the pool was indoors because it wasn't warm enough to swim outside. The man serving breakfast each morning was really nice too and the food was fine, it wasn't Golden Corral but it was free and not bad ... plenty of choices. Overall we would recommend this hotel, but I would call them directly to book to make sure you get the right place.
    "Hidden Gem"
We only stayed here one night but it was located near the interstate and near Busch Gardens which is why we visited. I was a little nervous because we dont usually stay at Days Inns but this is the nicest one I have seen. The staff was very helpful and friendly. They even let us use their computer to print our tickets to the park. Our room was fine, just your basic hotel room but it seemed modern. We did have the flat screen TV that others have mentioned and the little refrigerator in the room was a nice touch especially traveling with two kids. All in all I would recommend this hotel. Be sure to check the park schedule if you plan to visit Busch Gardens, we didnt realize it was only open on weekends.
"Willing to go above and beyond the call of duty"
My stay here was excellent. My room was very comfortable. The HOT breakfast that came with my room exceeded my expectations. I had more choices at my breakfast then any "room with breakfast" I have ever had anywhere else, which usually includes toast or bagel, coffee, cold cereal, and juice. While I was there I was working with the sales manager for a group that I wanted to bring in this September. She also went above and beyond her call of duty, and I certainly appreciate all the work that she put into this for me. I hope that she will be repaid for this some day. HATS OFF TO THE STAFF!
    "Satisfied customer"
My family and I stayed at the days hotel after a visit to Busch gardens. It was very close to the park which was great after a long day at the park. The staff was very polite and went out of their way to make sure we had everything that we needed to make our stay more comfortable. The room was clean and accommodating with a mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker, tv and DVD player. They also had a nice continental breakfast in the morning. Not only did they have the normal cereals, muffins and donuts they also had hot items like biscuits, eggs, sausage and sausage gravy. Overall we were very pleased with our experience and if we are ever in the area again we will be staying again.
    "Getting better!"
We have stayed at this hotel several times because it is close to Busch Gardens. We live an hour away and we get passes and take the kids several weekends each year. We stayed last weekend and it was our best experience so far. It is very convenient that breakfast is now included with the room, my kids are picky eaters and I hate to have to buy breakfast for them and then they don't eat. The rooms seem less dated than last year, flat screen TV is a nice addition. We were thinking about trying somewhere newer this year, but now we are happy to stay where we are. Keep it up!
"Great place to stay for value!"
We stayed here on an overnight trip to Williamsburg. This is a very nice hotel, with a friendly staff, clean, comfortable rooms. We had a king bed room, and it was great for $60. I would stay here again! It is a great location, with a shopping center accross the street with a Target and Dick's Sporting Goods!
    "great time"
We had a great visit. It was nice and quiet. Robert at the front desk was awesome! The free breakfast was more than I had anticipated. I did not even know they were doing it. We will definitely be back in the summer to visit again for the parks!
    "Thanks for Everything!"
I took my family to Williamsburg for Grand Illumination and Christmas shopping and the Days Inn Busch Gardens Area was a great choice for us for lodging. The price was great, location perfect and the staff was really friendly and helpful with making our stay fun! The lobby was decorated for Christmas like something you see in a movie and my kids really enjoyed looking at everything. Williamsburg was so much fun in December I cant wait to take my family back this summer and go to the theme parks!
